The representative Johnny gave me a price quote and told me to bring the vehicle in on Tuesday since they were booked for the weekend and it was Friday Brought my vehicle in on Tuesday morning i was greeted by Tiffany who was working the customer service desk. After a further discussion into what I was wanting to do, it was recommended that a technician look at transmission fluid since the vehicle had 112,000 miles on it and the fluid had never been changed. After the technician looked at the fluid, it was determined that I probably shouldn't drain it and certainly not have it flushed out as it could cause problems. Current, I have no issues with the transmission so it was not changed. I appreciated the honesty and very timely check. I also was greeted early on by another associate Madeline, who was very friendly and was going about her assigned work as well.. This shop is busy, but they took time out for each customer and my brief experience was pleasant.

AMMCO sorta diagnosis the problem was transmission cooler line came disconnected. They reattached the lines and said everything was fine with the transmission. Turns out everything was not fine. The transmission was leaking. My normal mechanic pointed out the leak a day later. I was told by AMMCO they did a thorough inspection. If the inspection took place they would have caught the leak along with several other things that needed attention. I would give 0 stars but that is not an option.

Since transmission problems were unchartered territory for myself here in New Braunfels, I did not have the first clue where to take our high maintenance pavement princess. Not knowing any better, and against my better judgement, I had my Suburban towed to the local Chevrolet dealer. After receiving a quote higher than Willie Nelson, some friends of ours recommended Brinkkoeter Transmissions. With nothing to lose, other than another tow bill, I called the tow truck and had her towed to Brinkkoeter. Just after a couple days, and our wallet a little lighter, our baby was back on the road again. Backed by a guarantee better than the factory with a 3 year/100,000 warranty. Doyle also informed us that the dealer had probably neglected to tell us that our particular transmission had undergone 6 software updates that GM had failed to notify us about. This probably will be the last GM product I ever buy, but I digress.... The customer service was top notch, the communication was great, and the overall experience was great. They also saved us a lot of money compared to the dealership. While I hope I never have to use Brinkkoeter ever again, I highly recommend anyone who needs transmission work. They made my pain a little more bearable, and had me back on the road again quick. Apparently this place has been around a while and I had never heard of them until now. Enjoy!

I had purchased a replacement battery, but needed install assistance since the battery sits behind my driver side wheel. The owner, Kareem, responded *immediately* with shop location, hours, and the number to reach the shop manager, Jacob, to discuss specifics. Very friendly and engaging interaction with the owner. I gave Jacob a call, and he gave me a very reasonable quote and best time to come in for service. He even gave me knowledgeable recommendations for the best battery to buy for my vehicle, and he was *on-point* because it was the same brand I bought after researching with glowing reviews (Interstate). When I arrived, Jacob not only greeted me kindly but offered water and the TV remote while I waited for my battery to be switched out. I saw a sparkling clean restroom for customers, as well. I was in and out in 30 minutes or less. From the owner to the manager to the pricing to the excellent service (I believe Connor worked on my vehicle) - they have truly earned my business!

Triage was first to reply very early…read morein the morning, which was surprising to me because I had not expected such an early or quick response. Since I knew, in general, what the issue was going to be, I explained the issue, and we made arrangements for me to being my pickup truck in for a free diagnostic. Mind you, the sun hadn't already come up yet, and Triage was open and running already. The auto shop is tucked away off Bitters Rd between several other speciality garages. The waiting area was a clean and friendly with a wide window looking into the garage where you can see the mechanics at work. There were amenities such as bags of snacks, coffee, a water cooler, and a television. They had immediate availability and were quick to confidently diagnose the exact issue showing me the problem. A quote for the part I needed, as well as the removal and replacement of said part, was written up, and the owner offered to drive me to home or work while the repair was performed. I took him up on it, and he's a great guy. Keep in mind, all of this happened before other auto shops even opened for the day! Jacob, the manager and mechanic who worked on my vehicle serviced it promptly, letting me know status periodically. Since it was a reasonably simple repair, Jacob picked me up early that afternoon to take me back to the shop and finalize the service. My pickup was repaired, and I was back on the road before any other auto shops had even answered my Yelp Projects inquiry. The shop I had previously used for service had scheduled me three days out. As someone who does mechanic work myself and relies on my vehicle, I can confidently say Triage's expertise and urgency in getting me back on the road kept my business running with minimum downtime. The price was fantastic on labor too. Very competitive. I will be recommending them in the future for sure!
