Easy process! Very friendly. They went above and beyond to get my car fixed, covered by insurance, and cleaned.

Brought in a 2017 Mercedes GLC-330 for bodywork. The usual damage from the road wars: dings, dents, gouges, scrapes. Naturally we were a bit skeptical when we first visited; the shop is not glamorous and the office is unassuming. They have several buildings and bays and the shop was busy. After two weeks the car was ready and the job was done. The car was spotless. Every ding was undinged, every scratch unscratched, every dent undented. Actual work was good, but communication could use some work. Their initial estimate was Thursday by 4, but I had to call them to get an updated estimate multiple times. They told me it would be done the following day (Friday). When I called on Friday, the shop told me they didn't have the person available to get all the repairs done, so I would have to go the weekend without the car, but I should be able to get it on Monday. When I woke up on Monday, however, I received a notification from the Carwise website that they used to provide estimates (which they hadn't updated since the original Wed. estimate) that the estimate was now Wednesday at 4pm. They did not call me to update me, so I had to call them only to find out they were waiting for another part to come in, which was something not communicated to me at all through the first two delays. The car was also not ready on Wednesday, but it was finally done on Thursday. There's a serious lack of communication in timing updates, which sucked because I could handle making alternate transportation plans over the initial timeline and even the first two delays over the weekend, but I figured I would get the car by Tuesday and I had to scramble to make other plans on Tues/Wed/Thurs. In the end, the work did look good and I haven't heard any new creaks, rattles, or banging on the new parts. They replaced the two passenger doors on my essentially 1 year old car and it does look like new. Claims process was also seamless with Geico, so it was nice to not have to mess with either A&P or Geico any more than I needed to. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP -- I stopped by to book an auto body appointment on Monday 7/17/23 and asked to get a quote. The woman at the front desk told me I'm "legally required" to select their shop for services if I receive a quote, regardless of whether I agreed with their assessment, "for legal reasons." That's a lie. Massachusetts vehicle owners have a right to shop around for repairs and receive a written quote before agreeing to repairs. read more

I had been rear ended on the highway a few weeks prior, and my insurance listed this shop as one of it's preferred repair locations. I gave it a shot and these guys were a pleasure to deal with. They are super nice, helpful, and quick. My car ended up having damage behind the bumper, so they fixed that and dealt with the insurance people with no hassle on my end. A new bumper and repaired re-enforcement was completed in one day. Not to mention they returned my car washed as well! I'd definitely recommend these guys to a friend. read more

Great service, perfect finish. My car had been swiped by a snow plow. I had a deep groove in my door and nicks in my side mirror. Alan and his team found more scratches on the rear door that I had missed, and repaired those too. In addition, I later found a few minor problems about a month later. My jeep was hit by an ambulance at MGH in Boston the body shop did a great job repairing it however upon picking it up whoever cleaned it had gone through my console where in the bottom I kept a bag of change hidden with a bunch of stuff on top of it everything but the bag of change was there so they obviously have a thief working for them I would not go back to them because of this. read more

I was in a tough situation as I had an accident right before my move to Virginia. I got different quotes and most shops told me that it was going to take 2 to 3 weeks to repair my car. My car recently got hit while in the parking lot at my job, so I filed an insurance claim, and A&P was the closest body shop to my house. The owner, Alan, made himself available from the very first day when I scheduled my appraisal, and has been awesome ever since. He did the work to repair the accident damage on time and very well, and was super friendly throughout the whole process. When I accidentally scratched my car a week later, he let me bring it back in and buffed the scratch out for free. I haven't dealt with a ton of auto body shops before, but this was by far the easiest and most pleasant experience I have ever had. I left my car with A&P collision to have a bumper cover replaced. When I got my vehicle back there was a check engine light on and it wasn't reading any temperature. The owner of the store called me a liar and practically chased me all the way into my car and then slammed my car door as I tried to leave. I'm horrified. read more

I came here based on a recommendation from an auto repair/detail business. A & P was able to reattach my splash shield, recommend where I purchase a new one, and then installed it later that day. They did all of this free of charge. If I ever need major work done in the future, this will be high on my list. read more

We chose them as they were a preferred provider for liberty mutual, but I'm glad we did. My wife's Saab was nearly totaled and Alan and his team did a beautiful repair-a tough job as it was difficult to source the parts. This shop is simply amazing. I have been here 3 times. Each time, no matter if just a buff or fixing my cars, they treat you excellent. I have brought my 2012 WRX (satin white pearl) after I got t-boned and they fixed it perfectly. I couldn't find ONE thing wrong with it and I am very anal about my car. I traded that in for a 2015 Ranger Rover. I got side swiped in that and brought it to A&P that day. He gave me a quote and set me up 2 days later to get it buffed out. Very good prices. Alan Larose is always there to help me out. Alan is a very professional owner and has put in many years into cars. I had a problem with the door of my car not sealing, so that the lights inside the car kept coming on. I had this problem with another care several years ago and I remember it cost a couple of hundred dollars to fix. I went to A and P, and waited in their waiting room while they took a look at it. Five minutes later, the guy came out and told me he'd fixed the door, and there would be no charge. It's been a few months now and no more problems. Brought my vehicle in for insurance repairs from an accident. The insurance company recommended A&P for the repairs. I was under the impression from the shop that i had to leave it there for the repairs to be payed for by the insurance company. Turns out i have the right to have it repaired anywhere, but thats my fault for not reading into my policey and listening to a little smooth talker that runs the place. They had my vehicle for over 2 weeks for repairs that were around 2200 dollars. When the vehicle was complete i received a phone call from Al stating my car was ready and could be picked up any time until 5pm. (called me at 330). i cant just get out of work and go pick up my car. I ended up picking it up in the morning when i could. As i pulled up to get it i noticed that the rear door and rear bumper colors didnt look like they matched. I mentioned it to the little grumpy guy and again with his smooth talking he stated that they have to paint ajacent panels "door" and repaired and repainted the bumper. he said almost all bumpers never match even from the factory. Myself not wanting to be late for work just let it go. A few days later in my garage i noticed a lot of paint flaws, there were a bunch of little holes and what looks like sand in some spots. Most people who would see that would bring the car back to them and make them fix it but living out of state i didn't want to take anymore time out of work and to be without a car any longer. also according to the paperwork i received back from them. it says that buffing and cleaning was done on the vehicle but i found loads of dust and crap all over the inside and outside of the car. I never write reviews but i thought i would to let people know to ask the right questions and don't always listen to the insurance company or body shop, also not to believe everything you see on the internet because i thought it was a top grade shop with state of the art equipment but what i seen was most of the pictures on there website where not taken in that place. read more
