I am all set with this Wareham Ninety-Nine, in fact, I might be all set with all Ninety-Nine Restaurants. The last time I was at the Wareham restaurant, we waited for about 15 minutes until the waitress even acknowledge us. I ordered a $9.99 three course meal - asked for french onion soup, I got clam chowder. I didn't wanted to ask for the right soup because I didn't want to risk having to wait another 20 minutes until my soup comes. The appetizer never came, and then my entree Fetuccini Alfredo finally came, and it was a sloppy mess - the sauce was way too creamy, pasta was so soggy that I didn't even eat any of it. Not once did the waitress came by to check on our food, and she only took the orders, the food was delivered by 3 different people. Needless to say, I am NEVER coming back to this restaurant unless they do some serious trainings for their wait staff. The bar isn't that bad, but the dining room? Forget it. read more

Ate later on a Saturday evening with a party of 7. Servers were wrung out from a long day but tried their best to get us what we asked for. One special request was handled very well by the server. The food was satisfying with one not prepared very well. A few from our group ordered seafood chowder that was to have shrimp in the server said. When they all were served the chowder though there was no seafood just the creamed broth. Lack of attention is the reason for 2 stars. read more

Wherever the location around New England, I'm a monthly visitor to the restaurant. This one is not a lot different. Their food and service is consistent. If you're nearby for a ballgame, this is a good stop to hit. I'm not brave enough to go outside of my normal selections and tastes for food, so I can't speak for about 75% of the menu, but the chicken parm @ $9.99 is a pretty damn good deal. Restaurant is clean, service is good, there wasn't any wait despite the restaurant being fairly crowded at the time. Came Here tonight for my cheat meal ordered the prime rib. I was happy then a few moments later the server Erika let me know they only had one 12oz left not medium rare prime rib left. Not good how can they run out on a Saturday night? What could've been the last time coming here changed when the manager Adam and Erika turned a bad situation into a good one! 5 star customer service! They did offer me something else. I understand things happen but when you have your heart set on a good meal after only eating keto diet sorta stinks. Long story short this review could've been 1 Star had the customer service not been great! Last year my wife and I redid our kitchen and literally ate at the 99 three out of seven nights a week for months. It was always good and we came to enjoy the friendly attentive service. A few nights ago I stopped in and ate at the bar and the restaurant feels like it needs a good cleaning top to bottom. My service at the bar was decent the food was good and I decided to come back the next night on my way home from work. I sat at a table and waited finally when my waitress came over I gave her my entire order including my drink order and she asked me if I wanted popcorn... She came back with my beer no popcorn and disappeared. Another service person came with my salad with dressing on the salad and not on the side... Not a big deal. I ate it & it was decent and I still didn't see my waitress. The broiled scrod that was delivered by yet another person and I asked for some ranch dressing and when she left I realized I didn't have a knife and fork. I waited and waited and finally got up and found someone who could give me a service. My food was tasty however it was literally the smallest piece of fish that I've had delivered to me - with the exception of a fillet of fish ordered at McDonald's (no actually that was bigger). Had the waitress come back and asked me how I was doing I would've been able to resolve this situation... I'm sure. At the end of the meal my waitress asked how everything was and I told her how I felt. I had ordered the three-course dinner and was so disappointed that I asked her to just cancel the desert and if she could bring me my check. The waitress did bring my check dropped it off and disappeared. She charged me for my dessert and left me no pen! I had had enough of the 99 experience got up took my receipt and walked out. I am a pretty patient person and generous... It takes a lot for me too reach the level of frustration that I felt the other night at the 99. I'm not saying that I won't go back there but it's gonna be a while. read more

Basic restaurant. Equivalent to many of the chain restaurants. We needed a quick place to grab dinner... this was where we ended up.

