    This is how Mr. Tire in Solon gave me my car back after an alignment

    I handed my car in for an alignment after front end work elsewhere. After the Mr. Tire alignment , the steering wheel came back not center and pulling to the left (so you have to keep the steering wheel rotated to the right by around 10° to drive straight; see photograph below). I presented back on Saturday, May 11 to ask about it. I was very polite and professional. The middle-aged gentleman working that day at 5 PM became immediately defensive, raising his voice, and making statements that include "there's something wrong with that car.". My gentle response "it's OK, I'm just looking for clarification." Please may I see the alignment spec before and after?" His response "it's on your receipt (turns dismissively to walk away.)". I told him it's not on the receipt and I produced my receipt for him. He then proceeded to talk disrespectfully about the shop that did the work (which is ill-informed and SUPER unprofessional!) and then he gave me the before and after spec that was sitting right behind him and throws it down in front of me. I give him a zero out of 10 for customer service and for professionalism. They also marked items on the front end as faulty (double underlined with!, No less ) that were just recently replaced. So, of course, now they have lost my trust. They finally told me they think there's a steering column fault. Maybe there is something wrong with the car, but trust is lost and I've given them significant business with tires with another vehicle previously. My first mistake was not examining Yelp. Extremely low ratings and previous comments show this location is not favorable. When the comments are mixed like this, it's usually a sign that one or two employees are the problem. I could definitely identify the individual again when management reads this review if they would like to discuss. When customers post shared experiences, it tends to be reality. Quality and professionalism appear to be a very clear issue at this branch in Solon. I'm looking forward to hearing from senior management. I might soften my review if mediation occurs, depending on the outcome.

    I had excellent service. Skyler took good care of me. She was professional and knowledgeable. Hit tires put on and oil changed on a Sunday. I would come here to get truck serviced anytime.

    I wanted to share a positive personal experience we had with the Midas in Solon, Ohio. We had been…read morethere a couple of times to fix our Honda Civic in the past 6-9 months. The first time my muffler went out and they were able to get me in and help the very day after it happened. Several months later, as I started my car and began to drive to work, it began making funny noises. I didn't even call, just drove straight to Midas. No appointment, but they were understanding and willing to take a look at it while I left and went to work for the day. Again, they were able to fix it by the end of the next day (there was a leak in the power steering). Both fixes were minimal, painless, and very reasonably priced. They were quick, kind, and knowledgeable. As if this wasn't enough to make me want to come back...fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. On my way to work, my car (a manual), suddenly would not go into gear as I tried to shift. I coasted into a parking lot, called roadside assistance, and again made a call to Midas explaining my situation. My biggest fear was confirmed just under an hour after the car was towed to Midas...the clutch had given up and would need to be replaced. This was a 2007 Honda Civic with the original clutch (yes...Hondas are wonderful and the original clutch lasted 13 years!). Because the cost was going to be about what the car was worth even with a working clutch, we needed some time to think about our options. We had been debating getting a new car for some time so that thought came into play. Midas didn't have to be kind and give us time to think. They could have said, "not our problem, have your car towed somewhere else, we don't want it here." Instead, Kyle at Midas WAS kind and did give us the time we needed to make the best decision for us. I kept in contact each day to let him know what we were thinking our plans would be and each time he said, "it's okay, just let us know what you end up deciding." In the end we did end up getting a new vehicle and sold the Civic to a company that would come and tow it away. When we went to clean it out and spoke to Kyle once more his exact words were, "we are in the business, not just to make money, but to make sure that each customer is doing the best and right thing for them at the time. We support you as our customer and if this was the best thing for you then we are happy we were able to help in making that decision a little easier with not having to worry about what to do with the Civic in the mean time." Bottom line: Kyle and the team in Solon Ohio truly care about their customers. And as much as we don't necessarily want to see them often because that would mean something is wrong with one of our vehicles, you can guarantee that if something does happen, Midas in Solon will be our very first call/visit to figure out what is going on.     I brought my car to the Solon location after scheduling an appointment for two specific issues: a…read moresuspected oil/coolant leak and my heat not working properly. I clearly requested a full inspection because I am moving soon and needed my vehicle to be reliable. After having my car for a week (exactly 7 days), I approved diagnostic charges and repairs totaling over $700. Throughout the process, I repeatedly asked about the heating issue and was assured it would be addressed. However, when I picked up my vehicle, the heat was still not functioning properly -- and my car is still leaking coolant. When I called the next day, I was told the heating issue and engine issue are "separate problems" and that I would need to pay for another diagnostic. This is unacceptable. I reported both concerns at intake and was repeatedly assured they would be handled. I paid $730 and left with the same two problems I originally came in for. I expected a proper diagnosis and complete repair, not additional charges to address issues that were clearly reported from the beginning. Very disappointing experience.

I'm sorry but if you have the make and model the labor shouldn't vary and neither should the parts. I would stay away from this place if they can't be honest about a simple brake job that shouldn't vary in labor or parts then that means they are going to charge you whatever when you come here.
