I knew I had to go to Duane Park the next time I visited New York, and after following them for a while, I'm so glad I finally did. It absolutely did not disappoint. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. We stayed outside the city to avoid the crowds, which caused us to arrive late for our seating time. I made sure to check in with them, and they were incredibly understanding and accommodating, which set the tone right away. We were there to celebrate three birthdays, and every single one of us had an amazing time. I've been to dinner shows with burlesque before, and usually either the food or the entertainment falls short--but not here. The food was delicious, the dancers were phenomenal (truly no weak links--each performer was incredible in their own way), and there was even a live band, which elevated the entire experience. The show itself was stunning from start to finish. While it may seem a bit pricey at first glance, it is absolutely worth it for the quality, atmosphere, and overall experience. This is a must-do in New York, in my opinion. I would go back in a heartbeat. read more

I have been attending this show for several years and have been at least ten times, often bringing friends and guests visiting from out of town or overseas because the show itself is truly enjoyable. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, the sound quality was not properly equalized to a comfortable level. The volume and balance were so overwhelming that we had to change tables, and even then we needed to request earplugs. Even our waiter was wearing ear protection. Instead of enjoying the performance, I ended up feeling nauseous and experienced significant discomfort afterward. It is a shame because the show is really nice and has the potential to be a great experience. At this point, I am hesitant to return unless I receive confirmation that the sound issue has been addressed and corrected, as guest comfort and safety are essential to the experience....and 5 stars review update. read more

For two people with two drinks and two entrées at the tax in the service we will cost you a little more than $250. For an upscale brunch at that cost maybe at least one drink should be included. As a regular at various burlesque shows, I would say this show does have a little more to offer, but for the price point I did expect to see a little more. There is a contortionist which definitely adds to the ambience. All of the acts were great, but I can't say it was something unique that I've never witnessed before at a cheaper Burlesque show. I have been following Duane Park on IG for about two years. I have had it at the top of my list to try out when in the city. We finally made it there on our last trip and attended the show on Thursday, 12/19/24. We booked through Yelp (your card will be charged a $50pp hold on your card once you confirm your table. That hold will be refunded upon arrival on the night of, and may take up to 72 hours to show back on your card. So do not freak out...they DID refund me). We were running behind due to subway car issue and I was freaking out because our reservation was for 7:15pm (to start the dinner process) ahead of the 7:30pm show. We got there at 7:30pm to find we were just fine. They had staggered other reservations earlier in the night, but we were not the last to be seated. We placed our choices from the menu for the four-course dinner and our drinks. Then, we sat there awkwardly for about 10 minutes until the show started and they brought us our food. This was one of the worst parts... the room feels "cheap" for lack of a better word right now. The purple neon lighting, the creaky hard wood flooring, the lack of soft materials, the wedding banquet decor, the TINY rickety tables that almost fall over if you bump them... it is a lipstick job to APPEAR highclass, but if they truly want it to be, it needs some upgrades. This had been a surprise for my husband and I instantly regretted it after we were seated. The good: I had put a note on my reservation that I was hoping for a good view of the stage for my husband's birthday and they did seat us basically front and center. I do appreciate that. Some of the entertainers were amazing (see below)!! I wish there were more of them and less of the others. I like that they ask you to "dress elegantly" with no hats, sneakers, or T-shirts allowed. Everyone there abided by the request. Our waiter did a good job. The "Moulin Rouge" cocktail was amazing. My food was generally pretty good (tuna tartare, roasted breast of organic chicken, and trio of ice creams). Nothing outstanding, but definitely no complaints there, either. The band was excellent. Our waiter was efficient and proper (but the water move I mention below was not cool). The center stage hydraulic system was very cool. It looks like all seats are good and the performers come around (they were at our backs 1/4 of the time), so don't worry about where you sit. Coat check is mandatory, but free + tip. The not so good: the marketing videos on IG and the ticket prices and the request to dress elegantly leads you to believe this will be a high-class show. It is not. The