They are honest about what needs to be done and what doesn't, fair in pricing and aren't condescending in how they speak to women. Besides usual services like brakes and oil, I've brought my vehicle in urgently when it threw an error indicating I would not be able to restart it once I turned it off. They were so thorough in troubleshooting over mutiple days, and let me know that it appeared to be a fault with the HV system which they researched and let me know could still be covered under warranty, and then recommended I take it to the dealer. BEWARE! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! Go to Bavarian Motor Experts instead. This WAS a great company with Tony & Albert, as the owners. I was a loyal customer for over 15 years. They've retired, & are NOT there anymore & boy does it show. The new owner Alan does not have even a minuscule of the experience they had. I feel ripped off, misled, and lied to. Isaac the office guy is also rude & unpleasant & condescending. They charged me $5500 for repairs that didn't need to be made because within a month they said it was transmission related and wouldn't be worth repairing. This is BAD BUSINESS, INEXPERIENCE, UNACCEPTABLE, & they should NOT be in business anymore. I'm finding out other a & a customers have had similar problems. read more

I was looking for another place to service mini coopers since not everywhere does. This place popped up when I was searching and I decided to try. My brake pads and rotors were suggested to be fixed by mini dealership which would cost $1,000 since it was rusting. I didn't want to pay 1k so I went here. Albert looked at it and said there's lots of life left for my brake pads and come back when the service light goes on. He also said they would charge me only about half the price when I needed to actually replace it. I also came on another occasion since my battery was dying and luckily they took me in that day and had the battery in stock! Took a hour to change the battery and $350. I appreciate their honestly and friendliness. I will definitely be back to take my mini here again! read more

These guys are great. After having an oil warning light pop up I feared the worst for my 2011 Mini Cooper. I took it down there and they were able to see the car quickly, diagnosed that the car was low on oil and just needed a top up, they completed that and break service for a reasonable price. This was a 5 star which has descended rapidly. Albert and Tony ran the business well years ago but the recent management shift to their younger staff has resulted in poor communication and results. My 550i had an air suspension issue. I brought it in, they "fixed it" by replacing the compressor. This took a week. It deflated a few days later. I brought it back. They inspected it for 2 weeks (no loaner by the way) and said it was fine and charged me for a "fault". A week later it deflated again. Brought it back they said it wasn't the airbags in the suspension as they inspected them twice. No call for 2 weeks. No car for me. Finally I call and ask what's going on. They said it was a compressor issue and they took it to bmw to warranty replace it. Bmw told them that it was the air bags in the suspension not the compressor. So they had to replace the air bags. When I finally pick up the car, I ask if they would credit me for any mistaken diagnosis and work (not expecting that they would). However, the manager gave me serious attitude and said they did the work that was needed. I said I probably would not come back because of his attitude and he said. "Good. Don't come back". This episode happened after another incident for my 750i the previous month. A cateye headlight was dim and I wanted it fixed. Before they would even look at it they said I had to order and pay for the headlight part. Ok no problem, just want it fixed. A week later they call and say, "sorry that was not the right part. But you cannot return it. And we will charge you around $700 on top of the part, though we were unable to fix it. If you want it fixed you need to but a new headlight unit for around $5000 plus labor" I really liked albert and tony. It's truly a shame. read more

Owner was nice at the first visit. On the third visit, he tried to charge me $2000 to change the gas pump and the gasoline filter. He said both were bad and the gas filter is another $1000. I checked online. The gas pump only take not even 10 minutes to replace and the after market cost was less than $200. I bought the pump from Napa Kaimuki same day and replaced the pump myself. I didn't change the gas filter. The car worked fine. read more
