Can't give them 1 star because I didn't get to eat any food. Yelp said the 6th location was open but I called before going and they are closed on Sundays. They sent us to the beer and wine garden location. Tried to call ahead but they just sent the call to voicemail. Headed in and found a table as it's seat yourself, the table was dirty so we asked if they could clean it and the food runner said they would get on it. At that point the bar tender/server turned around and said they are completely out of everything, all food, there is nothing left. Interesting lie but maybe they are actually that bad of planning they could actually run out of burgers, fries and everything else on their menu.... Reviews of this place we're on point and I was looking forward to the "best burger in Amarillo". Oh well, maybe you'll have better luck. read more

Great food, environment, and service! My party enjoyed our food, which was made exactly how we liked it. Of course, I had to get an egg on mine; that was made perfect! We enjoyed the company around us. The staff was consistently helpful and courteous. We ate inside, and everything was clean. I Wouldn't recommend it. Service was bad the girl had a bad attitude from the start . she left our burgers sitting till they were cold and she forgot to add the bacon to them . Ive been going there for over 10 years and sad to leave a bad review . but the its seems like there's no heart in there food or service . read more

Not bad but just bit short of being good. The burgers were good though they took a little while. While they have a kids menu, they don't have any high chairs so we spent a bit more of our meal chasing around a little one than eating. Staff were kind though and were patient with us. I think adding a kids meal burger and high chair or two would make this a great local spot in this part of town! I'll definitely come back but probably not with kids read more

Really wanted to enjoy this place. But didn't. Well done only burgers available, took about 40 minutes to get and it wasn't busy, limited menu, they were out of almost every local wine/beer option. Served in plastic mugs and wine glasses, order was wrong and burger was cold when it came out. The decor was really cool. Bummer. Hope it gets better. read more

Pretty disappointed in this place. Out of our three burger orders (that took nearly 45 minutes to get) one was completely wrong, one had a patty that was burnt and the other combo came with cold fries. They were not busy at all when we got there so I'm not sure what took so long. For the food we got, it was definitely overpriced as well. read more

We decided on golden light beer garden last night. The food was delicious! I was a bit disappointed at the limited menu vs the original location that is only a few blocks away from us. I really wanted the habanero burger sadly they don't offer that or my second favorite being all the way to la or half way to Albuquerque. A few other items also. The gentlemen taking orders at the food truck seemed to be having an off day as he asked multiple times who wanted what. I had the green chili burger with mustard and no onions. The wife had a regular cheese burger. Swiss cheese and no tomato. With cheese added to her fries. Food was ready in a timely manner. Only hiccup was my plain fries on her plate. Not a big deal but considering we were the ONLY customers inside or outside. Anyways the staff was friendly. Got our drinks and headed back to the patio. Lighting was nice. Music good. The outdoor seating is extremely appealing to the eye besides cig butts on the crushed granite. Which looks awesome but a horrible choice. Small sharp rocks get under sandals. It tracks onto the stairs creating a slip hazard. Also it will stick to your footwear then ultimately inside your vehicle. Sorry for getting of topic. Did I mention the food was great!!! The plant material such as Russian sage will need trimmed frequently taking away the pretty flowers. They also attract bees. If you are allergic take note. Then the sprinkler heads are another trip hazard. To sum things up. Friendly staff. Awesome food yet limited menu. Beautiful patio with a bad landscape design for the long run. Couple safety issues. Inside was nice and clean. Parking is so so. Draft mic ultra was $4 a bit high for me. Wife had black label jack D $5 per shot. A bit high considering they have macallen 12 year for $7 per shot... one more thing.... Put ashtrays outside and a trash can! Food is 4 star. Patio is a 2.5-3. Inside a 3.5-4. We won't be back as the original location is super close to home. Hope this location makes it. Overall we say a solid 3-3.5 stars. $$ on food and $$$ on adult beverages. read more

Just to begin, the burgers were good. Aside from them adding mayo to what stated mustard burgers on the menu (and I am allergic to mayo). They gave no notice of mayo on the burgers, but fixed it upon my request. They were out of 2/3 kids menu items such as chicken wheels and mini corn dogs so our son had nothing to eat there. We were told we would get a phone call when food was ready. After 20 min. and people getting orders who arrived after us, we went outside to check on the orders. The food was sitting there ready and getting cold. The food truck guy said he was just about to call us; which is debatable since they were already cooking other orders on grill. Our fries were cold, hard, burnt, and un-seasoned, and felt like they had been sitting at least 10 min. There was no ketchup inside on tables and the one bottle we found on other end of restaurant was empty. We got a few squirts between the 3 of us out of it but since there is no waiter, we did not ask for another bottle. The fries were not eaten by any of us anyway because they were hard and cold. My husband's "hickory burger" which boasted grilled onions on the menu had no grilled onions. Overpriced considering we only had burgers and drinks, and all the things that went wrong. We wanted a nice dine-in experience but did not know we had to go out back in the wind to order from a food truck and then later pick up food. Wish it had said this on the website. Unfortunately we will not be back. Maybe they just had an off day, but there were only 2 or 3 parties inside eating, so it should not have been this "off". read more

This is a great little neighborhood bar! I love the location, and it has yummy food -besides all the great drinks, beer and wine. Have hung out with friends here during the day and at night several times. We always have a good time here and the staff has been friendly and welcoming. Also, the other patrons were very pleasant, which is a plus! One of my new fave places!! read more

The Golden Light Beer & Wine Garden is absolutely one of my favorite places to grab a burger and a beer! The burgers are the tastiest burgers in town with toasted buns and the fries are to die for! Not only is the food great but the atmosphere inside has a unique nostalgic feel and the Beer and Wine garden is perfectly set for a warm evening outside.
