PLEASE READ!!! What locksmith takes your call on a Saturday and walks you through an issue for an hour then calls you back with more information on how to resolve the issue and doesn't charge you? Robert Frantz did. I'm not saying this is how he does business on the daily but he did this for my husband yesterday and was successful!! Long story short we purchased a large safe that would not go through my doorways so my husband had to remove exterior parts connected to the interlocking mechanisms of the safe. He slipped it through the doorway then tried to pull the door open and relized the latches locked during the move, and he had the handle taken off that opens the safe... Robert new every piece of the locking mechanisms to this particular brand of safe and explained exactly how it worked and how to get it unlocked. Robert was AWESOME!!! I have been dealing with a bad EMP lock on a Cannon safe. I had the safe for 13 years and the analog portion of the lock went bad. After dealing with Cannon warranty department for close to 4 months, jumping thru hoops to get repairs made, they finally approved repairs. Frantz Locksmith Services were selected and a new lock was sent to them. Once new lock was delivered Robert came over to replace the lock and spent over 2 hours to repair while I was at work and wife at home. When I got home I found I was able to open the safe at a specific number on the dial. I called Robert immediately and he was back at the house in minutes. He determined quickly it was a defective lock. Because I have a safe that wont lock, with firearms and valuables with children in the house, he put a new, lock that he happened to have. I needed a locksmith to rekey my front entry door. It was a complicated lock with a three point locking mechanism. Normally the lock would be picked while it's in the door but my lock needed to be removed in order to rekey it. Mr. Frantz was very patient and explained the process to me (per my request). In few words Robert is 20 year veteran and true pro!!! Here is my story. My safe got locked out and it was draining batteries every month or so. Many times when I installed new battery first time I would get error beep like I put wrong code and only in 10-20 minutes it would work. When I called Frantz locksmith guys who worked there forwarded me to owner Robert because he is the one who is dealing with safes. I spoke with Robert and he told me several different options he can try before drilling safe. He told me that there is a chance to try to open safe with giving safe slightly more voltage and it might work. After several different strategies he opened my safe and I was so relieved!
