These guys are great. Our rep PJ, did us right! We moved our offices and needed storage racks. we had various companies quote 9 sets of 24"x48"x96" high with 5 particle board shelves per unit. A&A Boltless came in much cheaper than all of the others. then they said they had used shelves at an even better price and ordered. Our order had 36 standing corders, 36 heavy side supports, 36 heavy front supports, 54 light supports and 45 particle board shelves. we had them picked up and as we were installing them we noticed some pieces were missing. They offered to bring them over but not for a few days. we needed the parts right away and that pissed me off. "I needed them now". I drove to Santa Ana from Redondo Beach, ready to take someones head off. PJ was there and apologized, gave me the replacement parts and some bonus parts. I also wanted to order a few more shelves and he comp'd those to me. Not only did he admit to their mistake, but he took care extraordinary care of me. this is the 2nd time i have bought from them and will continue to do so. Thanks PJ! read more

I purchased several racks from this company 2 months ago, some 8' tall and some 12' tall. I was never informed that I would be needing building permits for anything over 7' 9", otherwise I would have ordered everything within those guidelines. During a recent fire inspection, we were cited for not getting permits for the taller racks. I contacted my sales rep to find out what my options were and he said he could help me get the permits for the racks, which would cost around $8,000 - more than the cost of the racks! I asked him why I was not informed of these requirements. Despite not informing me of the requirements at the time of ordering, he was still courteous with me. A few minutes later I received a called from Genine Campbell who proceeded to tell me the requirements for the racks. I asked her why I wasn't informed of these requirements before I ordered. She started to raise her voice at me and told me it is not the company's job to tell me what the permit requirements are and that I should have researched this information. I asked her that the company has no responsibility in informing the clients? She would not let me get a word in edgewise and was talking over me! I asked her who I was speaking to and she said " I am the f***ing owner and I don't have to take this f****ing crap from you!" I am in shock because I have NEVER been spoken to with so much disrespect, let along being cursed at by the OWNER of the business! I have owned my manufacturing business for over 25 years and this is the worst experience I have had with any company I have done business with. Especially from the owner of the business! If this is the way she speaks to her clients, by yelling and cursing, what is she teaching her team and how does she represent her business? I would have expected a respectful conversation offering some sort of help or options considering I paid so much money for racks that I will have to tear down. Instead I was yelled and cursed at! They do not take responsibility for their mess-up that caused their customer incurring bills or affecting business operations. As long as they made the margin, they will help, but if their mess up (not paying attention to specs customer provided and delivering something that didn't work for a major commercial move) starts to affect their margin, that's where their service stops. It's sad they can't see their mistake is what caused them and us (the customer) a loss and doens't care to make it right. This is directly quoted from the company. "At this point we have lost more on this lift than what is left for us. Unfortunately we cannot extend any discounts (despite the fact that you couldn't use the lift on the moving day due to the fact that I didn't provide a lift that met your requirements from the beginning)" Avoid buying any equipment from this seller! read more

Great place to pick up any type of heavy duty shelving! This is not your typical box/retail store shelving. This is the REAL stuff...much heavier gauge and meant for everyday use and abuse. They have everything from the typical 12x36x60 garage-type shelving size, all the way up to massive mezzanine type monster warehouse stuff. If you aren't sure what you need, just let them know what your requirements are and they can help you out. Prices are very competitive, and they even have used (and in great condition, I might add!) shelving as well. These guys kick azz. If you need industrial type / chrome shelving, you can save BIG bucks ordering through A & A. Can special order components and they usually get them next day. They do personal orders too, not just large bulk sales. I got about $200 worth of chrome shelving (if had bought through a major retailer) for about $120 out the door, new... and I didn't even check their used section. If you need a special size (h X w X d), call and ask, and they can usually hook it up. They don't do email quotes, but they'll quote you over the phone or fax it. Well worth that small hassle. These guys are awesome. Sometimes they're a little bit busy in the facility is a little bit older however they have a lot of material and can custom build what they don't have. Doesn't score high and marks in terms of the parents but with a low overhead they can do a lot for what you were looking for. I live in a remote area, and often pay high freight costs or pick up bulky products at the supplier. Finding a company that can deliver for reasonable cost is unusual, and I really appreciate it. Danny arrived on schedule after a long drive, and unloaded the material exactly where I needed it. AA Boltless in El Monte wasn't the first company I contacted, but they were the ones that got my business for two reasons. First, they had the best price shipped to my location; and second, Phillip answered all my questions about the product and alternatives, and made sure everything was in stock before committing to a delivery schedule. Such responsiveness is unusual these days. If you need a little or a lot, call this company first. They have a lot in stock, backed up by fast resupply. Their delivery is fast and reliable. I echo the other review about industrial shelving and racks. This is the Real stuff! I selected FastRak, made by Jaken. In my experience, it is the easiest to assemble, and actually costs less than more conventional shelving. It is lightweight, but can hold a lot. If you need heavier versions, this company has that as well. read more

The owner is very very rude and almost wanted to fight me. I was there to pick up some rack but they had me wait for two hours after I paid. I asked for refund, but the owner refused to refund and threaten to fight me. It was a terrible terrible experience. Don't ever come to this place if you have a choice. read more

Really bad customer service, i spent $5500 with them, once they deliver about 25 percent of the racks were wrong size, i called the sales man he said he will call me back next day and take care of everything, never heard back, called the company 3 times and left messages for the sales man to call back, never got a single call back, bad service read more

I hate to give a bad review because I read that the owner is a woman and I want to encourage that, but she certainly doesn't seem to me minding her shop. This business has poor customer service and is not worth the hassle you will go through with them. I called them 3 months ago to see if they had Gorilla racks, and Jeff said they did. I drove an hour to get there. They couldn't find the racks that they had advertised. They eventually loaded two and a half used racks into my car. I didn't discover that so many parts were missing until I got home and started assembling them. I've called five times now for the missing parts, and each time they've taken my address and said that they were delivering them to me. The staff is surly and incompetent. They never have a supervisor; they always say they're filling in for one. I could keep going on and name names but I'm trying not to get personal. Just don't give these clowns your business, it is a waste of your time and it only encourages them. read more
