Horrible experience. I came here with a large group (15 people) for drinks. When we walked in the "blond" hostess treys to talk us in to going to a different bar. She said, "it's really crowded and difficult to move, you might want to go somewhere else." Wow! We walked into the bar anyway and found two open tables and plenty of space to move. Our very first night in Amarillo, we decided we would pick up some food and come back to our hotel. Since it was late, not many places were open and we really didn't feel like eating fast food. We came across this place and looked up their menu online. Everything looked delicious so we placed an order. I ordered the Penne Rosette and my husband ordered the chicken fried chicken. One of the only late night food options in Amarillo. We were so happy to find after driving all day! We were greeted and served by Alfonzo who was super friendly and upbeat- his service was stellar. Food was really good and arrived quickly. I loved my turkey burger and my boyfriend really enjoyed his green Chile Philly sandwich. The food was a solid 4 but giving them a 5 because of Alfonzo. We stopped in Amarillo for the night, halfway home, and went out looking for a family friendly place that had more variety than typical fried food, good beer selection, and TVs showing college football games. Wow, J's checked all the boxes and more! The inside is well done, comforting and casual with a clean sports bar feel. The owner actually welcomed us in, offered to change the TV where ever we sat for the right game, and even came by for a little conversation later. We happened to have a new waitress, but she was very helpful, happy to learn, and made my picky daughter's meal perfectly. The menu had a great variety, even for the kids! Our salads were very filling and yummy. The beer list was Texas centric and had something for everyone (and is updated on Untappd). We definitely plan to stop here again, great job! read more

We drove by on the 4th of july while traveling cross country. They have a side patio and were happy to have us and our two dogs for dinner. Interior is much nicer than a 'bar', everyone was super friendly and bathrooms were clean and beautiful. Jim C. It looks like you are the owner of this bar. We are from Florida and have been in Texas for a death in the family for 2 weeks. We have probably spent $300 there; J's became our reprieve and we visited 4 or 5 times in the last couple of weeks. We had good experiences until tonight. Especially from Mia Adams who was our server a couple nights ago. She was wonderful. Tonight we came to your bar and it was a flip situation. There was a line out front. I went around and one of the men guarding the door said we could be seated right away outside, without waiting in the line. We sat down and were served. A couple hours after being there I needed to use the restroom. I was refused access to the restroom because we were sitting outside and was told I would have to re enter from the line out front. As a paying customer having been seated and served; with my husbands credit card and ID being held for our tab. Meanwhile, Adam who works at your restaurant was ushering in women in left and right telling them don't worry about the rules, he would get them in. Women who had just walked up from the parking lot. We have videos of this happening, including Adam consuming alcohol while working and walking out into the parking lot and a very strong smell of marijuana each time. Once someone told him we were videoing, Adam called us out in front of the crowd and told my husband "if I were you, I would delete that video." It was obviously meant as a threat. He then said we needed to leave, and if my husband wanted his card and ID back he had to come inside, they would not bring it out. No workers, including him, were wearing masks, nor were most patrons. Even though the signs on your doors clearly say masks must be worn unless food is being consumed. He MADE my husband come indoors to pay and get his card and ID back, right after I was told I couldn't come in to use the bathroom because we were seated outside. Our tab include 4 drinks we ordered but they refused to serve us. We made it very clear we have already reported your bar to APD. He begged us not to do it, but we already had. We were in fear because he had all the bar backs standing behind him, as well as the guards at the door. We paid our tab and tip, including the 4 drinks they would not serve us and we were told we had better never show up there again. This bar is in violation of ever order, as well as what you have taped to your windows. Now on top of that paying, law abiding customers have been humiliated and threatened. We HAVE reported this and have plenty of video to show everything i am saying. All of this started because a paying customers who had been there for 2 hours needed to use the restroom. read more

What a great spot to eat at last minute when your plane lands 1 hr late and nothing is open after 10pm! Excited to see that they were open, I ordered a chicken Caesar salad to go. The waitress Angelina was the most polite and professional waitress I've had the pleasure of having in a long time. If I could give no stars I would. We had a steak and asked for medium and the middle was still raw. They took it back and burnt it and It was still RAW in the middle. The manager on shift did not care. We asked if their was suppose to be toast with it and he said "we don't usually bring the toast with it because people don't eat it and we don't want to waste food if we don't have too". -_- it was wheat toast and was smashed. seriously. I would love to be able to give this place a good review. Unfortunately we were unable to dine there. They say open until 2:00. We pop in at about 1:20. A male server talking to a table looks right at us. We seat ourselves per the sign. Server continues casual conversation with his table. Female staff member (guessing server?) comes to clean a nearby table. Looks at us. Says nothing. Maybe not her section? We sit for about 5 mins. No big deal. Male server comes over and apologizes that they have already done last call. I get it. My problem is that he couldn't be bothered to tell us when we walked in the door. Last call over 30 mins before closing on a Friday night, it's a stretch. Letting us sit for a bit instead of telling us when we walk in? bad form. One of my favorite places to eat, their new menu is so good. I had buffalo wings for an appetizer and it was so fresh and flavorful. My main dish was a stuffed jalapeño cream cheese burger and a salad. It was so good the burger was cooked to perfection. My salad was fresh. I asked the owner and manager and they said everything is scratch made from the kitchen. I knew there was a fresh sense to it. I will definitely be coming back. Try the wings!! read more
