George took care of her to get her back on the road to MI. My 2025 Buick Encore was invaded by mice and chewed up everything they could to nest above the fuel tank. Fixing this was not covered by the warranty and was going to come out of my pocket. The repair required dropping the fuel tank. Finding replacement hoses, engine straps etc. took time on the phone and overnight deliveries. George is the guy you want to go to! He was professional, informative, honest and reasonably priced. Made an Apt the week before for brakes, tires and oil. Get truck there at 8 AM and make sure it all can get handled that day. I call at 1PM to check and its all good no problem. Had a slow leak in a tire I had purchased here. I called for an appointment on Friday morning, and they were very busy, so I said I'd call again. I know that automotive problems can take longer to fix than planned. I called on Monday morning, and the man said he would call me when they could help me. And he did. I was ready and rushed over. They were finishing up a job, and got my car in. The slow leak, now at 22 p.s.i., was a leaky valve stem. They fixed it. I knew that tires purchased here don't have Road Hazard, so I paid and left. The best part was waiting in the "museum" room. Wow. Mr. Ed, the owner, has a wonderful eclectic collection of fun items. I had no problem looking at the stuff while waiting. This shop not only ripped me off, but they also rip off a great program for low income persons. I asked for them to find an oil leak. (I was told they could not) I asked for an oil change and new oil filter. (this they did) I asked for them to fix steering problem (was told rack and pinion was replaced) I asked for my rearview mirror to be glued back up. I asked for a complete list of all other items small or large that needed fixing, (was told, "we really don't know BMW's") Then why take Geauga county's $1000 dollars and then MY $2500 dollars. The day I picked my car up there was a crunch on the driver's side door which they denied doing. 3 days later the mirror fell off and i discovered someone had taken a side grinder to the back of the mirror and took out chunks of aluminum. Then the steering tightened back up less than one week after spending several thousand dollars having it fixed. I calmed down and took it to Swedish Solutions in Cleveland Heights. Here's a list of just some of the items they found, 1) Oil Filter Housing Seals & Solenoids For Vanos System * $680.98 Leaking 2) Passenger front spring is broken. It appears someone tried doing struts and snapped the bolt holding the strut to the knuckle off. Bolt will have to be drilled and tapped out of knuckle. (could it be them???) 3)Driver front axle boot is torn and slinging grease all over the knuckle, Replace Front Left Outer CV Boot $439.94. (This they should have fixed) 4) The front rearward control arm bushings are worn, the ball joints are tight but the bushings at the subframe are worn. Recommend replacing the front rearward control arms. (This could have been fixed) 5) The absolute best, Oil pan is leaking 6) Inner and outer tie rods very rusted. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE read more

I am a Columbus resident, but I will drive the 3 hours it takes to go to this shop. They have done work for me at least 6 or 7 times. From brakes to tires to the timing belt, cruise control, etc. They are VERY knowledgeable. The owner Ed has the biggest heart, and not only goes the extra mile, but goes the extra 10 miles for his customers. Steve, the shop manager, has always done an exceptional job at keeping me informed, tirelessly works to find parts quickly, and has always made sure he finds the best price possible. My last visit I had an air bag issue. Through Steve's research he found the part was under warranty as it is a safety item. This saved me $300-$400 extra dollars. They could've replaced it, charged me, and I would've never known, but instead the team at A B are honest, hard-working people who give generously to their community. They cut both e brake cables without informing me. Also failed to bleed out ny breaks after replacing calipers. When i adressed it I got excuses and argumentative behavior. Beyond dissapointed. Spending 300$ to have the mistakes replaced. Do not reccomend. read more

When we moved from Old Brooklyn to Bainbridge we rented a Uhaul Trailer from A B. Going from the West Side to the East Side, we needed a good, reliable and affordable mechanic. Something we hadn't found on the West Side. They are AWESOME! NO BS fees for crap, $ per labor hr low. It is like you're paying a little over the cost of parts. They don't try to upsell you or tell you something is wrong that isn't. The shop has cool nostalgic odds and ends on display, the owner is super fun to talk with. They are quick and bend over backwards for you. My wife and I won't go anywhere else. Based on experience over the phone I would not recommend. . A friend recommended this place to me because he said they would pick up the car and bring it back while at work. I called to confirm whether they offered this service or not and their response was as if I kicked their dog. I wasn't asking to be treated special - just if they did or didn't offer the pick up service. The first girl on the phone acted annoyed and put me on the phone with a guy who made it sound like I was inconveniencing him. I ended up going somewhere else for the tire repair. You only get 1 chance to make a first impression- they failed miserably.
