I hand them my car key and let them know what I needed done with my vehicle. Then, I go in the small waiting area with a window and pay the cashier for it. They have a snack vending machine there and the bathroom. They are definitely a Quick Stop!...they are super fast! The quickest car oil change I had ever been to. Within 20 minutes, I am out of there. On that waiting duration, they have check your lights, air filter and other things to make sure your car is in a good running condition. I was on a road trip with my friend and our catalytic converter broke. We were panicking and nowhere else in Taos could see us before the next week, by which time we were supposed to be far across the country. But the woman at Friday Motors agreed to squeeze us in. And then, when it turned out there was more damage than we thought and they didn't have the part on hand because of how old the car was, she contacted multiple places before finding one that could overnight the part and we were able to drive off the next evening. At least Jiffy Lube was honest about the price up front. Everything was great until I got the bill: While they're changing your oil they try and upsell you on all this stuff, which is typical. But I did NOT agree to any of it. However, my $79.99 oil change ballooned to $130 because they charged me for an oil filter. I have never been to a place where the filter wasn't included in the price. It definitely does not say that on the pricing sign. The other possibility is the guy who was trying to upsell me tricked me into upgrading the oil filter. At one point he showed me the filter he was putting in and said "this is a synthetic oil filter." All I said was "oh cool." I just thought he was showing me, along with other things he showed me like the condition of the oil drain plug and washer. I NEVER agreed to any upcharge for a synthetic oil filter. I explicitly told him many times I was getting the oil changed because I was putting the truck up for sale. I'm not going agree to a fancy, and quite frankly pointless upgrade. So whether they just charge separately for the filter all the time or this guy scammed me, this company employs deceptive practices to make more money so beware.

The only thing they could not fix was the Check Engine light was on. They said at the onset that it might not respond to the service they were doing. When their service did not solve the problem as they gad guessed, they suggested I seek out a mechanic. Since I was not having driving problems the mechanic who was recommended by a friend, said it was driveable. I have been driving it without any difficulties. I actually feel comfortable as they did a 33 point inspection. I would highly recommend their services.
