We stayed at The Dunes for a pageant recently and had such a fun time! It was so convenient to stay…read morethere after the event. The room was fine and did the job. It was quiet and we couldn't hear anyone in neighboring rooms. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. We had a standard king room on the second floor. Check-in was easy and our front door overlooked the pool. I don't think the pool was open when we were there because it was still chilly outside. It was a great experience, but frankly it was just a bummer that it felt like the entire space was geared towards gay men rather than queer PEOPLE as a whole. As a queer woman, I just wish it had felt like I was represented too, but it's okay cause not every space is for me! I also don't know if it's the norm, but the bar was pretty empty for a Saturday night which just didn't give the vibe for dancing I was hoping for. All the staff were so kind and helpful. Would totally stay here again if needed/staying in the area and would recommend to someone who is curious! I don't think I'd seek it out independently just because I live in Grand Rapids and it's only about 45 minutes away and again, feels like the vibe is more focused on men.

Great fun place on weekends .. they do charge to use the pool.. and the shows, except sunday…read more. T dance is great on Sunday. And a wooded area you can explore, the bartender at the front inside bar is full of attitude.. pour very very weak drinks. Monday at 9. Is trivia night.. rooms are very outdated for the price. Super expensive on weekends

I'm feeling underground vibes here....like a secret society that everyone wants to be good…read morewith...Reminds me of both the Bilmar and the Thunderbird in Treasure Island, Florida where we vacation every spring break....We rolled up for some apps, Britney's Cola, an Old Fashioned for the young & trendy, and a homemade Roy Rogers:). The Korean Wangs were Dlish and reminded me of the wangs in the IC at BigGrove and the corn dip was a homerun....I bet in the good 'ole days...great dinners were had and deals were made here and in Florida....Good 'Ole Boys Vibes... My wonder is if the #floridaboys that relocated to #sarasotabopville came up North to let the games begin....All the boys had nicknames and this what the ladies called them; Frank White, White Frank, McWeiner, Dietz Nuts, and we kindly gave Jake the nickname, "Jake the Pimp," which we regretted immediately after we were late to our drive by and we explained we were taking a moment of silence and that mo fo actually asked us what we were talking about...and last but not least 'Bout it 'Bout it....I fo realz do not know how they let these two clowns in....they must have been on paw patrol and been vending machine fillers...'Bout it 'Bout it was 'bout nut tin' but sh*t and I once watched him try to put his shorts on for like 10 minutes and wondered if he graduated Kindergarten....but I loved him like I loved his brother Frank(RIP). I definitely won't be bogus and would definitely hit this spot again; page all your friends the secret code...#papajohns #wheaton #saugatuck #treasureisland #sarasota #ginnP

Had such a fun experience eating and getting drinks at Coral Gables! It was busy on a Saturday but…read moreluckily they had seating available still outside since they have a huge outdoor space. There was live music playing which made the vibe lively and fun. They accommodated for a lot of large groups there, saw quite a few bachelorette groups. Our server was really sweet and our food was really good as well. The crab ragoon was so creamy on the inside and perfectly fried on the outside. The fish and chips was served super hot and the fries are pub style. The hot chicken sandwich was also so fresh and crispy with the perfect amount of heat. Definitely worth stopping by, they are open late and also have The Annex- another late open bar. Atopt of it which was one of the most fun piano bars.
