    Steak and eggs

Went here on a recommendation from a friend and it didn't disappoint. Started with a hot grilled coffee cake and banana muffin which was perfect. My wife had the steak and eggs which was done exactly the way she likes it. Steak barely medium and the egg sunny side up. She has food allergies so the cook made home fries especially just for her. I had french toast with fresh bananas with plenty of confection sugar and butter. I absolutely loved it! Service was good. She was attentive even while clearly the only waitress on and business was steady. Only disappointment was the coffee. Typical New England blend blah coffee. With Cape Cod Coffee right down the road, right not try the best local roaster around. We will absolutely go back!

great, affordable options for breakfast and lunch. Be prepared to wait up to 30-45 minutes on weekend mornings, but worth it for an always good, traditional breakfast. For breakfast, their breakfast sandwiches, omelettes and waffle with fruit are all great. The poppy bagel mcnagle is good and different. Lunch; try the stuffed quahog. Best on cape and reasonably priced. The clam chowder also has a great reputation. Ultimate chicken sandwich is delicious with the house dressing.

Marshland is a quintessential hometown diner in Sandwich, MA on Cape Cod just off Cotuit road. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! It's a stop for locals which always says a lot about a business! So if you're in the area definitely stop in!

I was brought here for dinner by friends of mine who live locally in the area (I was visiting from Los Angeles). They said that the food had a home-cooked flavor to it. The food did not disappoint! I had one of the specials on the menu for a Friday night: fried salmon fillet in lemon, butter and capers sauce. I also selected the baked potato and fresh greens beans as sides. The salmon was lightly pan fried, perfectly salted, and the lemon butter sauce was nicely drizzled on the salmon; it wasn't drenched in sauce, which would have ruined the dish. My friend had the chicken and broccoli with penne, which was full of cheesy flavor, but not overwhelmingly so. Her husband ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes, green beans, and a HUGE popover. The prime rib cut was exactly as he ordered it, and it was a very thick slice to boot. All of these dishes were more than any of us could finish as the portions are quite large. We packed half of everything to go. If you're looking for an upscale restaurant with hints of romantic ambiance, Marshland Too isn't the place. However, if you're wanting very tasty food with a home-cooked flair, and you don't mind the diner environment, then I highly recommend the place. Ask for Julie; she was our server. She's super friendly and attentive all around!

We were certainly hoping for more given the Yelp reviews, but this place is just plain average. The decor is basic, the menu is classic continental, heavy on seafood. We went for classics, Bacon Cheddar Burger, Chicken Tenders with Onion Rings, Clam Chowda and the dish they are "famous for", their "World Famous Stuffed Quahog". Everything was mediocre except the onion rings which were a bit above average. The chowder as overly thick and for being their claim fame, the quahog was nothing special. The service was fair. The bottom line, there are much better places to eat on the Cape.

Ok place, clean and neat. Football squares, keno. Service can be slow depending on who's working. Plenty of parking.

We were seated right away, though the high-top tables near the door were freezing; guests with winter jackets and hats looked like they were braving the arctic. Our waitress didn't come by for about 15 minutes, which we didn't mind initially. When she arrived, she seemed a bit awkward. We ordered drinks and asked about the $9 chowder, specifically if it came in a bowl or cup. She confidently said it was a "bigggg giant bowl" and suggested we split it. When the chowder finally arrived, we were disappointed. I may have counted three small potatoes in my bowl, and the crackers seemed to take up most of the space. If you're craving chowder in Plymouth, there are many better and more reasonably priced options. We are new homeowners and cook lovely meals daily, so the few times we go out these days, we really look forward to enjoying the atmosphere and getting exactly what we are paying for. We're not overly fancy--pubs and taverns are our jam. Sitting at the bar, we finally enjoyed our meals. The bar staff were great, and the actual meal itself was VERY good. However, it seemed like if you're not a "regular," the attention and welcoming feel can be inconsistent unless you're seated at the bar. In short: good food, okay bar service, but inconsistent front-of-house experience.
