We had our home our home moved by A&N Swift Movers and the service was unfortunately poor at best. They not only ruined some of our furniture (see attached pictures) they completely missed rooms and acted like they did know furniture was there. The worst part is that they, after initially responding to messages, have now decided to completely ignore our request for resolution with the move. We even paid but asked that they take responsibility for the damage and reimburse us. In our opinion, this is disrespectful and now the owner won't return calls. After scheduling the move, the owner, contacted us to reschedule our move. He said that they over booked and wanted us to change our moving date, obviously, he was told no we could not reschedule. He must have sent a couple of newer movers because most of the reviews state that he was part of the moving crew, and he was not there for the move. They even acknowledged damaging some of the furniture with Nemer offering to take $50 off the invoice. We said no it'll be $100 and he agreed then we started seeing all of the other damaged furniture. The dining and buffet, a desk, mattress and the fridge were all significantly damaged. The owner agreed to meet and look at the furniture but called back later to say he was too busy and that he spoke to his guys and they didn't see any damage to the fridge, apparently we made it all up. According to the owner, his movers told him there were a lot of boys there moving stuff, yes, our three sons and a friend who were helping unpack and get our move done. I guarantee they did not damage this furniture. Only one of the boys stayed at the house when the movers chose to load the fridge and move the majority of the things. The damage to the fridge is clearly from the straps being too tight because it's the same on both sides, left worse than the right. The scuffing along the edges is obviously from getting it into and out of the truck or rubbing inside the truck. They didn't even bring the fridge handles with them to the new house to put back on. We haven't touched the fridge since, other than to open it. We haven't moved it at all and I haven't put the handles back on. When the owner cancelled meeting, he asked me to send him pics and he would take a look and call me back to discuss it and set up a time to come out. We sent 5 pics, followed with a phone call asking that he acknowledge receipt of the pics and please call me back. Nothing... Called again on Sunday, Monday and by Tuesday I sent him another text... Still Nothing. We hope that with this review, we can stop another family form becoming victimized by this type of customer service during one of the most difficult times a family can have..... Nemer (the manager) was very professional when I spoke with him on the phone for a quote. Not only was the price outstanding but he was able to accommodate the time and day for me on such a short notice. On moving day, him and his crew were punctual, and professional again. They made sure they knew exactly what the job was before executing. Once they knew what they were doing, they went to it. Other companies drag ass especially if they are getting paid by the hour but not these guys. Nemer showed up himself to do the job and make sure it was done correctly. Saturday Nov 4th 8 am. A& N Swift movers arrived as promised. They loaded and unloaded my furniture and boxes in two hours....in the rain! Nemer and Tigren were very courteous and respectful. They wrapped my couch and bed in plastic since it was raining. They also laid blankets on my carpeting so as not to soil it. I hesitate to write a less sterling review here as I understand they just started their business. I always support local business but I want to help them improve so they can compete in market. Here are a couple suggestions: 1) Please always notify customer when you are late. Instead of telling your customer "this is the way moving industry works", call them or text them to assure you will show up in their stressful day, BTW, confirm with your customer the night before also helps. I actually never received a confirmation with their contact info except my deposit receipt so I have no way to contact them. 2) Be efficient with your work. The young people you sent are very nice and sweet, but apparently they don't have much experience. At the beginning I saw them getting two chairs and rode the elevator up for a trip. So I started to work together with them and gave them directions such as pack things up in elevator before going up. The apartment facility manager told me this is the least experienced moving crew she's seen given hundreds of moves a year in her apartment. Again, I understand this is a new business and you've got really good and loyal employees, and I hope you can make improvements so I may use you again in the future. read more

The movers were very fast, careful, and courteous (albeit late). I was very happy with their work. The owner or scheduler asked to change the appointment at the last minute, after I had gone to great lengths to make arrangements, so I lost a day's income and unnecessarily traumatized my dogs since I lost the help I had lined up; but there was no offer of a discount or anything to compensate for accommodating their problems. read more

I had gotten a quote through yelp through adil and he was super responsive throughout the booking process. Murshid and Neymar called me 30 mins before they were supposed to arrive and came right in the beginning of their 2 hour window. They loaded up the truck fast and were accommodating to all of my crazy requests. We drove ahead of them and they came and unloaded super fast too. We had A&N do two moves. First they performed a very difficult hot tub move. They did it efficiently and effectively at a very good price. Then, we had do a household move - a good sized move, essentially 2 bedrooms plus office house from Roseville to Rio Vista. Nemer and his crew were terrific. They damaged my brand new bedroom set and a antique dresser, they sent out a person to repair my furniture, the job was acceptable, but it was my new bedroom set, and when I called to set up my appointment, I specifically told them that my new set was to be wrapped because it was new. The head board and foot board and mirror was not wrapped at all, my dresser was wrapped and the truck was so filled that it got 2 big chips out of it, my high boy dresser was wrapped as well, it had chips and scratches on it as well. I called the owner and requested a refund and he told me I could get a refund or I could pay for the repairs bill on my furniture, but I couldn't have both, he also told me that i was being mean to his company, because I wanted both. Over all I would never use them again and I would tell all my family and friends never to use them either. They are not licensed, or bonded and are not insured which I just found out on Angie's list. Their web page says the are licensed and insured and bonded. I can believe that they are on Angie's list. Go to show that angies list will let anyone join it. read more
