When I walk in the door and sit at the bar, I know I will always receive the same great service, food, and drink. Consistency is a huge reason for the 5 stars. The bar staff and management are very friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable with the entire dining experience. Only thing I wish they had is volume for the sports on TV. They pride themselves on their sponsorship of the Red Sox - even offer an amazing Kayem hotdog during the games - but cant hear the game! They can't seem to get how to cook meat ,every time we go in there we have to send an item back, went on Thursday night and my burger was well done asked for it med , my sons steak was well done he asked for it med rate, my husband's steak tips were ex rare and he asked for med well. We will not be returning again because it gets old and they manage comes over and apologizes but never offers to take a meal off or free dessert. This has happened 4x to much read more

This Ninety-Nine is a favorite of my wife and me..we frequent it often on the way home from my Mom's home who resides in the Seacoast area. As always the food and service was very good. I do have to say that, as typical of a lot of large chain restaurants, bathrooms do not get adequate attention. Nobody wants to enter a bathroom at a any restaurant and completely lose their appetite. I'm afraid this is what happened when I entered the men's room, I will leave the details up to your imagination, but it was horrific. My wife could not find any soap on the female side, She told me there appeared to be no soap dispenser that she could find. I wanted to make this complaint known to management, but there was no way to do so on their website and I am not going to call, so I am using this in hopes my review will get someone's attention. read more

This is one of the few places my elderly mother would eat. I don't know who trains their staff, but they are blessed. Every single server we have ever had there have been exceptionally kind and patient with my Mom, even after she developed severe dementia. Everyone helps her with doors, seating (no children, no bright lighting because of her wet macular, no climbing). I have been very grateful for them, since they made what could be a difficult time out very pleasant and enjoyable. The "Nines" is definitely one of my more favorite chain restaurants. They roll out a very good and very consistent meal service. I've been frequenting this location for well over 20 years and they've always done well here. My favorite item on the menu by far are the Gold Fever Wings! They're crispy boneless chicken fingers coated in a honey mustard BBQ sauce and served with blue cheese dressing. They're amazing! They also make some excellent burgers, steak tips, and one of the best Chicken Caesar Salads around. Oh, and try the potato skins...they're definitely a little different than most places make them. It seems like they're deep fried possibly. Gives them a nice crispness to them! Keep up the great job 99! read more

What a complete disappointment. I get this is a chain restaurant and food should be consistent from location to location. French onion soup was bland Luke warm at best and was served on a bowl not a crock, the cheese was not crispy. I had steak tips 16 oz med rare the came to the table cold and rare at best I sent them back and the returned 5 minutes later over cooked and rubber like. My other 1/2 had the chicken pot pie w mashed the cool potatoes off set the extreme temp of the pie filling. All in all I feel it was a complete waste of 45.00. Avoid the men's room the floor was sticky trash was over flowing. Not worth the stop keep driving there are several other places just beyond this location read more

The 99 restaurant is my favorite by far. The staff food and atmosphere is great, for people of all ages. I would recommend the gold fever wings with blue cheese. They are the best wings you will ever taste. Fries I would score 9.5 burgers 10. I love this restaurant and hope u try the wings!!!! read more

My cousin and best friend live in Kingston, NH and we always go to this particular 99 when up there, it's fantastic. Service is unreal, I'm all about the top quality customer service experience and this one out of all the other 99's I've dined at is top quality. I never go to the other ones because I am always disappointed. When I was in scholl there was one next to the school but I went twice and the food wasn't cooked as well and the wait staff was not knowledgeable and quite rude each time. This place has gone so far downhill. Firstly, my most favorite thing at this place was the buffalo wing salad...they took it off the menu. Got southwestern egg rolls for a app and they were served frozen! Crunched into ice. They gave me another order and it was soggy and gross. Pretty damn good for a chain restaurant. You know what to expect when you go to a restaurant like this one. You have to use your brain when you order your food, try and pick something taht isnt too hard to cook. I love their chicken breast, And the pot pie is always good and ive tried it in 3 different 99 restaurant and the quality is the same. Dont get steak, you shouldnt get steak in a chain restaurant so like i said, dont be dumb, order chicken, the pot pie and as an appetizer get the moon muzzarela whatever they call it, Also try the steak tips flatbread i love the sauce on this one, Also try the potato skins and the gold fever wings. One tip for you and i cant stress this enough: Do NOT ask for fish or steak in ANY, and i repeat, ANY restaurant, chain or not. Want steak and fish make it yourself the way you like. Otherwise everything else here is amazing and very cheap compared to applebees, fridays, friendlys, longhorn and outback. Also better food for the kids and cheaper too. Love yhis place. Food was good years ago but the last few times it's been disappointing. The last time I was in I found a piece of plastic in with the steak tips. Time before my meal came out cold and had to be reheated. Also be careful if you are seated between the bar area and the bathrooms. Went here for lunch on a Friday with a good friend of mine. We arrived at 12:45 and it was crowded! We had a short wait of about 5 min. We were then seated and our waitress came right away to our table. We asked for drinks and then a couple of minutes to look at the menu. There truly is something for everyone on the 99's menu. We chose to order off the lunch menu. I ordered chicken, broccoli mac and cheese and my friend got a classic burger with fries. Both meals came out quickly and were made as ordered. I enjoyed my meal and if you've read any of my reviews, you will know I am a pasta snob.I do not like overcooked pasta and the chef cooked the pasta in my dish perfectly! Portion sizes were good sized for lunch portions and I ended up taking half my meal home. It was quickly finished off by my son when he got home from work and got his thumbs up too. I read a couple of bad reviews about this particular 99 Restaurant, but I had no complaints from my visit. Parking is plentiful and the staff were good. Manager was so nice. but the waitress was rude and uncalled for went to dinner with my family. 7 of us. 4 different bills. came to me and my best friend complaining about her tip after my parents left. my parents left her almost a $10 tip. it's not my responsibility to know how much my family tipped her. it was not my fault my grandmother didn't give her a tip. or how much my aunt tipped her. she cleaned up our table angrily while we were STILL eating which we were informed by the manager that that is against their policy. in general she was just rude and it was uncalled for. read more

This was my first experience at a 99 restaurant in many years, because over the years, I have not been a fan of 99 restaurants, for a number of reasons. Well my thinking is revised at least for this particular 99. The prices were very reasonable, food was decent, service was good (but slow). I love the 99. But tonight was one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant in a while. First off our waitress,Kelli, takes a little to long to come and take our orders. I asked her to if I could get the chicken tender dinner tossed in gold fever sauce. She then said "No" trying to be sarcastic and fun, but it made no one laugh. Actually I gave a fake laugh to make her feel good. After this I ask her if she can change the TV in front of us to "ABC channel 5, Warriors vs Knicks". She says yes, and the channel on the TV is changed after almost 5 minutes and its a different basketball game. Keep in mind I usually wouldn't be mad, but we were watching the game at home then decided to watch the 4th quarter at the 99. We never got to see that 4th quarter. I almost forgot, we had asked for cheese and crackers and popcorn, she comes back with just cheese and crackers. She forgot the popcorn. An absolute stunt on her part. The food didn't take to long which was good, thank you to the chefs in the chefs in the back. Lastly, I get her attention after she is done speaking with another table and she says "are you just going to interrupt me while i'm speaking to customers". Again being sarcastic and thinking she was some type of comedian. I probably forgot some other "jokes" she tried to make, but in the end it was not a great night at the 99. read more