I live in Wareham, and frequent this 99, especially at lunch, but sometimes for dinner as well. When I go for lunch, my favorite thing to order is the lunch portion of the baked schrod, that comes sprinkled with bread crumbs. When dinner rolls around, you might see me ordering the steak tips and chicken fingers, country fried chicken, grilled turkey tips, or the larger dinner portion of the previously mentioned baked schrod. The burgers here are all too massive for my appetite, though. Food is always good, servers are friendly, and usually do a good job. The food might be a tad expensive, but at least I can make multiple meals out of one order. read more

This is my favorite restaurant by far! They just got a new building too and it's fantastic. (As long as they don't seat you in the one awkward half booth on the end for date night I hate that spot. Every one can stare you down while you're trying to have a night out with Hubby) the food is excellent perfectly cooked and the beers are ice cold! The service is so good that when you ask for a beer you might get two because the manager didn't see quick enough service. Not complaining at all we said we'd keep them because who wants to waste a beer. Got surprised with a small discount on our bill that's customer service. I highly recommend this place for anyone and everyone date night or kids night this is the place to go. read more

Ordered the prime rib cooked to medium, and it came out barely warmed. It was almost warm enough to consume so I put up with it, as I did not want the staff to 'drop it' during a reheat. They are moving soon to a location much closer to the new Wareham Walmart, maybe that explains the lack of care in their food preparation. This is not the first time food there has come under heated. The new location restaurant is very nice. It is very spacious and the decor is very nice. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was excellent. While looking at the menu there was a "gluten friendly" menu, but I'm not quite sure if it is completely gluten free, so you may need to check in with them. The food was good, something you would expect from the Pub 99. The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly and checked in on our table periodically, flawlessly getting anything we needed or what she thought we needed. Prices are okay, and the serving sizes are not that bad either. Overall, great experience. I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out at the very spacious bar, or having a nice family dinner with the kids. read more

Arrived Sunday and the staff was awesome food was wonderful. Since I am on business I find it convenient to visit this establishment since it is close to the hotel. Usually not a fan of the 99 - went there tonight for dinner with friends. Steak tips were spot on delish!!! Waitress wasn't the best but she wasn't the worst either. Went last night looking forward to a nice meal. Ordered the prime rib WOW was it bad. It was so tough I could hardly cut it. The meat had an old fetrid taste to it. Took an hour to discard the taste in my mouth i returned it and ordered the Royal sirloin. Not much better Zero flavor. The last few times I've gone to this place have been very dissapointed Shamus the bartender was mostly AWOL and seemed indifferent to his service. Went in for lunch with the wife. We sat at the table for a few minutes when our waiter breezed passed saying "I'll be right back". After a few more minutes we got up and went to the bar and got service right away. The food came out fast, the bartender was great. But all through lunch our waiter( let's call him man bun) we'll man bun kept pointing to us and saying things to his coworkers. If man bun had actually tried taking a drink order or something we may have stayed at his table even tho he had a man bun. But he didn't so screw you man bun. Upon ordering, I was questioned repeatedly. The girl on the phone had been rude, demanding if there was anything else with my order before I was done. I did my best in attempting to order, but she continuously cut me off and told me to to repeat. I figured my signal was bad, so I let it slide. When I asked for a total, after having to remove an item, I was told that the manager would have to get involved to take that item off. So I was informed that my total number would change, but upon arrival I was still charged everything I was told over the phone. Picking up my order I was informed that I was not receiving everything. One of the items being a cookie out of the five that I had ordered. I was only given two ice cream containers, being told they shoved the ice cream into two containers for convenience. It was anything but. I was also informed they no longer did cookies for pickup. Even though on the website you are still able to request them. Once able to look at my food, I found I was missing items. I was given a double order of a side, when I asked for two different ones. I was aware of the missing cookie. I looked at the receipt, confused, It had said I was charged for the cookie I did not receive, it was the same total I was told over the phone before arrival. I'm not entirely sure why this happened, but this was the most ridiculous experience I had ever received from the 99. I've never had a problem this drastic with the customer service before, but I do not recommend ordering online/over the phone to anyone else. Terrible customer service as well. read more

99 Restaurants have always been my go to place for fast comfortable dining. The people are friendly and the food is usually good. But... my family and I will no longer patronize the restaurant in Wareham. Two times I found pieces of plastic in my food. Once is a mistake, twice is too much. Obviously the kitchen staff are very sloppy in their food prep. It makes wonder what else they are sloppy about. read more

