Visit 1: Technician contacted me and came Saturday morning that we paid a contract fee over $250 to enjoy the Saturday service, better rates on diagnostics, labor and parts, and 1x annual maintenance. The technician cleaned the unit and pipe to make sure water flows through. We were charged over $200 for the job done. I observed slight water leak of the same spot and called for service. Obviously, I was too naive to consider this the same water leak. Visit 2: Technician came Thursday afternoon but without calling to confirm the exact time. He realized the leak comes from the loosening drainage pipe that the first technician overlooked. He got the job done and charged me only labor and parts for ~$80 (diagnostic fee exempt). Overview: Positive: Good communication and timely response. Negative: Feels overpriced given over $280 for the job, which is already a favorable rate built on the contract fee of over $250 paid. They don't seem to take the result accountable such as guarantee no leaking, rather, they just calculate the costs in detail. Remember, if same thing happens to the same spot again, it just means another bill, not bc they didn't do their job in the first place. Not sure if I expect too much. I'm looking for other options that I might pay less and the technician could guarantee to resolve it within the reasonable budget.

Garbage. They send the residential tech to fix my unit, even though I pay commercial prices. Had to get a new unit, which took 6 months and then promptly died again and they tried to charge me for a new thermostat. Customer service is HORRIBLE and I've worked in customer service before. This place is a nightmare and needs a HUGE overhaul.

We have an older home and finding a technician who has knowledge and experience with both kinds of systems at a good price can be hard, but Legacy came through. Charlie was prompt when scheduling a time to service both systems and made it a very easy choice to go with them. He explained exactly what was done and what still needed to be done very clearly and was very accomodating. Both heating systems are working much better now and I would recommend Charlie to anyone in our area of NJ.

His workers that he claimed graduated from HVAC training school, did not know what they were doing. Charlie was not much better. He advertises himself as a licensed expert HVAC installer, but he did not know how to wire the Bosch system. He claimed it was a new model, and he had not installed it before. After we had no heat in the sub-freezing winter temperatures, he had to call the company for step-by-step instructions. The noise level of this system is unbearable and sounds like a wind tunnel. We have to increase the volume on the TV when the heat kicks on. In October he promised to install a noise reduction system in the attic (at my expense). It is now June and I am still waiting even though I have asked him numerous times when he is coming. He says we live too far away. Well, he shouldn't have taken the job if it was too far to travel to our property. The service has been terrible. At this point he will not even return my texts and calls to schedule the spring maintenance which was included in the price. Needless to say, I do not recommend this company for any HVAC work. Months later I found out he closed the business and moved out of state! How do these people sleep at night?
