Great spot with an awesome outdoor patio! We came here for a birthday dinner and the food and service was good. All the tables were spaced out well and all the wait staff was wearing masks and following COVID procedures. The rolls were super hot and fresh out the oven and melted in my mouth. We ordered the lobster ravioli, BBQ chicken pizza and scallop risotto. The pizza was large and tasty - but something you can really get anywhere. The stand out meal was the lobster ravioli! Honestly, it was better than lobster ravioli I had in the North End recently (Surprising, I know). The sauce was flavorful and the ravioli's were stuffed with fresh lobster. I highly recommend this dish! We notified them inside that we had a birthday and they brought out a small cheesecake and we sang happy birthday. Something that was nice to see during COVID times. We've eaten here before on our traditional cape cod vacations and loved it, went for father's days and it was not good. It wasn't busy, we waited 45 minutes for the food, and was disappointed, the food was by no means the same quality. The staff didn't seem to care if we were there or not. Its disheartening because the location is great, the look and feel of the restaurant is very nice but it was by no means worth the price. read more

I love the Courtyard. Cozy dining indoors, with outside seating in warmer weather. Try not to sit too close to the pizza oven because it's pretty warm there. There are bars both inside and outside. All around not good! My friend and I went in for lunch and to catch the Cinco de Mayo party . We waited 12 to 13 minutes before we could get a drink when there was one only one other person in the bar when we got the drink there was black specks in every single one of my ice cubes and on top of that she took the other person's money and decided to not wash your hands grabbed my straw from the top and grab my fruit and threw it in my drink wasn't really enjoying the drink too much but I drank it anyway cuz I personally like to leave good reviews but this time unfortunately I cannot . We decided to order some food for lunch cuz we were pretty hungry the two apps we ordered a broccoli app was not cooked he could not eat it I ordered Edamame which also was not caught I had to take that home and re-steam it and take it out of those tough pods that they served again . Lastly we actually went into the courtyard to participate in the flyer we saw that was advertising a cinco de mayo party bartender do nothing about it . Came here after a family funeral at The Bourne National (military) Cemetary. The ambiance inside is very inviting & comfortable. They have an outside area that has a nice seasonal big & open courtyard with a huge firepit. Our server (Ms. Walsh) was excellent, especially since there were 10 of us !! She was very friendly, helpful & attentive. As for the food & drinks, we couldn't have been happier. The appetizers were good as well as the drinks. The prime rib Ravioli was great. However, the short ribs with mashed potatoes stole the show !!! So very good. In fact we took 2 orders to bring home. Ordered chowder and a pizza. Was sitting outside by pizza oven. Pizza was cooked and sitting under heat light for 15 mins before my chowder came. Chowder was luke warm at best. Tasted ok but very few clams. Then pizza was brought over. Pizza was gross. Had burnt parts on bottom that came from pizza stone. They don't scrape stone between cooks. Was actually hard to believe they could mess up pizza with the oven they have. Drinks were weak. First vodka soda tasted like all soda. Second one was slightly better. I want to like this place. Food is terrible. Friend got a chicken sandwich which was dry and over cooked. I'd come for atmosphere and a drink. Not for food. Even the drinks stink. Stick with beer as they can't water that down. Shameful how bad things were. Even the fact my pizza was ready and sat under light as no one could bring my chowder out was crazy. Won't hurry back. read more

I have been living as a Washashore for about 4 1/2 years now first in Cataumet and now North Falmouth. MY absolute go to is the Courtyard!! I have probably eaten here at least once a week for my whole 4 years and have NEVER had a bad meal. I love so many things pizza, chicken fracases, risotto balls and sooooo much more. A favorite place to meet friends for a drink, enjoy live music and have a meal. Consistently great food, especially the Mussels Fradiavlo & Haddock Piccata. The Pan Seared Scallops are another standout with a large portion of scallops, cooked perfectly. This is a solid spot for standard New England sea food favorites like baked haddock, fish & chips and chowder. They also have homemade pizzas. The food is fresh and well prepared and the portions are generous. You can get a nice dinner for around $25/person. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is usually good. We went here for dinner on our honeymoon and instantly regretted it when the manager said hi, then took a phone call right in front of us instead of even asking us to wait a moment- and this was after standing at the podium waiting for someone to arrive. Then, our server took over 15 minutes to come to our table. When we finally put our order in, our appetizers (bruschetta and steamers) came out at the same time as our food (fish and chips and lobster ravioli) and left us with no room on the table to even move- we ended up having to balance our steamer shells on the edge of a water fountain. The waiter never came back- my husband ended up not eating most of his fries because he was holding out for condiments that never came. My lobster ravioli was so over cooked that it was rubbery and the sauce tasted burned. It was awful. We aren't sure how this place got voted best outdoor dining. Perhaps it's the only outdoor dining around? By the time we left the appetizer plates were still on the table. This should have been a telltale sign to anyone coming in that they may want to turn around. We would not ever come back here and wish we hadn't spent $100 on burned food and awful service. read more

