The most horrible experience i have ever had. I used to go to this salon all the time the owner has since retired. I am not sure who is running this place now but it should be shut down. I went in to simply have my eyebrows done even made an appointment. The lady that took me back had no clue what she was doing as a esthetician, she kept going over my eyelids mind you with the hot wax peeling my skin off, then putting some type of liquid on it that burned me even more. I just took a chance on this nail salon the other day. It was my first time in and Nina did my pedicure. All I can say is I found my new permanent Pedicure Technician with Nina. She did an outstanding job on the pedicure, she's a very good conversationalist, and she is very sweet! After the pedicure I tried her 30 minute massage. My mother recently visited this shop as a long time customer. She went in for a trim and came out butchered! The stylist did not ask or obviously has no experience cutting a 90 yr young women's hair as she absolutely chopped it so short she was not able to even get a small curling iron in it. She's so embarrassed to go out in public and has resorted to a wig to feel good about her looks. If I could post a picture of her before and after I would. She will never return to this shop as I see others have had the same results. When I am in town I will visit them for a refund. This is a LOST CUSTOMER! and I hope others don't have the same experience as her. Not one to leave bad reviews, but this was by far the worst gel manicure experience I've ever had. Came in for an appointment at 4, was not out until almost 6. I had made an appointment intentionally to avoid wasting my time waiting around, which is what I ended up doing anyways. The lady doing my nails left in the middle of removing my old gels to give another woman an entire pedicure, start to finish, while I was left sitting for a half hour. The gel also started chipping two days afterwards, and now, (5 days since manicure) every single nail except two are totally chipped across the entire top of the nail, or is peeling back. It was one thing to have to wait so long, but this is the worst quality manicure I've ever had as well. read more

Don't be foolish and go here. We went for years and overlooked many errors but have now reached the end. Some examples of the miserable treatment provided: - haircut that started with a buzzer run across the top/middle of my head. No fixing it after that. The woman cutting hair clearly had no clue or license - massages that burn - massage oil causing full body rashes - nail polish spilled on a phone case with no apology - taking the cash tip, waving it in the air shouting to the other ladies something in Vietnamese. Don't think it was a celebration! - back of neck slashed by sharp buzzers - having the masseuse hop on the massage table and straddle my wife pushing her with her chest I won't insinuate further on the appearance of many of the male clientele looking for their massages but it created an uncomfortable waiting room. If you go and have read this, then take responsibility for the rashes, burns, unlevel haircuts, burned lashes, wrong color hair dye, and open insults from the staff. You have been warned. read more

The staff is very friendly, the place is pretty clean and Tutti gave me a really good foot massage with the pedi. Diane gave me the eyebrow wax and I liked the way she shaped my brows. CHEAP! $18 for my pedi, $8 for my eyebrow wax. I guess I'll save my pedis and eyebrow waxes for when I head up to Sacto to visit mom and sis. Next time I'll bring my own Opi polish although they have Opi ones there because I wasn't too impressed with their nail polish selection. Some of the bottles looked kinda old or needed to be shaken. As an update to my previous review: while the gel manicure was great, be careful to make sure that enough time is taken when removing the gel. Mine was removed more in haste and my nails suffered for it. The gel should come off easily if enough time is spent. It should not have to be scraped off which destroys your nails. read more

Wow this is an amazing nail salon. My absolute favorite by far. I got pedicure the middle upgrade $30 and gel polish $16 through groupon coupon. My friend got acrylic nails. We both agree the customer service is wonderful. The pedicure was amazing, the massage was great and she really scrubbed my feet. I could tell she had a great massage technique. These ladies are nice and professional. They'll chat if you want but if you don't they won't pry either. My boyfriend and I go in for pedicures on a semi regular basis. The one we get has a nice exfoliating scrub, and some green stuff that they leave on that is very cooling, then they come in with warm wax bags for your feet and warm rock massage. It's very relaxing. My boyfriend started getting his haircuts there and he always looks very nice and clean! Pricing is worth it. Great place! read more

