The performances are mesmerizing, and the ambiance at the venue where I saw Queen of Hearts and Petite Rouge is stunning and immersive from the moment you walk in. Highly recommend experiencing Company XIV at least once - though chances are you'll want to return again. This time I went on a Saturday night and again bought reserved seating. I got another seat right up front. I don't think it was 85 dollars this time though, maybe more in the 60s range. Still 100 percent worth it. Again, it was laughter til tears rolled down my face. It was joy. It was love and acceptance. If you're not a prude and you need some respite from today's hard times, the slipper room is for you. Can't wait to go back again. Ignore the hater reviews. They have multiple acts every night and you can tell the performers work hard on them. They are impressive. If you don't like it, please get up there and YOU do it.

We were literally in front of the stage. If you buy a seat and not a table you must go to bar and order whatever drinks you like. The drinks are fairly priced (had goose island on draft all night). Now let's assess the show. It starts with this quirky MC that comes out and introduces his quirky self and the performing aerialist and burlesque dancers. All of the burlesque dancers were very talented and they all had different personalities. You had the happy one, the sassy one, the fun one, and the evil one lol. The aerialists were very talented and disciplined as well. The Brazilian girl kicked ass! Now to make the night even more interesting I was volunteered on the stage by my gf for a little competition to win a free drink. I will keep the details of what I had to do to myself but I ended winning a free drink on stage. Overall I had a great night and the staff was very friendly and interactive. I would definitely come here in a big group or with a significant other. There are also plenty of things to do in the area such as Brooklyn bridge park. He worked the audience and while entertaining, his entire performance was less scandalous than something you'd see at the slipper room. Sometimes it's more fun when things are eluded to than blatant, outright perversion.. Jenny Rocha and her troupe exude class, talent and skill. All of their lineups were engaging and appealing, especially the "hospital/surgery" performance. I was snickering the entire time! The rest of the performances were professional, all with some form of appeal and talent. The venue space is fantastically lit but, a little uncomfortable. The Aeriel/ribbon performers looked precariously close to the tables. We were awkwardly seated under the stairs at the end of the back row. As the stage manager was moving props next to me, I felt cramped between the bottom of the stairs and the wall. Additionally, I had to constantly reposition and myself so I could see the acts that weren't performed directly on stage. In short, I couldn't easily see the show - and for once in my life it wasn't because of any vertical disadvantage. While a table certainly would have been more cozy, and had a much better view, I didn't feel the $50 minimum per person (in addition to the ticket) was worthwhile. I also didn't want to be forced to eat there considering the plethora of dinner options across the east river... Doors open at 8:30, but it's essentially dead until 9:10.

She was always so friendly and flirty with me. Last night I came with my new partner. As soon as we walked in, she was standing nearby and she looked angry seeing us together. The rest of the night, all I could feel were her eyes on me from afar. At one point, she passed by me and secretly caressed my ass. I felt very uncomfortable and asked my partner if we could leave right after. I didn't feel safe asking for a manager to report her as she's already a supervisor security there. This is supposed to be a safe space and I DID NOT FEEL SAFE!!! Apparently from another person there, she gets "around" with girls there and even denied someone entry because they were no longer together. I made sure to check in with them, and they were incredibly understanding and accommodating, which set the tone right away. We were there to celebrate three birthdays, and every single one of us had an amazing time. I've been to dinner shows with burlesque before, and usually either the food or the entertainment falls short--but not here. The food was delicious, the dancers were phenomenal (truly no weak links--each performer was incredible in their own way), and there was even a live band, which elevated the entire experience.
