The owner of the business, Bob Parnell, reached out to me to apologize for the experience I had with one of his employees while he was out of town. Bob was so disappointed in my experience that he wanted to reimburse me for the cost of having someone else rekey my locks. Because I had not had the work done yet, he ended up coming out this Sunday and rekeyed my house at no charge. I must be honest...I called Bob up based on his reviews and the enticing name of his business. Like others have said, I have been taken for a ride when calling other locksmiths. I was his last call yesterday and he came to our house to install a new Schage lock on our front door and 3 other doors. He actually went to 2 Home Depots to pick out exactly what we needed, neatly piled the old hardware in a pile, gave lots of loving attention to our dogs and gave us a steep discount on the cost of his labor. While he does this as a side job to his Army Core of Engineers job, he is likeable, kind, conscientious and does quality work for a reasonable price. If I had more work, I would call him again in a heartbeat. Oh, and by the way, he threw in 8 free keys. I feel fortunate to have found him and will call again, should the need arise. Called Bob a few days ago and set up an appointment on Friday. Have been waiting at home for an hour at the scheduled time, but Bob did not show up. Called Bob's number again and another guy answered the phone telling me he doesn't see any scheduled appointment at the provided address. That guy told me Bob is out of town and won't be back until the 20th. I understand things happen, but if you really have an emergency, you better notify your customer to either re-schedule the appointment or cancel it!!! This company is HIGHLY unreliable!!! read more

I'm super confused at these amazing reviews. I called Thursday and left a message, no reply, but figured they must be busy. Then I called Friday around 3pm and spoke with a woman who told me the soonest available would be the next day anytime before or after 3pm. We scheduled for 1pm. Nobody showed, I called and left several messages to both the phone numbers listed on the website. Finally, I tried again in the evening around 6pm and a gentlemen answered. I told him nobody showed for our appointment. He responded that he sees an appointment for Sunday. Although I know I didn't book for Sunday as I was planning to go out of town for Memorial Day weekend, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and asked for his earliest appointment. We scheduled for 9:30am-10am window. Again, nobody is here as it is nearing 11. I called and no answer once again so I left another voicemail. Now I didn't go out of town and have been stood up twice. Terrible customer service. Not reliable. read more

Bob is a very down to earth, easy going and very honest guy. He told me some of the ins and outs of locks, locksmithing and the industry. He did a thorough inspection of all the locks and explained what he was doing (since I was interested) and gave me basic locksmithing 101. So impressed by Bob and how he does business. He came out to re-key all of our locks but after talking to him and telling him that we are looking to purchase new hardware, he advised us not to rekey yet and to just call him back out when we get the new hardware. Bob was awesome. Someone stole our keys and we needed the house rekeyed ASAP because we felt a little threatened since our keys were stolen actually at our house. He is as friendly as can be, was able to refer us someone that can help rekey our cars and his rate was wonderful. A lot of people try to take advantage of others in desperate situations and Bob did not at all. I had a little emergency - the front door to my business wouldn't lock after closing - and it was Saturday at 6:30 pm. I imagined a sky-high bill, after hours of waiting for someone to get here. Robert showed up literally 10 minutes after I called and had the job wrapped up in less than 45 minutes - then, and this is the best part - only charged me $45! Mind you, this is after hours AND on a weekend! we had a great conversation while he was working - he is truly a nice, honest guy and will do everything in his power to help you out and make sure you are happy! This business had a great rating so I scheduled an appointment with them and they did not show up. I called Bob's number and my call was forwarded and no voicemail. I called again now the phone didn't ring it went directly to voicemail. I left a message and less than 5 minutes later I recieved a phone call from a different number from someone other than Bob... I was confused how he even got the message but I still told him my situation and he said, "alright let me check with Bob." I did not recieve a phone call back. I tried to call back and once again no voicemail available to leave a message, even though earlier it was available. Really odd. I can understand people running late or even accidently double booking themselves but straight up not calling is unprofessional. I looked at more reviews after this and seen that they were no shows with other people as well, I'm surprised they have such a high rating. I ended up taking my business elsewhere.
