He was clear about the service call fee (which is to be expected with tradesmen) but it would be applied toward the cost of the repair if I decided to proceed. I was considering purchasing a new dryer from either Lowe's or Home Depot if the cost of the repair was high. He opened up the dryer and quickly found the problem - a broken belt. The part was difficult to find because of my brand of dryer. He was back within the hour with the part and had my drying humming along perfectly. Cost of the repair was less than I would have paid in taxes, had I decided to purchase a new dryer. Glad I called. I would highly recommend James and his small business. I will definitely be calling him for all my appliance repairs.

I had a cordless Dyson animal vacuum and it gradually lost power. I called Carl and told him what I wanted and that it was important for me to purchase local so that I could get it repaired and maintained. My sister has the same vacuum and loves hers. Carl was the nicest person, threw in a free maintenance and helped me with the purchase!! On top of it he has great cleaning supplies in stock. This review is intended for Yelpers to form their own opinions. When I first spoke with Jose from Appliance Repair over the phone, I was impressed by his professional, patient, friendly, and knowledgeable demeanor. Despite reaching out to several other appliance repair companies, I found Jose's pricing to be competitive. His communication was excellent, as he kept me informed of his arrival time via text. While fixing my gas dryer, Jose shared a bit about his life, which helped build a rapport with me as a client. He ran a diagnostic to check the igniter, which was in good condition, and he was able to make the necessary repairs in a timely manner. However, after he left, I noticed that the dryer was not spinning with the clothes inside. I contacted Jose about the issue, and he promptly returned to fix it. Unfortunately, the heat continued to turn off even after resetting the dryer. I reached out to Jose again, and he offered to fix the issue for the cost of labor and parts. After some back-and-forth about the pricing, we agreed on terms, and Jose came the following morning to make the necessary repairs. Ultimately, we settled on me paying for the parts only. While the service provided by Jose was ultimately satisfactory, there were some hiccups along the way that left a bit of a sour taste for both parties. Hello my name is Johnnie G from Whittier. Joses Appliances Repair was spot on great service. The technician troubleshot and repair the MAYTAG dryer same day and went above and beyond cleaning the dryer. Gave me and my wife recommended washing machine to purchase since it was over 12 years old and it would be a waste of money to repair for the water leaks. But the dryer still have some time left. I had a great experience with José. My refrigerator was intermittently leaking water from the water dispenser. I reached out to José and agreed to come out the next day. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly. He said that since I was local to the area that he'd be willing to send a technician out later than normally, which first off is amazing customer service. We agreed on a time of when I would be home and sure enough, right on the dot. The technician was at my house ready with everything that he needed. He came in very professionally asked where the unit was and began working once I explained what the situation was going on with the dryer. After about 15 minutes, he told me exactly what was wrong, the thermostat went out on the dryer and he was going to verify if they had a replacement part inside of the truck. The whole repair took less than 45 minutes, from fully disassembling, the dryer, finding the issue, and fixing the thermostat, while also completely putting together the dryer all over again and testing that the heating element was working properly. I was originally going to go with one of the repair teams that my dryers manufacturer recommended, but Mr. Vic and his team absolutely blew the price out of the water. This is the first time, and definitely not the last time, that I would be calling Mr. Vicks to Service any of my appliances. You have definitely earned a customer for the long haul.

To my surprise I got a message back from Bruce, asking what was going on with my machine, make and model. After I respond he sets a time for 9am-10am. Which works out perfectly for me. He showed up very professional his tools and all and got to work to diagnose my machine. He lets me know what is going on and that my washer is working at the moment but lets me know it's pretty much on the way out and was unable to give me a definite time frame when it will definitely go completely out. He didn't try to upsell me anything he told me exactly what was going on, and that it might not be worth putting in the money to fix it. I appreciated what he said and value his honesty and recommend him to help with any washer needs. He charged me $49 for the diagnostics he did and the visit, which had I decided to do the work would have gone to the total.

When my parents very old dryer stopped working, we reached out to that company and asked specifically for Fedor. When we found out, he no longer worked for the company, we were very disappointed. I just randomly put Fedor's name into yelp, and luckily his name came up as he just started his own company. We reached out to him and we're very happy to find that he was the same person and we hired him to fix my parents dryer. He came out in a timely manner to see the dryer and diagnosed it. He could've charged an arm and a leg to fix it but he was honest with his diagnosis. He ordered the parts which weren't easy to find on hand as the dryer is very old, but he got the parts within a few days and now the dryer is running great again. Fedor is an absolute gem in the world of appliance repair and he is the only person we would go to for help on any of our appliances. He also gives free estimate which we find beyond helpful.