One of the rudest waitresses we've ever come across. My husband wasn't being served and politely called out to another waitress walking by "Excuse me, excuse me". She glared over at us (not our waitress) and my husband said "I don't know who's serving us but I just wanted to put in for another drink." The old hag waitress retorted back "Well whoever gave you those drinks (the empty ones on our table) is your waitress" and walked off. I ate here recently, I took some Family members out for dinner as my treat. The server was struggling throughout dinner with just general practices and requests. For example, she had a hard time distinguishing between Caesar dressing, on both occasions, I told her to default to ranch. She struggled with filling water glasses upon requests, And so on. I made it a point at the end of the meal to find the manager, which means I had to leave my table, to share with her some of these basic server challenges. I was pleasant, unfortunately, the manager took an aggressive and abrasive approach to me right up front. She clearly wasn't interested in learning about the servers challenges. And finally, I simply left the conversation. I will not return .... Bad service=Bad Reputation in the marketplace. Cape Cod has better to offer. read more

I been coming for years here for dinner and pizza. Their pizza is very good but lately seems like they don't clean their oven often enough therefor the pizza bottom has all these burned crumbs on it. Also I ordered a pepperoni pizza and I asked to only put pepperoni on half of it. So they charge me for plain and add $2.00 for pepperoni. Plain is $17.00 pepperoni is $18.00 and I paid $19.00 for a half pepperoni. I don't know how they figure it out. Add two 8 oz juices to it and the bill was $29.00. I gave her 4 star because I figured that the managers could see this and correct their problems on their own. read more

Three of visited during the week. Restaurant was busy so we sat inside. Was not impressed. Food was average and prices were high Definitely not worth the value. Chicken Parmesan was $23, probably the most expensive I seen. My son always gets Chick Parm and was disappointed, though it was average and not worth the money. My wife and I had a pizza. I would compare the taste to a Dominos pizza, so not a great pizza. We got 3 soft drinks which were completely filled with ice. When removing the ice, the drink was less than 1/3 the glass and we were charged $3 Overall, the place was well over priced for mediocre food. They have a nice outdoor seating, near a fire pit and the wait staff was very good but it does not make up for lack of quality in their food. read more

Don't attempt to visit from out of state. The courtyard does not accept out of state IDs for the sale of alcohol. Per bill Massachusetts Chapter 170 of the Acts of 2012, a business may reasonably rely on Massachusetts ID, passport, or military ID for alcohol purchase, but out of state IDs are not prohibited. We were told they do not accept non-Massachusetts ID, but this policy was not listed anywhere. They did not attempt to communicate with us in the process of verifying the ID, but instead seemed uncertain and did not want to deal with us. We were looking forward to enjoying a pizza and drink but were not able to. read more

Went last night for dinner. Got right in which was nice. Have been here multiple times over the years since I have family in the area. We ordered 6 meals and an appetizer. On memorial day weekend I visited the restuarant with my husband, who is a veteran, and a friend. We ordered lunch and hung out having drinks and catching up. A woman, who we assumed to be the manager, approached us with such an attitude stating that we need to leave because there are reservations for the entire patio and we've been here too long. She was incredibly rude and didn't give us a chance to talk and said leave now, okay (while clapping at us)? Bye. And walked away. We sat for a minute longer wondering what just happened and she came back saying I know you think this is funny but it's not and you need to leave now, and continued to bark at us. Nice atmosphere outdoors but very, very loud. The food is good but not great. My husband didn't love his pizza because he asked for it crispy and it wasn't. I don't eat dairy and unfortunately even the vegetables are cooked in butter. There wasn't much for me aside from the salad I got (which was very good). The warm bread they give is delicious. Service was exceptionally slow. I've been a few times, it's a decent option but I wouldn't go back often. read more
