Quick and honest service! I sent a message on Yelp requesting a quote for an oil change. They responded very quickly, priced fairly, and even provided time slots they had open, so I headed to the shop that same Saturday. When I arrived, they quickly directed me to pull in to start the service. It seems like I had just sat down when they called me back out to show me the the underside of the van. They wanted to know where I'd done the prior oil changes since whoever did them had stripped the tread on the pan from tightening the bolt too tight. I could clearly see that what they were saying was true and the pan had no tread and had been leaking oil this whole time. There really would be no way to do the oil change without also changing the pan. I asked how much that replacement would cost, and told them to go ahead complete the repair along with the oil change. This is my mom's mini van that I was going to drive back down to LA, so definitely wanted to ensure I was safe. I was told it would take 2-3 hours, but was quickly out in about 1.5. They even provided a discount when I paid since the repair was unexpected and fast, which I really appreciate. They pointed out some other concerns, but did not force any repairs on me, which I am grateful for. Will definitely be coming back for any future oil changes and repairs. read more

I walked in to have my transmission looked at. Sayeed took me to the garage and raised my car and showed me that there was just a little leakage, they tightened the bolts, cleaned up the spot and told me to come back in two weeks to see if it leaks more. Being a single Female with no experience in auto repair, the mechanic could have found something wrong or lied to try to get money from me but he chose honesty. Because of this I told them to look at another repair that I needed done and front brakes. They gave me an estimate that I could not afford to pay at the time. I expressed this to him, the Suoervisor came out and told me that he would do a one time offer and allow me to make payments. I was so happy. I cried! I dropped my car off the next morning, and they had it ready for my by lunchtime! I am back two weeks later making my payment for a fully repaired car with no leak in the transmission that they just checked for and told me the great news! They not only fixed my A/C at a very reasonable price, but they also stayed late past their closing time to make sure I had my car for the next day. And that was on top of great, superb service. My a/c needed repair. It was blasting hot air right as these hot summer days were getting started. I took it to A&A auto, they checked out my car right away and brought me out to the garage to show me what the problem was under the hood and explained it clearly so that I could understand. I really found that refreshing. I needed a new compressor, they quoted me a reasonable price based on what I researched was the average cost. Unprofessional and lazy staff low quality expensive service took my Toyota car to them once and it has never seen a good day since then

So I took my Mini to this shop A&A Auto Repair at 2621 El Camino Ave in January 2022 to have the alternator, harmonic balancer and pulley replaced. They replaced the parts and the car was fine for only 4 months,then in June 2022 the alternator goes out again. I pay $120 to tow the car to their shop despite the ad on google that says they tow to the shop for free.. they replace the alternator and I'm assuming something else because the car sounded like a blender, free at no charge to me. Everything was fine my car was running perfectly for just a short time because now October 2022 the alternator is out again, hella weird the parts they are supplying are going out again and again. I pay about $400 to tow my mini to the shop, with the free tow ad still up... I go to the shop and let the shop manager know what's going on and he is trying to dumb everything down for me thinking I don't know my car and how shit works.. He explains I still need to pay for labor but the part is under warranty still and they're giving me such a "great deal" on labor because they would only charge me for 1.5 hours so $250 to have this fixed, I'm not paying that no way. He then tells me to look at his computer on this "government " website and tell me what I'm doing is illegal to ask for free labor and when I have him show me it's a random ass page that doesn't even have .gov like all the other government pages. He then gets mad that I pointed this out and gets his boss in the phone who starts yelling at me saying I'm taking advantage of them and they're trying to help me and I need to pay. Their website states as long as you own the vehicle it's backed by a lifetime warranty and they will fix any issue with something they have fixed free of charge. Clear as day. I'm so disappointed and at this point want to be reimbursed for the cost of all the tow fees I've accrued. I was lied to, treated horrible and spoke to like im stupid and my car is continuously getting defective parts.I've learned my lesson though I won't be back. I'll be getting my car back tomorrow and can only hope it's in the same condition I dropped it off in. I didn't want them to even touch my car again but I don't have many options I need my car, that's why I paid them in January to fix it I never though I'd be back every 4 months for a fucking alternator. So if you've been following me, or checked out my past Yelp reviews, you'd know that I've been to different auto repair shops. And I'm almost certain that most, if not, all have been given a 5 star review by me.A and A Auto Repair is no different. I have a 2009 Nissan Rogue. Of course like all of the 2009 Rogues out there, mines also had a transmission that was bound to give out. The CTV transmission for the 2009 Nissan Rogue is so bad, that Nissan recognized this years ago and gave an extended warranty of all 2009 Rogues to have 120K miles and/or 10 years on it. Unfortunately for me, my 117K mile Rogue's transmission gave out a few months after the 10 year warranty mark. At this point in time, I choose to replace the transmission rather than going car hunting/shopping. I messaged and got quotes from different auto shops in the Sacramento area. A and A was by far the cheapest. I was a little skeptical for sure. So through messaging the owner: Firas, I asked him a bunch of questions before committing my vehicle in his hands. They got me a remanufactured transmission from Nissan (came with the standard Nissan warranty). They offered to pick up and tow my car from my house to their shop, which was about 20 minutes from each other for free. During the replacement of the transmission, they found that the driver side axle was in bad shape and changed out the part. They only charged me with the parts' price. They took my car away on a Friday afternoon and I picked up my vehicle on Wednesday morning. During the time the Rogue was in the shop, Firas always responded in a timely manner as always. He even updated me with pictures of the process. To my knowledge, Firas and the mechanic that worked on my Rogue has been honest with me with their quality of work. Best believe me, if in a few months I'm having transmission issues, I'll update THIS review to let you all know. There is a 20% off the first time service on Yelp, but call ahead to find out what that would be. I didn't receive (nor did I expect) that discount because it really did seem I had a great deal to begin with from this big job. Before I came to them, my truck had a really bad pull when I stepped on the brakes. I'm thinking, my alignment?! But of course with me not knowing that there are other parts to the wheels, Dave automatically knew it had something to do with the calipers. Even "warned" me on it. On if it needed to be replaced or not. Gave me the details before even looking at my truck. He knew his stuff, that's for sure. I'm thankful for that. Communication was key, here. If they found something that NEEDED to be done in order for me to get around and travel safely, I was told about it. No hidden fees or extra charges after "work" was done. Broke everything down to me and gave me the pricing for everything. I also had a long wait. I was expecting it because I had some major things that needed to be done on it. I didn't mind at all. That showed me that these guys take their time to make sure every detail and part is working as they should. Didn't mind one bit. During the wait, David made sure we were comfortable. Even offered to pick us up some food. I was with my 4 year old who began to get restless but still behaving. I'm sure David & Frank understood what it was like waiting with a toddler, for that long. Lol! I was also very surprised with the waiting area. It smelled clean. Not like most car shops I've waited and sat in for less than an hour, where you can smell the oil and all that...Yeah, not here. It was clean. So, to the technicians, mechanics, the guy cleaning the waiting area...David & Frank THANK YOU! We now have a place we can trust and recommend to friends (id day family but we don't have family here lol). All around great service! Great, honest and friendly!
