I got a 2-meat plate with the brisket, Dr Pepper glazed sticky ribs, green chili corn casserole and smokey beans. As you are ordering the brisket they ask if you want it sliced or chopped, and if you want lean, fatty or burnt ends. I knew it would be good then. The lean brisket was solid, a little peppery on the bark. I'd have liked it to be a little smokier and the bark a little more flavorful but that's the only complaint you will get in this review. The Dr Pepper sticky ribs were phenomenal! Sweet, smokey dessert like meaty goodness. It was almost pornographic what I did to those bones. The smokey beans lived up to that name for sure and the green chili corn casserole was unique and delicious. This is a definitely a place I will repeat when I am back in Lafayette.