acts were entertaining for sure, but there was a hulahooper, a twerker, a sword swallower, etc. More circusy and lowbrow for some acts. And sorry to say, but some of them look like they need to wash their hair. The girl from DC twerking was honestly TOO MUCH. We see all kinds of shows and love them for what they are at every level (think House of Yes and Company XIV), BUT we don't like being "tricked." This show is kind of all over the place and not the elegant upscale show we were led to believe. Had we known what it was, our minds would have been more ready, I guess. Other yelp reviews seem to say this is a recent change (maybe having a hard time finding acts)? They should cut out the low-class acts and keep the better ones for longer sets (contortionist was super sexy, the Penthouse Playmate was glamorous, the singer/host was sexy and has an incredible voice, even the sword swallower kept it classy). The experience says it was supposed to last 150 minutes. The show started at 7:40ish and ended at 9:20pm. Then, they came around with everyone's checks. The dinner and performance is $149 per person, not inclusive of tax, gratuity, or beverages. Our total came to $475 with just adding three cocktails to the $150pp ticket. Oh! And he charged us $9 for water when we didn't ask for bottled. Sneaky and not worth putting a bad taste in your customer's mouths for a $9 upcharge. My husband did not enjoy the show and (even though I love bodies and expressions of ALL persuasion as a pan person), I did not really, either. It is a shame because it could easily be 5 stars with some tweaks. Would I recommend it? Only if someone is REALLY into Burlesque shows already AND I warned them about not expecting the cream of the crop for every act. If there was a way to pay half priced for just the show, that would be better. I'd prefer to do that and eat elsewhere, even though the food was good, the table was not. read more

They were very pleasant, and we even shared a good laugh with them. After checking our coats, we were seated. The space is intimate but perfectly sized, in my opinion. We placed our food order with our server, Josiah, who was friendly and attentive. Their prix fixe menu offers a nice variety of food options, and everything we ordered was delicious. After dinner came the show, and all the performers were amazing. Although we spent a bit more than expected, it was worth it to us! My only issue was with the ladies seated at the table next to us. I thoroughly enjoyed myself all night long. All of the staff was excellent. Everyone was very pleasant and the service was top tier. The place is smaller than I expected but still plenty of seating. They can accommodate any size party. Arrive a little early so you can partake a drink or two before being seated. Once seated your order is taken from a pre fixed menu then the show will start. The MC for the night did her thang! Sis put a jazzy soul onto every number she sang. The performers were beautiful and top tier. I enjoyed every minute they even came into the audience which of course pleased the crowd. The food was excellent from everyone at my table no on had any complaints about the food they ordered. The entertainment was great, the host was hilarious and the drinks were delicious. Its such an intimate setting that anywhere you sit you will have a great view of the show and the entertainers definitely walked through the crowd, allowing everyone to join in the fun . Haven't been to Duane Park in years. The first time I went for brunch. This was my first time experiencing their dinner performances last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the three-course dinner! And the performances did not disappoint! The food was really good. I had the duck confit that was experimental with the polenta and sour cherries- a surprising combination that worked! The duck was tender and flavorful. They also provided cocktail shrimp with guac as a complimentary starter for the table which was nice. I also got the vegan heart of palm cakes with the fennel salad- packed with flavor and really enjoyed it! My friends who ordered the beef tenderloin also enjoyed their meals! I went to Duane Park for a girl's night out & it did not disappoint! We wore ball gowns because we wanted a reason to dress up & did not feel out of place. We actually got compliments from the performers & other guests mostly celebrating birthdays ( men & women). 1. Ambiance- Intimate aka small lol, but you actually get over that pretty quickly. This makes any seat in the house a good seat. The performers come from both angles and the stage is in the middle. The worst part was that the bathrooms were downstairs & I already explained that we were in ball gowns (with stilettos) :(. 2. Food- I went on a Sunday so there was a brunch menu. My group tried the steak hash & salmon (not many optoins), but it was filling. This was included in the ~$89 prixe dice but we added on a $9 bread that shared for three. Remember, drinks aren't included! We ordered a $45 bottle of wine (rose') that also shared. 