I have been a customer of A+Auto for over ten years, they have always exceeded my expectations. When another driver hit my vehicle and totaled it in February 2020, Gabe assisted me in storing my vehicle until the insurance adjuster could come out. He handled everything and even went out searching for a replacement car for me. He answered all of my phone calls and questions that I had about potential replacement vehicles and helped me narrow down my next car. When he found the 2012 Hyundai Genesis, he called me to see if I wanted to take a test drive. Knowing that the vehicle was throughly vetted by A+ Auto and that they stood behind their sales was really important to me. I liked the car and an hour later I was driving it off the lot. The service was excellent and they even handled all of the paperwork to complete the new vehicle registration and taxes. Welp it happens, the years of driving like a mad man and the salt in the air got to my baby. A couple of days ago my vehicles brake light turned on, after some inspecting I realized I was leaking brake fluid out of my passenger side line, whomp. So I did the only thing I could think to do, I sent a message out for Auto Service in the Yelp app within 10 minutes A+ Auto Service got back to me and gave me a quote for a tow ( a much cheaper cost than most). They came that night to pick her up and just like that I let my girl into the arms of another man. The next morning I received a call that they had already assessed the issue to the vehicle, gave me a reason for why it may have happened and then proceed to explain the procedure they were going to do to fix it, the time it may take and what other issues they may find, followed by a rough estimate of cost. Unfortunately, the poor girl had some issues that they found along the way, but every time they gave me a cal to explain everything again and give a rough estimate before going ahead with the repair. Finally, after two days she was all fixed up and ready to come home, a quick turn around and friendly customer service all around. Would return again for any other vehicle issue! Do not go here. Sketchy as hell. Brought my car in for a straight forward service and oil change and when I got my car home realized the engine coolant was damn near empty, topping off of all fluids Is included in service. Had to bring my car back to them to get it topped off (no apology or admittance of fault on their end, they actually tried to play like it had already had been done which it hadn't- very unprofessional. Just apologize and fix the problem, SIMPLE). Not even a day later I had to pull over on the side of the road with warning symbols blaring in my car and engine coolant pouring out of my car. Check engine light is now on when my car had zero issues when I initially brought it in. Not sure what the hell they did to my car but a simple service is now turning into a 500$ bill. Called them to ask what could be wrong and to try to set up a tow to them and got back loads of attitude and AGAIN to admittance of fault or sympathy for my situation. Never bringing my car here again. Will update this review once the new shop tells me what they did to my car. read more

You know the worst part of getting a vehicle repaired? Finding someone trustworthy. A Plus gets an A+ for being honest and upfront; they are very transparent in their interactions, taking the time to explain what's wrong with your vehicle and the associated costs. They also offer a free shuttle to get you to and from their shop. I was in Charleston for work when my electric steering went out, and they were able to assess and repair the malfunction in a timely manner, relieving much of my stress. Overall, an excellent experience dealing with A Plus. read more

We had a window malfunction and took our car to A +. We got there more than 15 minutes after closing time and they still came out to try and help us. All of the mechanics had gone home already, but the guy in the office offered to set up a time for us to bring our back. We eventually got the window to roll all the way up after they spent about 20 minutes trying to help us! They wouldn't allow us to pay them so we at least made them take $10 but that was the most they would take. These guys are great! read more

A+ has been a consistent, trustworthy auto shop for us and our auto service and maintenance needs. The manager has always taken time to explain to me exactly what is going on with my car, any uncertainty that they have with the diagnosis, and the best/cheapest way to proceed. I've never seen any evidence of them trying to sell me something that I don't need--that is important! I have a Chrysler Pacifica that now has 200K miles on it! It is going strong. Took my car here because the check engine light was flashing. Excellent customer service! Jaime was very friendly. He took my money with a smile--knowing that my car was not fixed properly.. in fact, they replaced the torque mounts which i dont believe have anything to do with the engine light! 2 days later my check engine light is flashing again, and my car was shaking like crazy! Spoke with Jaime and he gave me some mechanic song and dance and wanted me to bring it back. NO WAY! For the amount of money they charged me, I feel as though they should've concentrated on addressing the issue(s) and doing the job RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. read more

Liars! The general manager is a shady mechanic that does not stay true to his word. I sold my old car to them (at their request) and they took advantage of my kindness by lowballing me and then reneging on their promise to pay for a tint job on my new car as part of the deal to obtain my old car title. Then the general manger played the "come back in two weeks" game for three months. I politely followed up in-store, with phone calls, Christmas cards, and many emails only to be ignored. I did not want to harm their business (as a business manager myself), but their actions must have consequences. Don't let this happen to you. Be careful, because they take advantage of kind people! read more

I am very impressed with these guys. After the timing belt change on my car they had to troubleshoot a difficult issue. My car was stalling at random times. They eventually found that the problem was that the after market security system was malfunctioning and shutting off the engine. It was not easy to troubleshoot because the code related to the security system was not stored in the car's computer. This was my second visit to them. read more
