I purchased a remote control and looking for locksmith. I found John in internet. I called him to have my car 1998 Audi A8 rekey and program the remote. I meet John in local shopping area and he cut my key and program it. At first he's having a hard time programming because both remote doesn't lock anymore. He did mention that the car battery is low. I don't believe him because the car starts just fine. But tried to jump the car and we tried both remote and works fine. He told me to get a new battery. I went to car store and get new battery. Upon removing the old one and notice that the battery leaks all over the trunk. As soon as I change the battery, I can open and lock the car from afar. I lost my car keys at work and had no duplicate, after calling a few locksmiths I was told I would have to take my car in to the scion dealer to get a new key programmed which would cost me $300 for the key+programming plus a towtruck to get there on top of that.. I thought no way I'm paying that just for a friggin key!! So I called Jon and he immediately told me he could make me a key and could be there in 30 mins,awesome! I had already got a ride home and left my car at work since I thought it was gonna be some trouble trying to get a key I wish I would of called Jon earlier.. so anyway I decided to schedule for the next day instead. Getting a OEM transponder key programmed is a tough road. The dealerships want upwards of $80 just for programming, and many lock smiths will not touch a key you buy elsewhere. John took care of everything at a very reasonable price. I will use him again, as well as recommend him. read more
