You can't speak with a live person. They had me waiting all day for a tech and they never showed up. They only tell you that they'll be there between 8-5 pm so your whole day is wasted. In years past I would have recommended A&E highly as their Repairs of my lawn tractor were spot on! Then when I needed them to repair my Samsung refrigerator which I purchased from Sears, the man came, made a list of the required parts, asked for payment for the parts and the service call and went his way. When he had not turned in a month, I callede and got no response. Then at two months no response again. Then at three months a man came by and said some parts were hard to get and they would be coming soon. The first contact was in January 2024 and the check was paid by my bank in January as well. Our son called in June, reached someone who said a refund would be paid immediately. Now it is October and my icemaker and refrigerator are not fixed AND NO REFUND OF MY $891.81 has been made. He couldn't even take the pedestal off the washing machine, my husband had to do it for him. Horrible, don't deserve even one star. There is no way to communicate with this company, but I'm stuck with them thanks to Lowe's extended warranty. Repairman confirmed what I had already figured out, there truly is NO WAY to contact a human at this company, and sometimes you need to (as in to tell them the parts that were ordered didn't arrive, so don't send the tech). Waited a whole day for the repairman to arrive, never did, system just arbitrarily rescheduled for another day (sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.) without any input from me. When the parts finally did arrive, they sent the wrong items, another wasted trip. An automated system is completely inadequate to deal with all the situations that can arise. 1yr old machine under extended warranty I purchased. Had small leak underneath. They sent a tech who clearly didnt know what he was doing. He destroyed my machine. Inner boot was completely pulled through & off, drum was knocking around off spring and just totally loose. .He ran a test and didn't take out clothes, sounded like a train slamming into a wall. Ordered parts when he doesn't even know what he did or broke. Ruin your machine & they didnt care, was like no big deal. I have an issue with my dishwasher and have the protection plan through Lowe's - they brought in A&E. Appointment scheduled about two weeks from initial call. Window for arrival is 8:00 to 5:00. Feature to receive text before arrival does not function on their system. I receive multiple reminders of the appointment. Appointment is confirmed (via text), even at 10:30 on the day of the appointment! At 11:45, I get a text rescheduling the appointment... two weeks later. wtf? It was not easy for me to arrange an entire day to be home. Just look at their reviews. They make a lot of people unhappy. read more

They scheduled service on my refridgerator for last Friday and called to reschedule for today, the following Monday. They did not show up today but said they did and fixed my refrigerator! A&E Factory Service is by far the worst company that I have had to deal with. My home warranty selected them to repair my Kenmore washing machine. It took them a week to show up for the initial appointment, in which they had to order parts. The parts were ordered and they scheduled the repair appointment for almost 2 weeks later. The day before the appointment they rescheduled for 5 days later. The day of the rescheduled appointment, the technician never showed up and when we called Sears Repair Services they insisted that the tech was on his way still (after 3 hours being late already). They never showed up, I called again and the system rescheduled our appointment with no explanation for a week out. Not once did this company ever communicate with us to let us know any of this. When I called Sears Repair Service one last time, they cancelled all future appointments and told me to reach out to my home warranty. If you have a choice, please NEVER use this company. read more

A&E factory service is the worst company to deal with. I scheduled an appointment to have my Samsung gas range worked on. The gave me a window of 8am to 5pm the technician showed up after 4 so hole day wasted. They didnt have the parts so I has to schedule a second visit. They only let you pick from a 1 week window 2 weeks out so I had to schedule a date that didnt work well and then call to reschedule for a day that I could take off. At the time that I rescheduled I made sure to let them know that I had company coming for Thanksgiving and needed the range to make Thanksgiving dinner. After getting a text conformation about the rescheduled appointment on 11/26 and a call reminding me of the appointment the day before they never showed when I call just before 5 to find out where the technician was I was told that he was on the way at 6 when I called back I was told that it was rescheduled for 12/6 with no notification when asked why they could not fix it on 11/27 al they would say is that they don't have a technician available and they could not do anything before 12/6, after they missed the appointment leaving me to cook Thanksgiving dinner without a stove. I will never use this company ever again I would rate there service at zero stars. I would recomend to anyone that they use anyone else read more

