Portions were noticeably small for the price--nothing scandalous, just enough to make you wonder if this was the warm-up round. The swordfish itself was as middle-of-the-road as it gets. Edible, cooked properly, but carrying the energy of someone doing the bare minimum at their job. The salsa on top, however, was genuinely excellent--bright, balanced, and almost confusingly good compared to the rest of the dish. Asparagus was asparagus. The Caesar was exactly what a takeout Caesar tends to be: resigned to its circumstances. I can't comment on the dining room, but the server who handed off my order was polite and efficient, which I appreciated more than I should. Overall, worth trying once. I'll give it another shot, but next time I'll stick to something they're actually known for--and I'll eat it in-house instead of letting takeout do its usual sabotage.

I had a steak tip salad that, I have to say, was absolutely heavenly. The steak tips were cooked as ordered. Deliciously marinated, buttery tender and nicely seared over a most excellent salad. What makes a salad "most excellent?" you might ask. Well, I'll tell you. It was dressed perfectly. Just the right amount of a flavorful house dressing. Neither dry nor sopping. The generous portions of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, feta cheese, and more were all in a perfect proportion to one another, chopped small enough to render a knife unnecessary, except for the steak tips. Last time in, I chose the Fusilli Mac and Cheese with Pulled Pork. Not only was this extremely good, it was extremely large. It provided dinner for me for two nights. There seem to be a lot of regulars here, at least in the Mondays I've been in. And the place is hopping busy. The music is good. Maybe a little loud, but, hey, I'm old. They're a jovial and friendly lot. And, Becca, the bartender, is super chill. She's friendly, attentive and she mixes a good drink and pulls a good draft. I can see myself becoming a regular!

I have posted photos of it. Inside has that classic Irish pub feel. Cozy, a little tight when it gets busy, but that is part of the charm. It tends to draw a crowd, which is always a good sign. Service was decent. Maybe not the fastest, but always friendly and courteous, which matters more in a place like this. Overall, this is a reliable local spot with good food, solid drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. I am writing this after just a couple of visits, but I am sure I will be back. Two thumbs up. Large windows allowed you to sit and people watch on, what I would imagine is the Main Street for the town. It was Sunday so a little quiet so not a lot people watching today. Food was great and the presentation was a lot more than expected for a tavern. Full bar options and a good list of local craft beers. I love trying local beers when possible. A lot of space for seating during the day and I can only imagine the evening bar scene.
