While setting up our Motorhome camp site I broke the pull tab off of the awning... after it had started to unroll. I am 76 and don't do ladders anymore... and I for sure no longer go on the roof of our RV. I had called a mobile awning repair in Glen Rose, Texas the prior week... and they never even called me back. But now I had an issue that was not just and inconvenience... I could not drive the Motorhome. The park gave my Cody Burrows' name and I called him. I texted my information and two photos of the awning. He arrived right on time at 8:00am the next day. He could have ripped me off so easily. He is a retired Marine... his truck was spotless... his attitude warm, friendly, assuring, and Professional. He hopped up my Motorhome ladder... laid down across the roof hanging over the awning... unjammed the locking mechanism and hand rolled up the awning. Came down and told me I was good to go. Never once suggested I needed to stick around and let him fix it for a huge fee. I asked him how much I owed him... $20. I could not believe it. 2022 and I have found an honest mobile mechanic that is a super nice guy. Our trip could have been ruined by a non-ethical repairman. We might have been sold a new awning and expensive labor. Instead... he treated us kindly and fairly. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