Worst experience ever, went for a massage with my friend, and the masseuses slipped and dropped hot stones nearly burning us and pulling our hair out while massaging our heads. WORST SALON IVE EVER BEEN TOO!!! As I began to get a full set of white tips, I realized she was rushing and putting on the tips carelessly, I mentioned to her that one nail was extremely sideways and she claimed "my nail grow like that" I've been getting nails done for 6 years now and know how they are supposed to look. I asked her to redo one nail, and she starts screaming that I'm a difficult costumer and she doesn't want to continue. I've never been treated with such poor costumer service in my life. Can I leave zero stars? Wish I could. I bought on Groupon. BIG mistake. My little sister and I went... I made appointments. Gel manicure for me with a pedicure, only gel manicure for my sister. They said if you're in a hurry, we can do your manicure at the same time as your pedicure (2 people) and I said that would be great. WRONG. They did my entire pedicure while she got her nails done, and then did my manicure. The manicurist was so rude to me, as she was rubbing my arms with lotion (for like 0.75 of a second...) because she PULLED AT MY ARM HAIR AND SAID "TOO LONG" omg. I don't know why I didn't walk out right then... What a b***h! How can you say that to someone? And for the record, I'm 5'5", 125 lbs, and have BLONDE hair. It's NOT TOO LONG. So rude. They took FOREVER, didn't care, told me my nail polish color (a bright purple color) wouldn't look good with my skin. Oh the list goes on. And I kept asking for the water to be hotter, and that NEVER happened. it was HOT AS HELL that day and they were offering EVERYONE ELSE BOTTLED WATER. I finally looked up at her and politely asked for water. She said nothing. She left and came back with bottles of water for us... Also the women who were in there when I was there look like they're prostitutes. Just saying. And they need to learn to sit like ladies when they're rubbing your feet (legs wide open. yuck). I will never go back. I try different salons using groupon in an effort to find a salon I want to stay with. I chose the two person pedicure and gel. This is a basic service so don't expect anything special. The pedicure was good but it felt rushed, My heels are not as smooth as other places. I have acrylic gel French tips and said I would pay extra to have them filled. The owner said that I had to have them removed, no fill. I told her never mind I'll just do the pedicure instead. By the time my pedicure was done they said they would do the fill on my nails. The manicurist used too coarse of a sander and was rushing. She took off the top layer which was fine but she pushed hard and burned too deep by my cuticles three times. One is deep enough it's red and infected. Then she got the acrylic into the wound. My daughter in law came with me, her pedicure was fine, and she just had gel nail polish put on. One of the colors came out too clear so she told the manicurist to take it off, and the manicurist got mad said she had something in her eye and left. It wasn't a big deal it was the fault of the nail polish, so that seemed over dramatic. The owner worked with my daughter in law to get the right color and a different manicurist finished the job. Again, I think the attitude came from trying to rush the work. I'm sure once they know you they slow down, but as a new customer It was a terrible experience. I'm going to go to a previous salon and see if they can take off the one acrylic and let my nail heal. read more

Mandy, our hairdresser of many years, has recently moved her shop from Auburn boulevard, Carmichael to 212 Harding Avenue, Roseville. My whole family is happy and proud of her as the new salon has more services and employees, rooms are more spacious and with nice decor. Ambience is great! All women who are working there are very friendly. I received a great pedi from one of them and a eyebrow thread and haircut from Mandy. I found this place and have now been in 3 times. My first visit was worth 4 stars, second 3 stars, and today 1 star. They aren't professional in demeanor and will not turn away business even when they are busy. I made an appointment for a basic mani pedi and it took an hour and a half for my basic manicure because they were busy arguing customers into staying and waiting. As a result I was stuck sitting and waiting in the midst of my manicure. Then she ran out of the color in the middle of my manicure and it was such a mess. A nice lady walks in at 2 and asked for a french mani (also an appointment ) the lady gets the run around about why they are running late. She offered to come back and I watched as the manager actually physically held her there pulling on her arm trying to make her sit in the chair...after they surround her and convince her to stay the manicurist tells her that she should get gel polish instead of french because it will chip. She didn't want gel so she said never mind, just clear is fine. They surround her again begging her to pick a color. It was the strangest thing!!! She finally (almost in tears) said NO COLOR! PLEASE LISTEN! and they seem annoyed but they stop. The manicurist proceeded to ask 4 more times during the rest of her manicure. Thus poor lady. Meanwhile my 1 o clock apt was dragging along, I had to leave by 3 so I changed my request from mani pedi to just mani and polish change. They were not happy. I just said stop asking or I won't get a polish change at all... they weren't happy and tried over charging me at the door explaining it costs to remove polish... um...?
