The restaurant has plenty of seating tables and chairs I went into the bar which is casual ambiance. Full bar with special drinks listed. The service is excellent very cordial and friendly. Today I just got appetizer from the bar clam chowder French fries and potato skins everything was excellent they also have a nice selection of seafood and salad everything was very good.

This is the LARGE size Prime Rib: Really big and really PRIME.

I came in for the Prime Rib at 5 on a Saturday. Got a booth right away--no waiting. I hadn't been here since the change in ownership, several years ago. Two sizes: 16 oz and 24 oz. I got the biggie, ordered medium rare, for $46. Yeowee! What a gorgeous slab of meat! And butter-tender! I would have enjoyed a little more seasoning, though. But not complaining -- I took most of it home! I am happy when restaurants are so proud of their food that they refuse to skimp on quality or serving size. The place has been moderately updated inside, but has the same standards for cleanliness and comfort. The staff is new to me, but all extremely pleasant and attentive. You'll feel right at home as always.

Awesome food, basic, plain and simple. This is the first restaurant that I've been to, that had calamari that had all of the calamari pieces are tentacles. There were no rings. the rings that you see are actually onion rings. And the chowda is pissa

Fried haddock with mashed instead of fries

This is an old-school restaurant. Dated in the best way. I would not change a thing. My sister and I have been coming here for years. They have consistently delicious home style dishes that have been perfected through the years. Their seafood is always fresh and cooked to perfection. There is something for everyone here. The wait staff are excellent, no matter how busy they have been we have always been treated like their only customer. My Sister got fish and chips with mashed potatoes instead of fries, and a side of butternut squash. Yes that picture is all thick white flaky haddock, no fries on that plate. I got the Cajun seafood sauté. Angel hair pasta was not listed, but I asked and they did it. It was nice and spicy with plenty of shrimp and scallops. We both had more than enough left to take home for a second meal. Yeah no cooking tonight!!

GET THIS. creamy and thick clam chowder.

Our only real option was two seats at the bar. We had quick and attentive service from the bartender. Interesting offerings for cocktails, and we enjoyed our drinks. The food I think can be best described as American/Thai/Asian. Food came pretty fast, and we started with crab rangoon, and possibly the largest we have ever been served. Fried up crisp, not greasy and generously filled with cream cheese and real crab. Next up, we tried the Waygu burger which was quite good, nice toppings. My only complaint here was we wished the fries were fresh out of the fryer. I'm really fussy about fries and like them hot, crispy and fresh. Sadly, these were not. I had my eye on the Choco Taco for dessert, and this was a sophisticated version of the classic frozen treat you may have enjoyed from the ice cream truck as a kid. Home made with great ingredients, it was a perfect finish to a very nice meal. I would definitely give these guys a try when in Newburyport.

We first went up to the 21+ bar area on the top deck where they were playing live music. It was too crowded and loud for me, so we went down to the bar downstairs. Our bartender was nice and got us our drinks right away. I got the SOBER STRAWBERRY drink which was fine just a bit too tart for me. After only around 20 or so minutes we got a text that our table was ready so we went over to grab it. When we sat down, service unfortunately took a turn and it took forever to get our orders in, get our food, etc. We ordered a few items to share: -CLAM CHOWDER: Chowder flavor was good and a nice portion. -BEET SALAD: The beets were nice and tasty and went well with the greens and dressing. -MUSSELS: Flavor was fine. There were some that weren't cooked as well, also a lot of sand in some of the mussels as well. They did also have a few toasted bread slices to dip into the broth which is always a nice touch. All in all, an ok spot for a bite to eat but wish service could have been stronger.

It came with pork belly and cauliflower purée with a chimichurri. It was cooked really well but the scallops were a little gritty (I don't know why!). The drink was strong but tasted great! Our waitress was super attentive and the food came out quickly. And of course, who doesn't love the view? Sadly when I went, it was cloudy! But that's okay because then that meant there was no wait (usually the wait is so long). And it was cool, not too hot. Honestly ideal! I always come back, but I do wish the menu was a bit more expansive.

This place is immaculate! Every inch of the walls were covered with college banners from all over as well as pictures. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. One waitress has worked there for 30 years. That's a huge plus in my book. We started out with a few beers. They have beer on tap and bottles as well. There is a full bar. It's small but it was packed at 3:30 on this Wednesday afternoon. We asked the bartender about what we were looking to get...I always go large...thankfully he said that a small full bellied clam app and a small huge sized scallop plate with fries would be enough for us. We were so full! Even left with leftovers. Let me just say...can you say, best seafood anywhere? Seriously! So gooood! You have to try this place. Parking is available. If you're going when it's dark, watch for the sign. It isn't that bright. That would be my only thing that wasn't 100%. But hey, it's what's in the inside, right?

My clam dinner was outstanding, among the best I've had. My only issue - a minor one - was the "market value" price of the clams. I thought $42 was a bit steep. But in view of the freshness and portion size I'm inclined to overlook this. My wife also very much enjoyed her chicken tenders. All in all an excellent lunch with very good service. Will definitely return when in the area!!!
