My fault I let the registration expire but I was not putting another dime into the car because of all the issues it had and was planning to sell it to Cash for Clunkers but time got away from me and we hadn't pulled it into my driveway which apparently would've saved me from this whole mess.Total money grab by the city and Phils because there was no way I would be able to get my car back before they closed at 5 PM for the weekend so my car had to sit there. I finally called and by that time I was told the fees were $900 BUT Earl would cut me a deal and only make me pay $500 if I signed the title of my car over. If I didn't do this the total fee's would be around $3000 by the time my car went to auction and he was likely to only make $1000 off the car and therefore would take out a deficiency lien against me for the rest of the money. I tried to negotiate the $500 since I was willing to sign my car over to him to sell at auction and the tow from my house to his storage is less than 0.25 miles so he would still be profiting but he refused and then had the audacity to shake my hand and tell me merry Christmas after making me pay $500 and leaving with nothing. I understand people have to run a business, but this was a huge scam and Phils is apparently notorious for this type of business from what another tow yard here in Corning told me when I called to see is this is standard in the business. We'll definitely never be doing business with them in the future.

I was hopelessly stuck in mud all the way up to the chassis and in the middle of nowhere. The night turned into a disaster for all involved when not one but two tow trucks also became stuck trying to get to me. The team at L&T didn't give up and stayed very professional throughout the ordeal. It was near freezing out so the driver took me into town while they changed out equipment. Just really great guys! Hopefully I'll never need them again but if I have to call for a tow they will be the first call I make.

Upon my arrival to drop off point I immediately walk to the back of the tow truck and look up at my truck on the l&t towing flatbed my windshield had been smashed into pieces my driver mirror was broke into pieces my driver window is broke into pieces and gone as well as my tunnel cover for my bed of my truck was not there. The brackets that attach to my cover my cover to the bed of my truck are damaged and completely bent upwards from the tonneau cover being violently ripped off my truck while driving on the road. I communicated with l&t towing about l&t towing drivers negligence, one of the owners of l&t towing said they would compensate me for my losses they asked if I would get estimates I told them I did not have time or energy to waste on the damages that their driver at l&t towing caused to my beautiful truck and if they would like they can cut me a check for $3,000 and I would not pursue an insurance claim which would damage or not look good for their company they agreed and said be there in the morning to get check, this morning getting ready to head to l&t towing to pick up my compensation check the owner calls me and proceeded to tell me l&t towing is not going to have a compensation check for me this morning and that I needed to take care of the damages myself as the owner of l&t towing rudely disconnected our phone call and is unreachable. Because we were stranded with our children, we had already called another towing company who arrived promptly and was polite, professional, and actively helping us. When the Bambauer driver arrived, he was rude from the very beginning. He interrupted a conversation we were already having with the two gentlemen helping us and immediately demanded an ID without even introducing himself. When we explained that the AAA membership holder could be there shortly, he repeatedly said he "couldn't do anything" and kept insisting we would be charged anyway. We clearly told him we were not using his services and asked him to step away. Instead of respecting that, he continued to stand in our personal space, arguing and telling us we would be charged, even after we asked him to leave us alone. His behavior felt aggressive and harassing--especially unacceptable considering our children were present. He's honestly lucky my husband didn't call the police over how he was acting. To make matters worse, when we called the office to report his behavior, the woman who answered was equally rude and dismissive, claimed the driver was "in the right," refused to help resolve the situation in any way, and then hung up on my husband. This company lacks professionalism, basic customer service, and accountability. If you value being treated with respect--especially in a stressful roadside situation--I would strongly recommend choosing a different towing company.

I managed to pull off to the right side of the road but was only a couple feet away from very fast cars and trucks that would shake my vehicle as they passed. I called AAA but the first towing company they got for me called me 15 minutes later saying they wouldn't be able to get to me for at least 3 hours! After a couple more calls to AAA and a visit from a friendly highway patrol officer, I received a very welcome call from Walter at L&T Towing saying he was on his way. Walter was very friendly and helped me through a stressful situation. He knew the local town of Williams well and directed me to a highly rated mechanic who was able to work on my car early the next morning. He even dropped me off at a nearby Motel 6 where I stayed for the night. I can't thank Walter and L&T Towing enough for their excellent service! Sadly, my car seems to be in bad shape, and I had to leave it in Williams while I continued my trip with a rental car to move my daughter. These kind humans take pictures of the damage and kindly explain what is going on with your car in each image. Every single person I spoke to here was kind, and I felt comfortable. They let me store my car here, and recommended a place to buy it for parts. They did not overcharge me.... They definitely undercharged, and had a lot of compassion for my situation. I wish I could a shop in Oregon that I could rely on like this.
