I activated my account online, which was so fast and easy. Not 2 minutes later a nice young man (who I forgot his name ) called me and asked me if I had any questions. He was very friendly and helpful. Today, I went into the office to get my storage information, location and help. The gentlemen who called me was there, along with a nice young lady (who I also didn't catch her name with red hair) assisted me very quickly. Once she gave me my info and showed me the location of my unit on a giant map on the wall (which was a great idea) she jumped on the golf cart and met me at my unit. I must say, so far, excellent service. The grounds are clean, look very secure and easy to access. I am extremely impressed and happy with my choice of business to store my items. Stopped by after reading such good reviews. Was greeted by Stephanie who helped us figure out which storage would be best for us. She showed us the different sizes and asked us which location and size we preferred. She was very nice and even gave us packing tips for some of our breakable items. Definitely would give more than 5 stars to A-1 Self Storage! Stephanie went above and beyond for my sister and I!! She was very helpful and friendly when I came in to get my storage but besides that she did something not everyone would do. I accidentally dropped my uhaul key in the elevator shaft and could not get it back unless I paid $300+ out of pocket for the maintenance company to come out or other companies to come out and give me another key and tow the uhaul I had. We left our purses and phone inside our uhaul locked so she let us borrow her phone to call the roadside assistance and created a stick to try and retrieve the key back which SHE DID!! We would have paid hundreds of dollars for dropping the key. I cannot believe she would go out of her way for us like that she's so so awesome!! Completely forgot about this place.... A few years ago when i closed my warehouse down, i needed some space and since this is close to my domain, i chose them and didn't regret it. Here are some key points why to choose this storage than others. I hope to give favorable insights since I come from a business standpoint rather than personal items storage... 1. The ceiling appears higher giving more room to stack (at least with a 20x10 footer). 2. The gates are 35% higher than other places along with the feel of tighter security. 3. The area is safer. 4. The driving radius is a bit wider. I had to utilize a truck and trailer to move my molds around so this helps a lot~! 5. It's a square meaning you don't have to do austin powers here. 6. Staff is accommodating and pleasant. 7. Prices were reasonable. Back in 2011, the 20x10 footer was appx $200/month. When I needed a smaller space, they were accommodating as humanely possible even though i didn't need to swap. I encourage others to check this place out if it's convenient enough location for you. I'm positive, they will provide the best service they can without the feeling of being rushed or the GTFO attitude. read more

I needed a place to store a bunch of crap, mostly cause my family are ratpacks (soooo annoying).... Got a smaller unit, 10x5 or some crap and it runs for $80 or so.... There isn't much else to say! the place is often clean, organized and filled with good staff. The staff does their best to stay out of your way, but appear available without feeling lost or abandoned. The facility is decent size & the current construction on C-Wealth is a pain in the ass, but for the most part, this storage facility is easily accessible for those who choose to utilize the service. As for crime, the fence is obvious and these follks do their best to deter shady behavior. The layout is like on big square and you can sorta tell if someone doesn't belong. I mean... How many of you folks, even when drunk, don't know where your apartment is??????????? I hope this helps. Good luck with the storage issues. We all know how much a pain in the ass storage places are, but the staff makes the whole situation as pleasant as possible. They understand people need storage and don't around with some schmuck attitude. read more
