Mark this as your local favorite! The portions are huge, enough for breakfast and lunch. Absolutely delicious! My family of 5 enjoyed every bite! We always love getting a side of fruit for my daughter and this by far is the best selection of fruit I've ever had served, as it's usually cantaloupe and a grape most places we've gone. I Love the variety on the menu and how it's associated with the ship yard atmosphere. It's Family owned which I prefer as it's always an honor to support our neighbors. Our service each time has been wonderful with Lauren and also special with Brook. The food came out quick too! I can't wait to keep trying new items. Kudos!!

You REALLY need to try this.

Try there new item. A Boata Loco Moco-Rice,Ribeyesteak,brown gravy, over medium eggs, green onions. Delicious

After confirming the hours on line and driving to Sturgeon Bay, I was disappointed to find the restaurant closed. Despite the welcome flag outside, all the doors had closed signs posted.

Heard there was a new place in town, we normally go to the other breakfast places in town, time to go support new businesses. The decor is cute and clean. The food was outstanding. I had an omelet with ham, peppers and onion. That's my go-to and it was nice to have it at a place that cooks the peppers so they are actually cooked. The menu has plenty to choose from; I'll be back to try their cheesesteak very soon.

Fun place, outside seating in summer, good food, and great sangria! Easy walk from water and marinas.

If there is a line of a dozen or more standing in line, plan on returning at 5:30 pm, or perhaps every half hour as the first in line get welcomed and seated first. Don't be upset if you press for seating even if the restaurant is half empty. We're puzzled as to why the restaurant doesn't take reservations, as there is a staff shortage in kitchen and wait staff. There is a permanent help wanted sign in its window. Perhaps taking reservations and guaranteeing showing up by taking a credit card first might help with greeting and accommodating the limited number of tables this restaurant can handle courteously and politely. If you do miss the first seating, don't be offended if the host/ hostess doesn't suggest waiting at the bar and enjoying a cocktail or glass of wine while you wait for your later seating. Be proactive and ask for permission to sit at the bar. Don't be offended if the bartender is curt and impatient. It's difficult to keep a good efficient staff. We're not sure if the food is good. As we were treated rudely upon entering, and they'd reached their initial seating capacity, our questions were answered impatiently and coldly. We did leave our name to return after 35 minutes. We left the restaurant and stood outside to reassess the situation. We decided it wasn't worth the attitude. So we crossed the street and had a welcoming and delicious dinner with drinks and desserts at Crate which we highly recommend. If you are familiar with the Seinfeld TV series, visiting Trattoria Dal Santo is very much like encountering the Soup Nazi. Proceed at your own risk

We got the 1/2 chicken on Thursday and came back for broiled whitefish ($15) and fried seafood combo ($20) on Friday (scallops, shrimp, perch, and whitefish). Generously prepared, great seasoning and with the right temperature. The fries are sprinkled with cinnamon which was a first for me. The sweet potato fries were a little soggy but not bad. No drinks, no "we will be with you shortly" or anything. We just sat there. Finally a server came over and said they had a big group come in and it was causing some backup and the host should have told us; he didn't. The drinks and appetizer came quickly and the street corner appetizer was very good; I would order it again. Once the appetizer was finished we sat with empty glasses for a good while. Again, no communication. Once the food arrived, things got much better. Wraps were good, not great. My daughter's pizza was good. With all the restaurants in the area, they will need to up their game on service.

Sat right on the lake, with a massive lawn, fire pit, and menu full of plenty of food from wraps and apps to burgers, nachos, and wings. It was a lovely night so we sat outside. People around us were playing provided yard games like bags and giant guess who, adding to the great atmosphere. We didn't come for food perse, but did get a few things for our hungry kiddos. The tenders were yummy and my youngests devoured the mac and cheese. I opted for a margarita. Though I have to say it wasn't the most enjoyable, as it was definitely made from one of those pre-mixes that is beyond sweet and syrupy. I didn't finish it. Instead, swapped to joining everyone else on having a beer. Can't go wrong with Yuengling on tap. All in all, great ambiance and would certainly return.
