I had researched quite a few companies before I decided to reach out to Ryan Lesak at Forever Dry…read moreBasement Waterproofing. I wanted to avoid dealing with larger, well-known companies. Quite frankly, based on past experiences with contractors, I didn't want to deal with sales people. People whose only job is to sell and aren't responsible for performing the actual work themselves. Salespeople are more interested in up charging and selling things you don't need in order to over-inflate the invoice and possibly earn a bigger commission. I prefer working with smaller, local companies that are honest and have a great reputation. That is what prompted me to reach out to this company. My experience working with Ryan Lesak at Forever Dry was wonderful. I can't say enough good things about his company. He was on-time for his appointment, super friendly, genuine and extremely knowledgeable. Not to mention, before the visit he spent 30 minutes on the phone with me discussing the issue, thinking it may be a foundation issue, and providing sound advice regarding condo bylaws, real estate, etc. His father happens to be a real estate attorney. After spending time investigating the issue, which included cutting some dry wall and visiting my next door neighbors unit, Ryan discovered the seepage I was experiencing was a result of my next door neighbor, (connecting townhome unit), who had some long-standing issues that they didn't fix in a timely manner. Their hot water heater was leaking and the condenser on their AC unit was clogged. The constant flow of water on in their utility room floor was seeping into my basement. Unfortunately, I incurred damage to my unit as a result. Ryan recommended resources I can call (handyman & carpet repair) once my neighbor resolves their issues. Despite my constant insisting, Ryan refused to charge me for the visit. This is unheard of. Who does that these days? No one! My experience was extremely positive with this company. I will definitely refer this business to anyone needing waterproofing repair. I am grateful I found this company.

Four seasons cams out to check it out and quickly identified the problem, and ordered the replacement part, which came in in about a week. Zac then came out to replace the pilot light assembly and was outstanding- took the time to organize the wires and very deeply clean the entire system. After installing the new part, he spent about 20 minutes explaining all of the parts of the fireplace to me, how they work, and how to troubleshoot potential issues. He was professional and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. Overall an outstanding company. Would absolutely use them again for any future issues or general maintenance. We called to schedule the appointment right as it was getting cold (so I'm sure their busiest time!) and they quickly and easily got us on the calendar.

Guy gives me a quote of 2k over the phone! I called them back exactly one week ago. No answer so I left another message requesting Zach to come out and look at my chimney then give me a more solid quote. No return phone call. I used them for a chimney sweep in October 2018 and was happy. Now however these guys are no better than the Fly By Night Albert the Chimney Sweep. Unreliable, unprofessional. I do not recommend using this company to anyone.

Seemed honest and nice. - it rained still seepage same spot called set up day no show, no call, called them back she apologized and rescheduled then..... END RESULT - owner Steve called back said he never said he would redo anything. Said the main thing we said we wanted was the cheapest way possible and to mud jack stoop. He just added sealent to interior and exterior basement to try and prevent seepage but that's not the main reason why we called him. Said we never said the word "waterproofing", we just mentioned a little seepage. Was very rude argued with me ending with him telling me they weren't coming back to do anything!! - NEVER SAID I WANTED THE CHEAPEST WAY POSSIBLE, he replied, "that was the feeling I got." THE ONLY REASON WE CALLED WAS WATERPROOFING FOR SEEPAGE!!!! We trusted the wrong company!! Trusted he really didn't want to overcharge us, excepted the additional jobs. Now we're left with same problem in same exact spot
