If you're looking for a truly relaxing experience, come to this salon. Within walking distance of Notre Dame campus. Very busy location and has the largest selection of polish and colors in the area.

She called herself making my toenails even. What she did was file them down too short and crooked. Look at the 2nd and 3rd toenails!

I asked if they had a new bottle of the orange polish because the one on display was empty, the young girl tossed it in the trash and never said anything else about it. Orange is my favorite color My nail tech, older lady, filed my toenails too short and tried to justify it by saying she was making them even. BS. Clearly they are slanted, crooked or whatever you want to call it. This is not a friendly or even welcoming group of women, especially to newcomers! Don't waist your time. Oh let's not forget I wanted a pedi and a mani....she sent me on my way without giving me the option of refusing that service. I never argued or said anything except ok to them

Do not waste your time with this nail salon. When asked upon entry what I wanted, I named that I would like a French full set with colored tips. The manager asked what color and I said pink or blue, but I hadn't decided yet. I sat down with another technician and she began what I thought would be a lovely manicure. When I noticed the design wasn't looking as nice as I hoped, I tried to speak up but was disregarded. The manager came to help my technician and I resolve the issue, and she was angry with me as we disagreed on what I asked for versus what I actually got. Upon leaving the nail salon, I couldn't bring myself to come back to campus with such horrific looking nails. When I asked the manager to just file off the first look and give me a solid blue manicure, she agreed but not without giving me dirty looks. She was extremely rude as she redid my nails. I am college student who just wanted to treat herself before Spring Break, and I'm not in a position to just waste money like this. Please look at the first two pictures I've attached; does this look like a manicure worth $60? I would give 0 stars if possible.

My nail tech was very rude the entire time. They didn't have nude acrylic, gems or glitter so I couldn't get the designs I wanted. She changed the price on me twice even though I literally got the bare minimum. The tech also made my ring finger bleed and bruised my thumb but she didn't care at all - I had to ask her for a napkin because she just looked at the blood confused as to how it got there?

Date of service 12/30/21. I wish I can give this place a ZERO star. I walked in and people there aren't welcoming but I still went ahead and give them a try. I picked what color I wanted for my gel polish(#48) then I was told to go to table #5. I don't know what is my nail technicians name but older lady. Its too much to type but clearly she is not doing her job very well. She grabbed the #48(color/number that I picked) bottle and showed it to me. I told her the color I chose was more like a lilac color. Then she said "This yeah yeah" My understand was, it is the color I wanted and it might be showing blue on the bottle. She barely did anything on my nails. She applies 3 different bottles, foundation, gel polish and top coat far from my cuticles. It looks like my nails are 2 weeks old with the gap from my cuticles. Not to mention, dead skin all over my cuticles still and on my nails too. I don't want to keep complaining to her. After we finished I met her at the counter. I showed her the ##48 on the color sample and the color she applied on my nails. She then laughed and started talking in different language to Tracy(another lady might be the manager)I just want to point out to her how different the 2 colors are. Yet, I still said "Its okey" I just want to leave and the color is still pretty. The I asked how much? She said "$50 for gel". I handed her my card and she asked me if the tip is going on the card too. I said "yes" then she asked me "How much?". I told her "$5" (because I wasn't happy with the service) She handed me receipt to sign and I am being charged for $60. So I asked her why $60 it should only be $55. $50 for gel and $5 for tip. She then wrote on the paper while saying "$50 gel okey?, $5 nail okey?, $5 tip okey? I asked her to explain me why there are 2 charges. And she keep telling me the same answer over and over. So i guess she doesnt want my $5 tip and she thinks she deserves $10. NEVER GOING BACK!

My purple nails turning brown after 2 days. They accused me of dying them with hair dye and I have never dyed my hair in my life.

Donna McGowen no longer works here. She works at Nature's Nail Spa 1813 South Bend Ave. She does the best job in town.

Great service, amazing pedicures. Not too good on designs though. I had to go back home and redo my design on my nails.

Best nail salon in South Bend. Great colors and Phu takes his time to ensure a wonderful mani or pedi!

She would not file my nails down properly leaving them looking very thick and she would just rush through my pedicures which is supposed to be a relaxing time. I eventually left and went elsewhere and I have a new nail tech who does a great job.

The one doing my mani-pedi seemed irritated and condescending the entire time. Instead of providing a relaxing experience, he pushed me repeatedly to get gel polish--even after I declined. He even went so far as to ask my friend to convince me, which was unnecessary and uncomfortable. At one point, he commented that he could "tell I barely get pedicures," which was rude and unprofessional. On top of that, both men spoke in another language, but their body language and tone made it obvious they were talking about us. We also noticed them being dismissive toward other customers--one even returned right after her appointment because her nail chipped, and others walked out due to long wait times. To make matters worse, my manicure left me bleeding. While he did apologize, after four years of experience (as he mentioned), I would expect basic skill and care to prevent that from happening. It also seems like appointments are not prioritized properly, adding to the frustration. With so many other salons in the area, I'd recommend choosing somewhere else that values professionalism, customer comfort, and quality service.
