I feel like it'll get busier during the weekend as around the area are bars and clubs. It is near city hall so you do have a lot of business people but it still wasn't that busy even during lunch time. The place is well maintained and pretty clean and organized. Nice art structure placed throughout the walkway. I don't know much about Riverside but I assume oranges have something to do with it as loads of oranges trees were planted. Could also be just for decoration. There's benches placed along the walkway for seating. Honestly, it's a cute little area but would I check it out again, maybe not. There's not much there. Maybe if I'm out for the night in the area but besides that, there's not much there. I'm not familiar with the area so maybe I'm missing something but it was fine checking it out. There's parking along the street for a fee or at the parking structure nearby.

One of the biggest issues is the lack of designated delivery truck areas, which regularly leads to traffic congestion and makes navigating the center frustrating at times. Pedestrian access is another concern--there's no clear or safe sidewalk connection from Mission Blvd over to Target, so you often find yourself walking directly in traffic lanes, which doesn't feel safe at all. There's also a noticeable shortage of trash cans throughout the property, which impacts cleanliness. And while this center has been open for about a year, it's disappointing that public seating areas still haven't been installed. There aren't really any inviting spaces where people can sit, gather, or just enjoy being there. Overall, it feels like the center was built with retail in mind, but not the full community experience. With some thoughtful improvements--better traffic flow, pedestrian safety, and shared spaces--this could be a much more welcoming and functional destination.

I had five employees interact with me in a few minutes that I was there. They let me try on different belt sizes. They asked me what I was shopping for. It seems like they are trying to be more festive and decorate the mall. There's lots of food options in the food court. Some restaurant surrounding the Tyle Mall too. I think I have eaten at the restaurants outside of the Tyler Mall, more than the food court spots. I do like the Miguels Jr inside the mall. That isn't my favorite Miguels location though. I have come to The Tyler Mall for the AMC many times. Oh, and for the Olive Garden now that I think about it lol That Olive Garden is pretty good, and it's the go to spot for people nearby. The Tyler Mall seems to stay the same. It's always the same retailers, same food court options. It doesn't change. I know the layout like the back of my hand at this point lol I used to run around this mall to do Black Friday shopping lol That was always fun! They have a decent selection of stores. You can find a good value, just look for sales at each location. The parking is always a struggle, but what mall doesn't have parking wars? lol

The clearance racks are 70% off! Found a cashmere sweater for only $20 in a gorgeous burgundy color. Didn't buy it because it was too hot for me to think about buying a sweater no matter the bargain, but I did buy a cute green beaded bracelet and a pair of long dangly earrings with clear spherical and oblong beads for a total cost of $19 . The staff were kind and helpful--one gave me the bathroom code when I needed it, and another helped me sign up for the reward program and pay for my purchases. I think I'll have to go check out the Nordstrom rack in my area sometime, because there are good deals, for shoes too!
