Pretty much ruined my Tundra Truck. I took the truck in for a repair on the bumper and headlight. Their cost estimate caused the insurance company to Salvage title the truck. The work took a couple months even though there was not much to repair. But the worse part was they managed to deploy the passenger airbag. They refused to own up to the problem even through the airbag deployed while the truck was their possession, so I have no idea what they did to deploy the airbag. Toyota did not warranty it because the truck was older. They didn't offer to do anything to help it was just "Tough Dude, too bad". If they had even offered to split the cost of replacement I would have been happy. But they did nothing and now the truck is worthless. Extremely disappointed they did not do anything to help me out. read more

I was told I would have my car back in 3 days, but they had it 3 weeks. They didn't call me to inform me of delays & did not return my phone calls. I had to call repeatedly hoping someone would answer. I was finally told I could pick up my car the following day, drove in w/ friend to pick up car and was told it wasn't ready yet. I live an hour from body shop & this was a major inconvenience. That being said, the body work looks good. Customer service was very poor. read more

A&R is great! I was recommended to A&R by USAA insurance. My car was broken into during a road trip and there was crowbar damage to the back lift gate and bumper of my Mazda CX-5. A&R made the entire process incredibly easy. They were flexible with my scheduling needs (moving and trips) and helped me to get my car fixed in a timely manner. The work is spotless and looks brand new. They are really nice people and the shop is easy to find. I also appreciated that my insurance was able to work directly with them so I didn't have to do any negotiating. I highly recommend them! read more

A&R Collision in Taos is by far the worst customer service of any business I have ever dealt with. My car was quoted 8 days to be fixed and thinking closer to 2 weeks would be more realistic, but, no, here I am nearly 3 months later without a completely fixed vehicle. I have had my car "returned" to me on 3 different occasions and twice before I even left the parking lot I noticed things still not completed. The owner would pass blame to the insurance company, (Geico; who by the way guarantees only this shops work in town) and and then "fix" the problem. I have had broken promises since day one here. And today I was told to come in with cash for $90 over my deductible. When I asked why, I was argued with that my check was returned (I paid my deductible last week when I thought the car was ready, before I realized the driver side door wouldn't lock and the airbags were no longer working) and that was the fee. I did make a stop payment for the $500 because I wasn't going to pay for a seevice that was not completed. I did make good on a check made for a separate service rendered. I let Debbie know that she was wrong and she argued that she was right as she was looking at her statement online. I show up with a copy of the cleared check and low and behold, I don't even get an apology. Something this shop doesn't do is admit fault or get the job done on time or properly. I'd advise anyone to stay away from this shop and do what I should have done and gone to Torres Auto Body. read more

The service was outstanding! Accidents are obviously unexpected. When they happen 500 miles from home, solutions can become complicated very quickly. Jerome, Debbie and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to quickly get answers on the extent of the damage and the projected repair time. When the best decision was to tow it home due to the holidays and predicted snow storm, they were most helpful to careful pack up all the parts and label things for the next serviceman. The whole crew stayed late and helped get everything carefully loaded for the tow truck. The friendly, honest service we received made us wish we could have stayed for them to repair it! By the way, their reputation among the locals is stellar and they had plenty of business to back it up! read more

I was not impressed. The man I spoke with when I went in was not very interested in working with what I did and did not want done. He just wanted to see the insurance estimate and charge me that amount. I have no idea about quality of work because I went with Torres Auto Body. Torres worked with me and I saves $200 on what the insurance paid me and I am very pleased with the quality of the work. If you go with this guy, maybe do not show him your insurance estimate. read more