My LG Refrigerator stopped cooling back in August due to a faulty linear compressor. To their credit, LG agreed to repair it free of charge, both parts, and labor. At first, they selected a local repair shop to carry out the repairs, but that shop wouldn't perform the repairs for 6 months, giving me a complete runaround. So a week ago, I convinced LG to assign a different provider to perform the repairs. This time, LG selected A & E Factory Service for the job. Having had my refrigerator unrepaired for 6 months, I was obviously skeptical. Nevertheless, A&E Factory Service scheduled my repair appointment within a week. Although I was told that a technician would arrive between 8 am and 5 pm, already before 9 am I got a call from the attending technician, Daniel, who said that he was on his way. He arrived 30 mins later and performed the repairs competently and quickly. He was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable, all the markings of a true professional. Overall, my experiences with A&E Factory Service were day and night as compared to those with the local provider. If I ever need any of my appliances repaired, I'd go with A&E Factory Services again. read more

I bought a dishwasher from Home Depot about 2 years ago and with it purchased the extended warranty. Well, the arm that spins inside the dishwasher fell off. So I called Home Depot who gave me two choices of companies I had never heard of before to fix the part. I chose A&E by pure dumb luck. I got a call from A&E saying I needed to be home during a 4 hour period. I called them back and asked for a more definite time the day they were to come out (more on there "coming out" later). They did narrow it down to two hours and said a guy would call me half an hour before coming out. I was running errands when the guy called to say "I'll be there in half an hour." So I rushed home to wait for him. After more than half an hour I get a call from a different guy who says the case was assigned to him now (huh?!) and that he doesn't need to come out since he knows what part needs to be ordered (yeah, more on that one later too). I thank him so much for making me go home for nothing. HELLO YOU IDIOTS. MY TIME IS JUST AS PRECIOUS AS YOURS!! He says he'll order the parts and someone will be out in a week to install the part. Okay, deep breath. Stay focused. Could get better from here. Only it doesn't. So today the technician comes out to put the part in. Oh, of course I had to be home today too. I asked again for a 30 minute "before you get here" call. This dude calls me TEN minutes before he gets here. He then tells me that the first guy from an entire week ago, ordered the wrong part. I am not particularly thrilled with this company by then and tell him so. "Oh I'm so sorry ma'am." "Don't worry, I'll help you out." Those are just two of the myriad of phrases this guy could have said. Instead he says.....nothing. Clearly he has no interest whatsoever in me being told to wait for a technician that never shows up or for having the wrong part delivered or for having to wait a week for ...oh yeah, nothing. He doesn't give a crap at all. Not one bit. He says he will oder the correct part but that it will take at least TWO WEEKS. OMG are you friggin' kidding me?!! By this time I have had more than my fair share of this moronic company so I decide to call the 800-905-9505 number to tell them that my very first experience with their company has been a disaster. As usual, the call is routed overseas. The one thing I CAN say about A &E is their consistency. They suck with their US employees AND they suck with their overseas ones too! I asked to speak with a manager and was asked "Why?" Me: "Because I have a complaint I would like to speak with a manager about." Them: "What is your compaint?" Me: " I would like to address that with a manager. Could I speak with a manager please." Them: "You can tell me your problem" Me: "OKay, I have series of problems. Could I speak with a manager now please?" Them: "you can only speak with a manager if you have a good reason." Me: "What? it has to be what YOU think is a good reason for me to speak with a manager?" Them: "Yes." Wow, great customer service. Not. I finally speak with a "case manager" in the US who says she will file a complaint with their company (really? Ooh, I wonder what will happen. I'm guessing nothing) and suggests I call Home Depot back since I have an extended warranty. Done and did. Getting someone else to come out. First impressions count A&E aka Sears. Your first impression with me is also your last. I did tell the "case manager" that I would be letting everyone know about their lousy company. Consider yourself warned. Stay away from them.
