Being in town, I decided to check this place out, it's been quite a while I've been here. DUDE, workers here are lazy and rude. They obviously do not pay attention to any of their surroundings and it baffles me. Walked in and was not even greeted, it's fine with me here. I don't really pay much attention to greeting at a retail compare to a restaurant. However; I've noticed the workers, about 3 of them in the store, in one spot folding and talking it up with one another. I'm not even sure if they're paying much attention to who comes in and out of their store. As I was about to pay so I stood in line, hoping one of them would notice me but no! At this point I was sort of annoyed so I was walking in front of them back and forth slowly and FINALY heading back to the cashier they notice. As I walked to the register, one of them decided to actually do their job and ring me up. She was giving so much attitude by the tone of her voice, it was crazy. these high school kids. I was going to put everything down and leave but I chose not to. After ringing me up, the lady just gave me my receipt and didn't even say anything after. If this is how they are in everyday basis, I rather take my money elsewhere. read more

Can't say I'm surprised by the experience of customer service after looking at these other reviews. Went in today, browsed around and then I hear so much gossip from the employees. I get being comfortable to talk to your coworkers about anything, but I don't think that's appropriate to openly say such unnecessary opinions or the latest drama in front of customers. They were definitely caught up in their conversation since I walked past them a few times trying to get a fitting room, but it seemed like I was intruding in their conversation. Only reason it's three stars is because Tiffany was the only one out of everyone there that actually helped me out. I feel like this store and the service would head in the right direction if she were the manager. read more

WORST customer service I've ever received! From the second I walked into the store, I noticed that all the teammates were crowded around the same spot, pretending to not see any customers that were in store. I let it slide at first, but then I was standing at the fitting rooms for over 5 minutes with my hands full of product and nobody noticing me. I finally went over to them to ask for a fitting room, and the girl looked at me like I was an inconvenience to her! Even when I went to check out at the register, same thing! Employees were so rude and do not care about their customers! This management needs to get their act together and either set a better example for their team, or hire better teammates, because shoppers should not be neglected and feel like they are an inconvenience by being in the store! The customer service here is horrific! I bought both a large and extra large size in leggings last December since it was packaged and I couldn't try it on without breaking the package in the store which I can't. They wouldn't refund me for the extra pair that didn't fit. I tried to say I won't know if it fits if I don't try it on. The manager wouldn't listen so I was stuck with a pair of leggings I can't use. Today, I went in again. They said the dressing room was closed so I tried to quickly try on a tee shirt over my tak top and one worker told me to leave the store or she'd have me escorted out. Really? I wasn't trying to steal or do anything inappropriate . I quickly guessed my size and told her I'd be taking what's in my hand. I told them zi didn't know they close the dressing room at 6:50 or that the store closes at 7. The other Associate said it depends on the day. I am wondering if based on the reviews, a BBB report is warrented. Now I am hesitant to buy anything there! read more

Late review but I WAS NOT going to forget to give the Aeropostale in Stockton their acknowledgement! First of I drove all the way from Modesto in the rain to get some items that were not available in the Modesto store and was complaining about driving but I wanted what I wanted LOL. So for starters, AS SOON as my mom and I walked in the store we were greeted by a store associate named Tony!!! LET ME TELL YA'LL he is a WHOLE VIBE!!! He is funny, attentive, knows the store well, had GREAT customer service but also professional. He helped my mom and I with all type of items. He even went above and beyond to help us with items that we were looking for but were told were no longer available, but were!!! The part I liked is even though he was helping BOTH of us, he still greeted all customers as they walked in. Tony would even go assist others but came back to finish helping us. He kept us laughing but at the same time assisting with our Christmas shopping. While he was assisting another customer, a young lady (sorry I did not get your name, but she had black straight hair and it was pulled back in a ponytail) was also amazing. She was folding clothes and heard what I was looking for and brought over a shirt that was EXACTLY my style (and I bought it too LOL). Her Customer service was great as well. I know for a fact that I will be back to do some shopping at this location!!! I am not really a big fan of Aeropostale's clothing because I am tall and they are not tall girl friendly but they do have really good quality shirts and hoodies. BUT the customer service here is what is drawing me to come back. Tony's customer service was so good that I asked for the store manger and she was actually in store, her name was Tiffany. Thank you Tiffany for taking your time to take in feedback from our visit to your store. People always get on here and report the bad customer service but never the positive visits or service. Aeropostale Located in the Weberstown Mall in Stockton, CA (209) 952-2587 I for one don't really shop here, but when we do come to Aeropostale, it's for my eldest daughter. The clothes that are sold here are for the younger generation. Teens and early 20's, well I can probably see some 30 plus still living La Vida loca rocking Aeropostale gear. Nothing wrong with that at all. You're as old as you feel. What I noticed about this practiular visit. Was the customer service. I was greeted by an female associate as soon as I walked in and told her "what's crackN"?? Meanwhile my daughter is shopping, I'm just browsing around and taking pictures. Another female associate " Jenna" I believe that was her name. Started to search for some shirts with my daughter. She helped out and was cool about it. I've been to places and sometime people are unwilling to help. Thank you for the help :) So my daughter picked out some new work shirts and I was ready to roll. When it was all said and done and time to cash out. The male cashier asked if anyone helped us out? I told him the younger girl in the back. He took note. I thought maybe for commission or something. But Aeropostale takes notes of how many people their employees take care of. That's what I was told, when I asked why?? Didn't get into further details. I also found out that this location is now an outlet. So mad slashes on the prices. For those who never been to an Aeropostale. Seriously you would think they're customer service would improve maybe just an eensy weensy bit, but no I gave them many chances to make a better impression on me but they still suck. I just walked in to buy some shorts, found what I was looking for, went to the cashier. And no one was there. So I stood there waiting . . . at least 2 of the staff looked at me, didn't say anything, walked away. Then one girl came by and asked if I was ready, ("No I'm just standing here") so the next thing she did made me think wtf. So I was ready right? And here was this girl AT the cash register. And you know what she does? Yells at her coworker who is all the way in front of the store, to come help me . . . "HEY insert name COME RING UP THIS CUSTOMER! HEY whoever! HEY CAN YOU HEAR ME?" Dude it took me forever to get rung up. So after that and what happened before, I can pretty much say this store lacks quality customer service and help. I agree with the other reviews that their customer service is poor. When I was at the store I observed this one sales person who was putting merchandise in its place and she was like making the customers feel that they were on her way. The customers were like standing waiting for her to finish her job so they can brouse some items. I was brousing some items and she said excuse me as if she was telling me that I was on her way. She should wait and let customers brouse and not the other way around to let customers wait until she would not be on the way. No wonder that even though the store was on sale there were only a few customers. Their sales personnel need to attend a customer service seminar. read more

This place lucks of custom services.A girl name Sipp is the worst cashier I ever know as in luck of customer services.I went to the store after work to return or let say I was just going to exchange for another size .there was 3 people in line ahead of me it toke 15 minutes for her to help me and top of that When it came to my turn That SIPP walk away like thers nobody waiting for her. She walk away to chit chat on her damn co worker.5 minutes later she came back while still talking to her co worker in the sense of there yelling to each other.when she rang me up that girl ddnt even say anything evn a hi or hello which supposed to be should be.and after that I went to get a different size and I ask one of them if I can try it on.believe me it took them another 10 min just to open the damn dressing room..Ok the size did fit me I was going to get 2 more pairs of sweats but as I look around fr colors this SIPP was looking not me like she doesn't want me in the store' So guess what I decided to keep my money and don't buy shit from that store.I will never walk in or shop on that store. read more
