I don't understand why the 1 star reviews back to back for this company which leads me to believe they're businesses trying to get them to pay to remove negative reviews. This couple have helped my wife and I on two of our home inspections and will be helping on our next one next year. They have saved us from headaches that we would have incurred had we proceeded to purchase the homes inspected. They have a combined experience of 60 years in home inspections and are certified master inspectors. They were incredibly detailed in their inspection and even go the step beyond to educate us on what to look for when home buying. Horrible experience. These inspectors were nothing short of unprofessional and outright negligent. They inspected our house and when we came in after they took 3 HOURS to complete (told us it would take 1.5, and every realtor we have talked to since has said that is completely unacceptable and that they have never heard of an inspection taking that long, even houses that are falling apart) everything was disheveled. Lights were left on all over the house, cabinets were left open, some sort of spray or something was all over our furniture, patio and interior furniture was pushed all around and not replaced. They turned off the regular pool timer and left it running nonstop. But the worst is that they left every door and window unlocked, which they did not mention to us and we were literally sleeping in our home for two full days before we realized this, and anyone could have come in. We left our teen children and pets home alone, not knowing this. It's criminal. On top of all of that, they turned our AC down to 61 upstairs and did not turn back up, which we also were unaware of, because our master suite is downstairs. Not only did this cost us a ton of money for these 2 days, but it also caused our pipes to freeze and could have flooded our home. He also left our patio sliding doors slightly open so our AC downstairs was cooling the patio, which cost us additional money. Unbelievably unprofessional and negligent. We will be contacting our attorney about damages. We additionally witnessed the man ask the buyers on our home to hold the ladder for him as he went up to look at the roof, which is obviously not their job and dangerous, and could have resulted in him falling on our property. Especially ridiculous given that his wife colleague was there and could have assisted him. Homes should be left in the state they were found when inspectors come in. Ours was in a state of disarray and chaos. He berated us for having cameras in our own house (which we use to monitor our dogs when we are gone), I assume because he didn't like that he might be recorded. If someone is doing a professional job, it shouldn't matter if there are cameras or not. Places of business have cameras and those don't get turned off while jobs like this are done, so this is no different. Frankly, I am glad we have the inside and outside cameras now, because we have proof of what was done to our home. We fully believe he was out to be vindictive on our inspection because of the cameras and because he didn't like that we questioned why he had other people in our home unattended (we did not know who the buyers were at the time). Just terrible. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Very easy to talk to and he would always ask if there was anything specific that you would like him to put eyes on. If there were any issues, he would let you know on the spot. Dennis came in with all of the bravado and ego of a person that had just been awarded a medal of honor. I guess it was to distract me and the realtor and convince us that he actually was doing his best work, which he did not. Just a few months after his review of a condo that I purchased and had him inspect, 2 major issues came to light, and at least one of them should have been caught by him during the inspection. Just so we're clear, the purpose of a home inspection is to ensure that the property you are purchasing does not in fact have any outstanding issues that should be amended or mitigated by the seller. One of the issues is ongoing, and luckily my HOA has a bond with a company that is working through the issue, but the other ended up costing me $600, and when the plumber (from a very reputable, large company) came to fix it, he told me definitively that this would have been caught if the inspector would have simply turned the faucet on. Imagine that, a home inspection where you turn on all of the faucets in showers and sinks. In summary, I urge you to pass on this inspector. In my follow up dealings with him, he showed his unprofessional disposition, and confrontational personality, which is something that NO ONE should ever have to deal with. I asked for my money back, which would have covered half of the cost of the busted valve and leaking shower faucet that he missed, and you would have thought I insulted someone in his family. Just a real jerk, and you should NEVER have to go through an experience like I did with this man. Please, for your own peace of mind, pass on this home inspection company. There are plenty of good ones out there that will actually apologize and treat you like an unsatisfied customer if they do something wrong ... and not like someone that they want to get into a bar room fight with. read more

Dennis and Karla were nothing less than perfectly professional and prompt in all their home inspection services. Their attention to even the smallest of details was most appreciated as my wife and myself attempt to purchase our first home. I am a teacher and was unable to be there during the inspection, but Dennis was kind enough to explain over the phone how the inspection would be conducted before the date settled upon. His bluntness, combined with his humor, put me at ease and quelled any trepidations on not being present at the time of the inspection. Afterwards, he called to provide a thorough explanation of the report in which he emphasized any and all areas that needed to be addressed concerning the house before we moved forward with the purchase.
