She did tell me the offer wont apply online because I did the trial class but she did not inform me it only applies to the unlimited class. Both the email and over the phone communication had no mention of what membership offer applies to. After my initial trial class, I was interested in signing up for membership. I received an email with a 50% off your first month offer with zero disclaimers or details such as what type of membership offer applies to. When I clicked the link, offer didnt work so I called the gym. Person over the phone said they can apply the offer in person. When I went to class, front desk told me offer only applies to the unlimited membership. I informed her the email and the person I spoke to didnt tell me that. She asked if I would like to join the class while she checks with the manager. After class she confirmed it only applies to unlimited membership. I told her if the email or person over the phone told me then I would have planned this better bc I will be out of town for the next 2 weeks. Ultimately I did not sign up. The lack of clear communication made me concerned about how future situations might be handled and ended up having to pay for the single class price.
