This place deserves absolutely NO stars. I took my car in to get the transmission fixed in 2024. I've been driving it for 21 months since the supposed fix. My car stopped and started doing the same exact thing it was doing when I originally took it to them. I had my car towed back to this God awful transmission shop!!! They called me back saying they checked it out and it was definitely a part that they already fixed when they fixed it the first time. Then he proceeded to say that due to the car being out of warranty that they would have to start all over again. Meaning I'd have to give them another 3,505.01 to fix the same thing that they clearly didn't fix when I took it to them the first time. I pray that this company will be exposed for taking advantage of people and taking their money without doing their jobs. They rigged my car to last long enough until after the warranty expired!!!! read more

This shop is a joke, starting with the old man that answer the phone " JOE" . If that owner knows any better he said fire him! Rude ,nasty attitude, no emphatic and make customers that spend thousands of dollars feel like they a bother!! I took my promaster van here for service and I have been back 3 times. Each time "JOE" is never a pleasure to speak with. I will be an advocate to make sure anyone I know or speak with don't get serviced here! Example: He called me and said "your van is ready, what time you coming we closing soon " . I said ok what time y'all close he said "soon" ,ok so what time is soon "joe" he replied and said soon! Where do i start. First he fast talked me over the phone and said its free for me to diagnose it than called me back and said I need 525 to continue and still never told me the problem than found the problem and told me 3800 than fixed it with used parts and once I got the car back all my front lights was cut and wiper reservoir gone and my fan is missing I do not recommend this place to no one read more

they completely ripped me off! when I called him on the phone I told him the model and everything and he told me it'll be somewhere around $1200 when I brought my car in and put the 300 nonrefundable deposit down. He called me back a few days later and told me it would be $3300 to get my car fixed. I told him how do you go from $1200-$3300?! To make a long story short, he kept my $300 and had to have my car towed from there to somewhere else And got a fix for lot cheaper. read more

This business was recommended by my son of all people. I trusted that since he had been there all would go smoothly. But it didn't I'll admit I was ready to get mad when an issue arose. But after calming down and talking a second time and LISTENING. Me and A&B got an understanding of what I thought and what they thought and what we both needed to know! Sometimes when we are in a situation where we have came out of a lot of money. We don't listen we assume. So people please give the professionals a chance to tell you and then wait for results before assuming! I'm glad I thought before reacting they gave me there opinion and then after they fixed the problem and now I'm good :). We came to an understanding and everyone was happy especially me. Scam artist is a understatement, Was charged nearly 700 for diagnosis of my Transmission, after a week of saying it'll be ready tomorrow Joe contacted me to only tell me it's an additional charge of 1200 . I recommended a lady friend to bring her car here for service. They told her she needed a new transmission, so she pays them nearly 3k for a new trans in a 2010 journey. She gets her cars back its shaking the engine is now misfiring she's mentioned she's seen smoke before. The car did not have any of those problems before she took it into the shop and they also put the car on the scanner to see what codes came up and they are not the same codes that are on the coming up on the car now. They're telling her it's a mechanical problem and it's nothing that they did. read more

This has got to be the slowest most expensive transmission shop in Detroit. I dropped my car off almost 2 weeks ago and still have not gotten it back. They charged me 2600 for to rebuild a Impala transmission which is almost $1000 more then any other transmission shop around the area. I even went to the suburbs and the estimate they gave was 1800 to rebuild it. The guy joe told me my car would take "a day or two" to finish after he had already had it for 3 days (since Monday) . I called Friday which was a full 7 days they had the car and he said I would hear something by the end of the day. Needless to say I heard nothing. So I called Monday and he said it'll be ready Tuesday. Then I called Tuesday and it still wasn't ready. These people aren't good for business. They're way to expensive and they move way to slow. If your looking for good prices, quality work with good estimate times look else where. They do not specialize in any of those areas. This is the typical scam shop. Just cause they're black don't mean they are good or fair. read more

RUN!!!! AND FAST! This place runs scams on customers all the time. I wanted them to take a look at my car for a quote. They charge for that and offer to take that amount off of the work that needs to be done. Only problem is THEY WILL NOT LOOK AT YOUR CAR WITHOUT YOUR COMMITMENT FOR THEM TO DO THE WORK. SMH.... I had my daughter's car repaired there a few years ago. They did a good job, So when my car stopped moving I thought of them as well. I was happy I did. They answered all of my questions and kept me posted on the process. Repaired my 2007 explorer for a reasonable price. I Had my vehicle back and running within 2 days.
