I call around, and the Barstow Appliance came to my rescue. I don't know if this was the owner or an employee, but he was a lifesaver. He brought me a loaner refrigerator, so all my food didn't spoil, and yes the day before I went shopping, and bought a lot of meat from Purdy's. We arranged for Monday for the device tech to come out. Monday comes, I get a call saying good morning our tech is on his way. The tech was on time, professional, checked out what was wrong, gave me an estimate to fix the refrigerator, and my husband, and I decided to buy a new refrigerator as the cost to fix it was high. We go over to the store, and buy a very nice used refrigerator that was refurbished. The employees were fantastic. The following day the refrigerator was delivered, and they took the old refrigerator away. Again the 3 employees were very polite, and friendly. They left the loaner for me for another 3 days, and I called and asked them to pick up the liner refrigerator. What can I say? The service was phenomenal, all the empowered polite, friendly, and yes professional. I will definitely buy again from Barstow Appliance. Another note: I thought this was posted 5 months ago, and it wasn't, it was in the draft box. I still stand by everything I said above. I was able to find the replacement part on eBay for a reasonable price, install it myself, and now our washer works perfectly. What really impressed me was their honesty and professionalism. Many companies will still charge you even if they can't figure out the problem. The Appliance Guys, however, were willing to forgo payment if they couldn't diagnose the issue. That level of integrity is exactly why we chose their company, and we're glad we did.

He was professional, knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed the problem. What really stood out to me was that he also noticed an issue with the ice maker and took the time to fix it, even though I hadn't originally expected or asked him to take care of it. He really went the extra mile, and I appreciated the effort and attention to detail. The refrigerator has been working great ever since. With a previous repair done by another technician, the fix only lasted a few months to maybe a year before the problem came back. This repair, however, has continued to hold up for several years and is still working great today. That really says a lot about the quality of Jose's work. Received a window for the next day between 9-12. Tech arrived at 12:15. He diagnosed the problems and told me he would have to get back to me with an estimate as he needed to find the exact cost of the parts and that I would have the estimate by 5:00pm that day. No estimate came. Called the office at 9:00 and was told they would have the tech contact me right away. When noon rolled around and no response I called the office again. This time no one answered so I left a message. They obviously received it as shortly thereafter I got a text with some excuses but telling me it was being prepared and he would send it ASAP. Again, received nothing. I effectively wasted an entire day waiting for an estimate that never came. Now I have to start all over again with a different company. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Totally useless.
