Bob was awesome. I moved into a new home wth no fewer than 10 keys for doors. Was trying to keep it all straight but still managed to lock myself out! His emergency service fee was the most reasonable I have ever seen and then when he picked open the lock in around 1 minute he would not leave without knocking out a few more lock related tasks I had on my list to make sure I was getting my money's worth. I have frankly never had anyone do that before. Usually the fee is the fee whether it takes 30 minutes or 30 seconds. He had some great tips for me regarding home security as well. I called Bob to get a quote and his price was by far the cheapest. We made an appointment for the next morning. He was friendly, polite, and did a great job. Other companies charged more for doors that you don't have the key for (which was 3/5 of my doors), Bob didn't even ask and took care of everything as is. I needed to have my door re keyed on a Friday afternoon. I called at 3 pm and was told he would be at my home in an hour. It took 2 hours for him to get to me, but I could understand traffic issues. I had one door done and was given 4 keys to it. he made 3 of the keys on ones that said DO NOT DUPLICATE. I do live in Sacramento, my area is called Antelope, but I'm still in Sacramento. From his website I had expected to pay $45, I paid more because he stated I was out of Sacramento. He was a nice man and the job was done quickly so I didn't argue and just paid the extra. read more

He will rekey a lock to any code you want and does not mind making additional keys for you. All for the same price. I use Robert on all my properties. Would you rather me have written the review right after, a review that would probably have been less objective and more negative, because it would have been fueled by the stress, fatigue and emotion from moving? The truth is, I had been too busy to sit and write Yelp reviews until the dust from the move had finally settled. No, I did not call you back to have you "make me happy." But that is my prerogative. In this day in age when people are so busy and basically time is money, I put alot of value in companies that do their work right the first time. Sure maybe you were having an off day, but how is that relevant? Its just an excuse.
