nice ppl, good service. They fixed my heater hose assembly in a timely fashion. I asked them to do a break inspection when I dropped it off and when they called to say my truck was ready for pickup, they mentioned nothing about my brakes and then I asked them, and the guy said your brakes are all good, I asked about the pads and he said all my pads and rotors were fine. The very next day I heard grinding when stoppin, which got progressively worse. it's now 12 days later, and I just found out my rears are metal to metal, pads and rotors are done. They obviously forgot to check the brakes and lied to me and it cost me. read more

I handed my car in for an alignment after front end work elsewhere. After the Mr. Tire alignment , the steering wheel came back not center and pulling to the left (so you have to keep the steering wheel rotated to the right by around 10° to drive straight; see photograph below). I presented back on Saturday, May 11 to ask about it. I was very polite and professional. The middle-aged gentleman working that day at 5 PM became immediately defensive, raising his voice, and making statements that include "there's something wrong with that car.". My gentle response "it's OK, I'm just looking for clarification." Please may I see the alignment spec before and after?" His response "it's on your receipt (turns dismissively to walk away.)". I told him it's not on the receipt and I produced my receipt for him. He then proceeded to talk disrespectfully about the shop that did the work (which is ill-informed and SUPER unprofessional!) and then he gave me the before and after spec that was sitting right behind him and throws it down in front of me. I give him a zero out of 10 for customer service and for professionalism. They also marked items on the front end as faulty (double underlined with!, No less ) that were just recently replaced. So, of course, now they have lost my trust. They finally told me they think there's a steering column fault. Maybe there is something wrong with the car, but trust is lost and I've given them significant business with tires with another vehicle previously. My first mistake was not examining Yelp. Extremely low ratings and previous comments show this location is not favorable. When the comments are mixed like this, it's usually a sign that one or two employees are the problem. I could definitely identify the individual again when management reads this review if they would like to discuss. When customers post shared experiences, it tends to be reality. Quality and professionalism appear to be a very clear issue at this branch in Solon. I'm looking forward to hearing from senior management. I might soften my review if mediation occurs, depending on the outcome. read more

I made an appt!!! Called at 9 am and made appt for 1pm. Arrive there and am told it will be two and a half hours. !!! WTH!! Talked to "manager" Bob Anderson who proceeds to tell me "haven't you ever had to wait at a dr's office!???? What does that even mean???? I should have listened to the yelp reviews. I asked for the corporate guys number and he gave me a bogus number that goes right to a busy signal !! Meanwhile 6 other employees are all watching this while eating their lunches!!!! If you're dropping your car off I recommend you take everything and anything that can be stolen out. My partner dropped his car off at Mr. Tire for an oil change and a quick check up and they recommended that if he had a ride, to leave and just come back when they call him. They called us back about an hour later and said it would be about another hour and a half, and they would call when the car would be ready to be picked up. Mind you, that was around 4. They never called us back, not even to let us know that the car wouldn't be ready. We drove past the place and saw that his car was back on the lot in the front of the building. We tried to call and see if it was ready to be picked up at 7:15 but they closed at 7 and no one answered. Then we drove back later to come and find out that the car was left unlocked with his personal belongings inside. So not only was the car left unlocked, it was also on display at the front of the building in front of a major road in a busy city. In conclusion, if you're coming for a quick service and staying with your vehicle, it may take a while but at least you'll have it in your sights so you'll be fine. But if you have to leave your car there be careful and take anything valuable out because they may leave your car unlocked, and they may not call you before they close for you to come pick it up. So it will be left over night. Also the oil change was on the pricier side. It was originally $60 but they gave us a coupon which was nice but even $50 is still expensive. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. My son and his girlfriend came in to get a quote, both are young and work hard. My son was scolded by the manager by being called stupid for having such horrible brake. He also went through my son's personal belongings that were in his vehicle. When I tried to call and see what the issue was the manager Bob Tengler was incredibly rude and yelling on top of trying to make a citizen arrest for my "son's brakes being bad". I told Bob I will be talking to corporate as no customer should have to deal with being racially profiled, treated disrespectfully and have the police called all for wanting to have your brakes fixed. Really can't understand this manager's behavior. Suffice to say, another company will be getting our business and Bob Tengler will have some explaining to do to his bosses. read more

