Sofa bed was very lumpy so it was good enough for a small kid, definitely not comfy for an adult. Everything in room was clean. It said we had a kitchenette which consisted of a mini fridge, sink, and low powered microwave. NO kitchenware. However, the person at front desk found some bowls for us. Made use of the large indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and wet sauna. The dry sauna didn't work. The fitness room only had a few machines but was enjoyed by other guests. It's located further from the downtown area which was fine for us as we wanted something quieter. There are several American restaurants within walking distance. Good value. Service was a bit non-responsive by phone but good in person.

Our king sized room has a somewhat separate area from the bed with a couch, table, fridge, sink, microwave. (Coffee maker too if that's your thing). The free breakfast is not good. I mean REALLY not good. The hard boiled eggs in the prepackaged two pack like you can get at a gas station is the only thing worth grabbing. Just plan on going to McDonald's next door in the morning. Haven't used the pool but the smell of chlorine hits you when you walk into the hotel. Front desk is always pleasant. We will continue staying here twice a year every year.

The recent stay was an improvement for sure! Keep in mind that this is a budget motel, not a hotel,…read morethere are no amenities, no breakfast. Just a clean room, a quiet stay, a decent bed, at a decent price. *Bring your own hairdryer or ask the front desk for a loaner. The rate on Expedia was much better than booking direct with the motel which is a little odd. The room itself was a step up from the last visit due to it being "pet friendly" (+$15/night); laminate flooring instead of nasty carpet *yay* The beds were comfortable enough. The sheets and towels were clean. Heater worked fine. Water is nice and hot. The "smart TV" was broken and we had to have the manager come to our room and give us a different remote; one that works with google TV. He said this is an ongoing problem that is caused by guests attaching an HDMI cable to the TV *good to know*. Expedia has better pricing than their own website: $54 for the room (double queens) + $15 for the pet per night. The ice machine was working. No amenities. Short drive to OIT and walking distance to the Amtrak Train Station.

I called back 6 days prior to checking in to CANCEL my reservation, once again I never got an email regarding the cancellation and THEY CHARGED MY CARD anyways as a no show. Complete B.S!!! The manager talked over me when I asked why they did that, was rude and didn't offer any sort of apology or anything. A big reason I didn't stay here was because I had visions of bed bugs crawling on me because I DID NOT get a good vibe from this place upon first contact. Take your chance on a crappy stay and being charged even if you cancel your reservation.

If you're looking for a small, clean room with just the very basics, this one works well. Nothing fancy nor extra, just a small bar of soap, a few packets of shampoo/conditioner, and very tiny, flimsy plastic glasses. No in-room coffee maker, but a small fridge and microwave are there. Getting something to watch on the TV was a challenge, it first displayed an error message about not having service and contact your provider. After monkeying around with it for awhile, I was able to start at channel 2 and only go up from there, as the down channel buttons didn't work. Upon checking out of the room, I found the channel guide in the nightstand drawer. Oh well. On the positive side, I was looking for a cheap place to sleep after driving all day from Portland. And that's what I got. The queen bed was very comfy, didn't find any bugs anywhere, the towels weren't too scratchy, the AC and toilet worked just fine, the single chair and small table were sufficient for this single occupant, and there's a Applebee's one street over. I left early so I didn't sample the coffee in the lobby, so no comment about that. The internet connection was OK, didn't bomb out and seemed solid. If you're looking for fancy, this ain't it. If you just want a place to crash for the night, and don't mind a small room for one or maybe two people in a pinch, this just might be the perfect solution for a brief overnight.

We were given the option of 1st, 2nd or 3rd Floor which was nice. We chose ground level this time, our room was small but cozy perfect for us. There was a decent sized bathroom, a queen bed, closet, desk, tv, fridge & microwave. The room had a bench seat in the window which I loved. I chose to hang out there for a bit. It was comfortable and we could see our vehicle from the window. The bedroom had a large mirror as a backdrop with bright lights, it was perfect for someone to do their makeup if the bathroom was in use etc. The bed was comfortable, and we had plenty of pillows. The down side of the rooms being small is you can hear the tv from the next room through the walls. And unfortunately for us the alarm clock from the opposite room that went off from about 530 - 930ish when housekeeping went in and shut it off. The only other issue w3 ran into was the side door closest to our rooms key reader was down so we had to walk around to get back in the building. The location was great for our trip and the hotel was clean and nice, and the staff was all friendly. Overall a good experience.

Can't say enough good things about Cynthia! I don't know if she's the manager, the night manager,…read moreor what, but she is absolutely the best. And if she's not the manager or the night manager, she should be! I booked this hotel on my way through Oregon through the IHG app. I like the IHG group of hotels and I had no issues with this hotel it's exactly what you would expect from IHG hotels and Holiday Inn Express. But will really set this place apart was, again, Cynthia! When I showed up she was friendly and courteous. There were other people waiting to check in and she handled all of our tasks professionally and deftly, I wasn't waiting for very long! Then, there was an issue with my room and Cynthia was able to accommodate me getting into a different room. Then I made a mistake with my key card and Cynthia helped me out with the most wonderful attitude. And finally helped me get settled into my room for the night. Checking into hotel can be stressful, especially when there's something that goes wrong, and especially when you make a mistake with misplacing your key card. Cynthia took all the stress out of that situation and really helped me out. The breakfast in the morning was a little limited, but the server was very friendly and helpful! So again, this hotel is great, but the star of the show here is definitely Cynthia!

I'll come back to that, the rooms were supposed to be two kings, but were actually two doubles, the toilet was loose and slid around, the coffee maker didn't work, there was no soap in the public bathroom, the breakfast was cold and terrible, bacon tasted like it was pre-salted. you could not eat it! only one coffee machine worked in breakfast room and lastly the hot tub had so much chlorine it burned your eyes sitting in it. I am not going into Stephanie again, but just know that because of her attitude the IGH hotel app gave me a free night anywhere globally. Thank you Joy for being a nice person who should be in customer service because you are great!
