I messaged on Sunday, got me in on Tuesday even though Monday was a holiday. Service was fast; all done in a day. I had a bad alternator that was working on/off. I initially cancelled the appointment when the alternator was working again. "No problem"; they didn't give me a hard time or anything. Darius, the mechanic, allows you to shop for your own parts and they send you direct links on Amazon for what to purchase. By doing that, I've saved so much money and by them encouraging their customers to buy their own parts, shows that they aren't money hungry and selfish. They're flexible with appointments and have been able to work with me on getting my van in at my convenience. The price he charges for labor isn't a rip off like other dealerships and mechanics. I went down expecting to get my front brake pads replaced and brake fluid flushed and cabin filter replaced. The mechanic who worked on my car showed me my car brake pads and a new set, and it was very similar. I expect that the dealership is trying to gouge $$ off of middle class ppl like us so that we end up spending more on the car when it might be time to buy a new one. I came to get a $300 job done when the dealer quoted me $690 for all, but walked away paying for only $36 for the filter replacement. The nice mechanic said that my tires needed replacing soon and I told him I'd go to Costco. He seemed to have no issue with that and said tires are cheap there. Was also trying to figure out when was the last time I got all 4 of my tires replaced on my car... probably over 6 years ago. I'll be back when my brake pads really do need replacing!! I already knew my spare wasn't going to last me long because I had previously drove on it and didn't replace it yet so I was concerned.