Always love taking my car here! They get me in quick and I trust them not to charge for things that are unnecessary. They even fill my air up in my tires for free! They recently looked over an estimate I got from a dealership and found out that they were trying to charge me for things I did not need, saving me around $4000. Not sure these other reviews but Bob was awesome. Here's why. I needed my new aftermarket rims put on because due to the terrible roads I had 4 bent rims! Bob said first he'd have to see if he could install them to make sure if the wheel style would not be damaged from his equipment. What I found out is some wheels can not be installed by specific equipment! He and Joe checked them out , got the approval to install, and stayed late to put them on for my trip to buffalo so I could be safe! Thanks to Bob and Joe for the excellent work! Had very poor customer service. Scraped up my wheel, couldn't get two of my tires off of the wheels, after they were able to get the first two done without a problem. The manager Bob promised to take care of it. I sent my Son to have to have the other two tires put on the wheels ( I removed the old tires myself), they said could not get the new tires on the wheels. I was also told that they balanced the first two wheels that they were able to get on, and they were not. No follow up call from the manager after turning my Son away. Never have I been more disappointed in a company than I am with this store today. My 18 year old son who's out of state in college was going to be home this weekend and needed tires for his vehicle. I set up an appointment on line for two front tires on Thursday and the website quoted a price of $97 per tire plus a 19.99 installation fee. I told my son the price. He went in at 9:30 this morning and when he was done he told me the total price was $315. I thought he was joking with me until he sent me the invoice. He went back in and the price was adjusted closer to what I was quoted on Thursday. Why he was charged so much in the first place is beyond me. This was nothing more than a company taking advantage of a Young Man! At least he was able to learn A Life Lesson never to go back to Mr. Tire. This will be the last time I go to Mr. Tire! After 3 attempts of Mr. Tire trying to repair my car windows which only need clips reglued, I I am left with more of a problem than I had when I started. My car windows were never repaired and I did not receive a refund. I left the parking lot after the third attempt with duck taped window on the drivers side and a bag over the passenger's window.I could not even see out of my passenger windows when exiting the lot, which was extremely unsafe. On top of that during repair on two separate occasions Mr. Tire left my windows open on their lot and poured down rain into my car. As of today, my car doors will now not even lock electronically as normal and was never a problem until I let Mr. Tire work on my windows. In addition to my windows not being fixed, the wiring and window motors are ruined. My brake lines were even severed during their repair of my power steering which was a successful. Mr. Tire new what they did to my brake lines and allowed me to drive off the lot. When I let then know I could barely stop, they advised the brake line issue was due to rust and would only repair it for over $600! How dare them. I let that go and they still screwed me with the window. DO NOT, I BEG, GIVE THEM BUSINESS. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. Knowing that Mr. Tire's states that their core values as a company are " T - R - U - S- T", I find it unfortunate that I have not had the proper experience to support this claim. Mr. Tire Solon made a clear choice to be negligent in my case and I will never forget it. I have to let others know of this horrific treatment. "TRUST" is not a light word, it's heavy and holds much weight and I am left to pick up the pieces when it come to my car windows. Mr. Tire Solon wiggled their way out of a promise to deliver with their expertise and has now dropped the weight on me that has transformed into a burden. Go anywhere but here. I paid for an oil change and tire rotation. Picked my car up and had to get gas and checked my tires. The right front has a scrape and I quickly saw it was in the same spot. I called and talked to Mark who confirmed with the tech that he didn't rotate the tires (even though the receipt said he did). I told Mark I am not happy about having to come back and said they need to take care of it quickly when I return. He assured me they would. Came back 2 days later and saw an open bay. I figured it would be a quick in and out. The guy at the desk who ended up being Jerry the manager told me it would be awhile as they had 2 techs and 3 jobs ahead of me. I explained that if they did what they claimed to do the first time that I would not be back. I also said this is a five minute job and he needs to make it right. He didn't care. When I told him I was calling corporate, he said tell them you dealt with Jerry the store manager. I am waiting on a reply. I just bought a battery from here and had them install it for me, didn't take much time and they gave me a good price. I've been going here for years. These guys have done a great job working on my vehicles. They have mounted, balanced, and rotated my tires on many occasions, plus every time I need a tire patched (which is more often then you might think) they always get it done fast and don't charge me much. They also do other things beside tires. When I had my timing belt replaced on an out of state trip and it would squeal, I took it to Mr Tire and they were able to get it right for me. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give 0 stars I would. My girlfriend set up an appointment here to get her oil changed because she had a $10 off coupon and she asked me to take her car in for her. My mouth almost hit the floor when the guy said the total for a full synthetic oil change was $84.10....and that was with the coupon (so the original price is actually $94.10). I called the chevy car dealership whose price was $53 and another auto shop which was $55. I also had another automechanic look at my bill from Mr tire and he said they severely overpriced the changing of the oil filter and charged $21.55 for labor on a job that only takes a couple minutes. The moral of the story is Mr. Tire scams you and if they are overpricing that much for oil changes then I can only imagine what they are overpricing on more expensive jobs. I will never use Mr. Tire again nor will I recommend them to anyone. Hopefully this review will save someone else from getting scammed by these snakes. read more

I dropped my car off here for an oil change. Without consulting me (they claimed to have the wrong phone number after carefully recording it in the shop), they used an expensive synthetic oil. I have been bringing my cars in to Mr Tire well over 7 years now and will be looking for a new oil change & tire place. This place is totally NOT trust worthy and Jerry the manger should feel guilty for the way he treated my in-laws after I reccommended them. They took in their 2012 Ford that only has 53,000 miles for a oil change and tire rotation. Jerry called them to say they needed the back brakes replaced because the fluid was leaking on the passenger side and the front ball joints and control arms needed replaced for a grand total of over $1100. He also said that the car was not drive-able and that his shop could complete all the work that day. Talk about taking advantage of the older generation!!! If Mr Tire would have actually taken the rear tires off they would of seen that the calipers, rotors and pads were just replaced and that there was NO leakage of any fluids. Also the front end is not viberating, shaking or pulling to any side whatsover. Trust me my mother-n-law baby's this car and I dont think the cars ever been over 65 mph on the highway! We had another mechanic friend look at this car and all the problems "Jerry" said were wrong and nothing seems to be wrong or needs replacing. Buyer beware....
