The owner and his son are smooth talkers, but the mechanics damage parts of your vehicle's engines to force you to come back and pay more money for them to repair the damaged. That is unethical. I have used their services for years and, each time, my car would constantly get damaged and I would have to constantly take it back to them for repairs, which cost a lot of money. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! I have gone to this place for two of my cars for a while now and Johnny Jr. always had no problem taking my money. In 2021 I had him install a brand new AC compressor which had been working fine ever since. On 8/14/2024 I had him install a new serpentine belt I brought him. On 9/3/2024 my AC compressor that has been working ever since he installed it blew out. I noticed on 9/7/2024 as I was doing my own oil change that the serpentine belt was damaged in a way that was only done by the mechanic and not by the compressor or any pulley's. The mechanic had issues installing the new belt and did not use the proper tools to install it as I was next to the car while he was working on it, he pried it on with a long tool that was not the correct tool to use like an idler pulley tension tool. I contacted Johnny trying to resolve the issue and on 9/8/2024 he tells me to come into his shop and he would refund me $100 not the total I was asking for $133.92 as I was asking him to cover the labor charged plus the cost of the belt I bought, he also told me after this not to come to his shop anymore and that he did not want to do business with me anymore. I went in to collect the $100 he said he would give me and he went back on his word saying he would not and that his shop is not responsible because it was my serpentine belt and not his. He asked me to explain to him why I was asking for a refund and I stated to him the following: I came in with a working AC compressor and just wanted you to install a new serpentine belt and two weeks later the compressor blows and there is damage to the serpentine belt from how the mechanic installed it. The compressor is not seized and did not damage the belt, nor are there any wobbly pulley's that could have done the damage to the belt. I am now out a working compressor and a serpentine belt because of all this. Before I knew the belt was bad, I bought a new AC compressor kit and was going to have him install it, he quoted me $180 for AC service and $195 to install the new compressor, he told me it would be $898 to install the drier filter and an additional labor cost for the expansion valve which he did not say the price for, he told me just to install the compressor since I have a lifetime warranty on it, if the compressor goes again then I can install the drier filter. So he wanted to charge me $1,273 without installing the expansion valve. He wanted me to take the chance and if the compressor blows, he would charge me again for another install and say I needed to install the drier filter and if that wasn't it then the expansion valve too. I called around and found a shop that would install the whole AC kit with compressor, drier filter and expansion valve for $450 not including Freon. They even will be installing a new serpentine belt for the same price of $450 since I had to buy another one after I noticed it was damaged by his mechanic. The point of this review is for his shop to understand that even though they are just charging for labor, if they damage anything, they are liable and that a customer should not be looked at as the culprit or guilty because they bring their own parts. His ultimate decision to not refund anything and only offer for me to bring in another serpentine belt and he would install it left me no choice but to leave a review here for others to see. legally his company is responsible to replace my compressor, I never asked him to do that and was going to have him install another one but after noticing the damaged serpentine belt and him going back on his word... This is the result and I am upset I even had to do this and waste my time. I will attach pictures later when I have more time. read more

I was in need of a new radiator and thermostat. After shopping around and getting as much information as possible (cost and time frame on getting the work done) from different places, I felt the Best about Johnny's. From the time that I pulled up, I was greeted right away from one of the employees, he was really kind and helpful. I mentioned that my radiator was leaking and I asked if he could take a look. After he was done carefully going over everything he explained that radiator would need to be replaced and also recommended to replace the thermostat as well. Specially being over 100,000 miles. We are a one car family so having repairs made quickly and cost effectively is our first priority. We had two major problems involving our thermostat and air conditioning unit. I called and Johnny listened to my issues and immediately told me to bring my car in for the needed repairs. I left my Buick LaCrosse at the shop and was even given a ride home. Took my 2013 Kia Rio here because it was over heating while it was in idle. Johnny is super friendly and honest which means a lot in the auto industry. Fair reasonable prices and had my car fixed and ready by the next morning (I had brought it in around 3pm the previous day) about 2 weeks later a headlight went out in the same car, changed the bulbs at Walmart but still wasn't working. Brought it by and they had it fixed in less than ten minutes. I will bring all my cars here for any trouble. Don't let the name fool you. I think the only thing they don't do here is tires but they fix everything else! I wish I'd known about this place years ago!