We came in with a large party of people who were all getting drinks and food on separate tabs the night before a wedding. Despite the insanity the staff was extremely professional and courteous, drinks were great, and the food was delicious!! We appreciate their level of great service so incredibly much. Love the 99 but the service here was awful. Haven't been back in over a year, usually go to Plymouth instead. Not going to waste my hard earned money tipping someone who didn't come to my table for 45 minutes after I finished eating dinner. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. We used to go out to eat every once in a blue moon (like maybe twice a year). We always order food to go at fast food pizza joints. A few months back, we went to the bar for half price apps that they advertise: Monday through Friday before 6PM or after 8PM at the bar. Well, they got us hook, line and sinker as we now go every Wednesday due to the wonderful service and great personalities of the bartenders that they have! Once in a while now, we sit in the dining room and order a great meal, but nothing beats the bar at this place. The bartenders are top notch and nothing can compare to them and their service. They are the ones (Heidi and Patrick in particular) that got us coming back on a weekly basis. The food is always great. I love this place! read more

While in the middle of a crazy busy day, we stopped for the first time at the Wareham 99. Around 2:30pm, the lunch crowd was gone, we were seated straight away and our server, Nancy , came and gave us the specials. She had so much energy and enthusiasm, and was so friendly and attentive that the food and drinks were secondary. You're never going to be blown away by anything different at the 99, so it all comes down to service. She killed it- here I am a couple weeks later, still totally impressed with the Wareham restaurant, and the excellent service provided to us by Nancy. read more

I was so excited when this place came to town. I expected it to be like the old steak house 99 Restaurant used to be. The interior in Wareham location was not as cozy as others were. The food had become very 'chain like' . Also, I believe that they may have had a problem with consistent help .A few of my servers were awesome and made my visit pleasant. However, twice I walked out of the establishment after being seated, due to the appearance and attitude of the servers. I have children and their health comes first. Food is average. Location is good. Desserts are the best bet here. Drinks are as expected. read more

My wife and I are regulars at the Wareham 99s restaurant and think the place is great. We eat there at least twice a week and are usually satisfied with the food, no restaurant is perfect. When the food isn't quite right, the management is always there to rectify the situation. We have a great relationship with the staff and the dining experience is always pleasurable. My boyfriend and I are always looking for new and fun places to eat. He is a steak lover and definitely wanted steak today so we agreed to find somewhere with a good steak! He used to work at the 99 a few years back and informed me that the food was great. We were seated right away, and I really loved how big the booths were. Our server, Michaela, was very nice and hospitable. My boyfriend thought that she seemed miserable at work, but I saw a few other employees looking the same. I work in the service industry and I know that people are always watching, so maybe try to have your employees smile more! I loved my food, I got a Honey BBQ wrap. I also got a strawberry martini. The martini I must say wasn't great only because there were chunks of strawberry in the martini. I think it would be better without the muddled pieces of strawberry in there. We got a cookie skillet for dessert and it was yummy! Ended up tipping Michaela pretty well, as my boyfriend and I know that the restaurant business is not an easy one, we always tip well because we understand not everything can be perfect! I do love me some good food - but as my dad and I agree - there are really only 97 reasons that I love the Ninety Nine since they took 2 essential items OFF the menu that I truly cherished: the calypso coconut shrimp appetizer and the the crispy fish tacos. They were delish and I have no idea what they were thinking when they took it off....I have to admit that I have a hard time going back there sometimes because of this fact. But I do love their chicken fingers dinner with cole slaw and fries (with honey mustard sauce - not bbq) and it's next door to my house. Last night was the first time I came back to the 99 Restaurant since I fell off your unstable stools. There were no specials for vegetarians or vegans again. I asked if they could leave off the shrimp on one of their salads and if so what would be the price? He suggested I go for the Southwest Veggie Stack @ 1,150 calories a pop. Not to mention the sodium 2,450mg. 102% of the daily allowance. Our waiter came back, he was very polite, and told me they would not adjust the price but would add more veggies and rice. More food? With all the calories and sodium you add, more food is not an option. Sorry 99 Restaurant, you completely fail as a healthy place to eat. Not flexible enough either. Please use caution when sitting in their high top tables because the stools tip over quite easily. read more
