It is very hard to find an honest trustworthy mechanic that you can trust. This shop has great mechanics that know what they are doing with your car, won't upsell you on things you don't need and will give you a fair price. I needed some major work done on my car but Eric was able to do a "temporary fix" until I get enough money to fully fix my issue. This shop has been here for almost 40 years. Family owned and a trusted mechanic shop in the community. Their lobby is super clean, comfortable and modern. You could chill here the entire time if you needed be to do work on your laptop, get a snack in their vending machine, grab some coffee and watch TV. They were so efficient they had my car ready in half a day. And a BONUS: They provided me a ride to and from work so I didn't need to get my own Uber or bother a friend or family member to pick me up and drop me off. Chino Autotech arranged my ride. This business was referred by my husband's co worker. My car's AC had issues, they were able to make it work the first time I brought it. But they wanted to ensure nothing was leaking. When they determined that nothing was leaking, they wanted to further investigate because the AC is still not functioning 100%. But they couldn't find anything when they inspected. They didn't charge me for that. Most auto shops charge you for anything or will try to find something to charge you for. Also, customer service is great. Kyle and Eric are honest and kind. I took my car in as it was making a squeaky sound seems to be coming from the front end; after two days, the shop called me to pick up the car. while driving home, the car was pulling to the right, which it didn't when I took it in. Chino Autotech has been very honest and have done major work on my old Acura. They fix it right and follow up to make sure you are happy with their work. I did have to take my car back after having a blown head gasket repaired and they didn't even charge me for extra work they did to make it right. Recently I needed my air conditioner leak fixed. Came here for a smog check to register an out-of-state vehicle. They were very informative and professional the whole time. I was offered water & coffee while I was in their waiting room with a/c. They told me it would take 45 min to an hour, but only took 30 minutes to complete. I would highly recommend coming here for your smog needs. read more

Amazing service! Couldn't be happier. Last month my battery died on me on the freeway and I was able to my car towed through AAA to chino autotech immediately and got my new battery installed very fast. I've been having other car issues for a while, I have an old Toyota that has over 200K miles on it. I dropped it off this week to have them do some repairs and not only were they speedy getting this work done, they also were very thorough and honest about what needed to be done now and what could wait a little bit while I save up some money. My spark plugs were replaced and as well as receiving an oilchange and they checked for a fuel leak which was not found thank goodness. Erik, Andy, and Erik's dad were so helpful, kind and friendly. Their prices were very reasonable compared to a lot of other shops in the area. It's so important to have a kind and honest mechanic. My engine light was on for the longest time after engine diagnosis I needed an oxygen sensor and recommended the alternator replaced. Also had a smog check done. Service advisors Andie and Eric very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Explained to me the parts they going to use and warranty that's included. After getting my 22 year old Suburban repaired it definitely runs smoother. This shop has been around over two decades had gotten work done here before I believe their long time mechanic took over the business. It's the same great service ,warranty and is AAA approved.
