When I returned, Firestone refused to honor their warranty and claimed my AC compressor was "bent" and that I "must have been in a car accident." This was completely false. I took the car to Tuffy Tire the next day for a second opinion. They found no accident damage, no bent compressor, and they were able to fix the radiator properly. Firestone charged me for a diagnosis, did nothing to fix the issue, and made an untrue claim to avoid honoring their warranty. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend avoiding this location if you expect honest diagnostics or accountability.

Manager Glen was immediately rude and resistant to processing my valid Fidelity Warranty service plan -- I had to call Fidelity and hold my phone over the counter on speakerphone just to get him to do his job. 33 days later my engine was destroyed. The authorized Subaru dealership formally documented in writing that the oil level was incorrect following Mr. Tire's service and caused catastrophic engine failure -- $8,952.09 in damages. I filed a claim with their insurer Travelers Insurance. Denied. I have filed complaints with the Ohio Department of Insurance, the Ohio Attorney General, and Subaru Corporate. I am pursuing this in Franklin County court. I am a server. This set me back years. Glen didn't want to do his job that day and I'm paying for it. Other customers -- check your oil level immediately after any service here.

I explained that the car had 165,000 miles on it and I was not looking to put too much money into repair. They indicated they understood. Shortly thereafter I receive a text with an estimate for over $4000 to repair the exhaust. No phone call or other communication. Just an outrageous estimate sent via text. I declined it and returned it to them. Never heard back so I called the next day asking if my car was available to be picked up. They indicated yes. No discussion about the quote . Spoke to a mechanic friend who said the price was outrageous and I should go to Mad Hatter. Just dropped my car off there this morning and got a call 45 minutes later. The work was done and fully repaired for $250. Just think about that for a second. Tuffy wanted over $4000 for work that Mad had her did for $250. Tuffy Muffler should be ashamed. Trust is the most important product and mechanic provides to their clients. You can't trust Tuffy.