3. Entertainment- Man, they know how to put on a show! The star was a male acrobatic performer, but the sexy & daredeveling performers were good as well. None were the same. They also interacted with the crowd & invited people on the stage. The best touch was the live band and singing. The host looked and sounded like a better version of Justin Timberlake but funny. Jaw dropped! Overall a good time. Yes!!! I'm here for ALL OF THIS! I actually found this spot, via a friend's IG page and knew I wanted to come. Fast forward a year and my girl & I turned it into a birthday trip. We reserved the early seating because well.......... we're getting old(er). Ha! My girlfriend and I arrived a little after 5:0 0 pm for a four-course meal and a show. They weren't quite ready to seat us so we sat at the bar and ordered some amazing drinks! We love some craft cocktails! Their 'Jezebel' (with gin, fresh ginger, mint + vietti moscatto d'asti) is well known and has made it to the pages of several magazines. I could see why. It was delicious. I had the Bowery Honey Bee with bourbon, honey syrup, citrus, spritz of scotch. OMG! I wanted to try another drink, but the Honey Bee was so smooth. You can taste the honey. Amazing drinks! The bartender was telling us the drinks must be agreed upon by all (owners, servers, performers, etc.). That's pretty cool! But check this out.............. they sat us right next to the stage! Hell yeah! And by the way, this spot it intimate! ...smaller than it appears on the website. But I prefer intimate. We were so close they had to move our table back for an aerial performance. Woah! The way it works is, you dine first and then the show follows. And let me tell you what, the meal is NOT an afterthought! We started w/scallops & shrimp cocktail, moved on to beef tenderloin & cod wellington, then had 'cakes' for dessert. It was a savory, satisfying meal. I see a lot of reservations for dinner but not many for brunch, so this is a review for the Sunday brunch. I attended with a party of 2 and booked reservations ahead of time. The brunch was supposed to start at 2pm, so we got there around 1:45. We were the first to arrive, but second to be seated. The performances didn't start until around 3:15 and lasted until about 4:30. It was not stated ahead of time when the performances would start so we were there for quite a while. For food we got the beef tenderloin and the heart of palm, and for drinks we got the espresso martini and the pom pom. Both were amazing. There are also complimentary muffins and scones at the table. The performances were fun, lively and there were some interactive portions of the show. The dancers are never fully nude, but if you are uncomfortable with almost nude dancers, I wouldn't recommend this for you. The price for brunch and the show is $85 per person. With drinks, tax and tip, it came to about $135 per person so it's a little pricey. read more

The main reason for this rating is due to the entertainment. The entertainment was phenomenal. The host was engaging and had such a beautiful voice. The dancers were beautiful, inspiring, graceful, sexy, and just memorizing. Everyone had their own unique flavors but somehow it all came together so beautifully. I would definitely recommend for a date night/show. As for the food, it was a bit tasteless. The duck was the best thing on the menu. Everything lacked flavor and honestly reminded me of food you'd get from an all inclusive resort. It lacked variety, but nevertheless I came for the show which made it so much better. My love for burlesque is equivalent to my love for food, having said that, I went back to Duane park for a show for the 1st time since covid, and I'm glad to say they really improved on everything since the last time I was there. They require Guests to check coats downstairs, which I appreciate, because it makes the venue seem less clustered. Liza at coat check was such a sweetheart. The venue reminds me of the 'Crazy Horse in Paris' and has some sort of old Hollywood movie vibe, which automatically transports you to a different place, mentally. We tried to get a table initially but they were sold out so we reserved a bar table, but on arrival we were told by the very kind host- David, that he could probably snag something for us on the main floor and luckily he did. We definitely had the best seat in the house. A prefix menu was served- 4 courses- and all very delicious, we had the octopus, slow roasted duck Confit, the grilled beef tenderloin and the dessert special which was a Selection of House made Petit Fours. All very delicious. But the octopus and tenderloin stole my little heart. Our server was George, and though he was good, he seemed overwhelmed and distracted and was always in a hurry. I guess there's a shortage of wait staff due to the pandemic. And they're on a time schedule because of the show. Now you don't really come here for the food, you come here to see the talent, and by God, that is way better than the food. After dinner was done and all the tables cleared, the show began with instruments- Chuck Norris on the drums, Nash on the trumpet, Andre on the piano, and Lewis on the guitar, the singer/ vocalist - Lisa, wow! Just wow! Her voice was angelic, it feels like these set of humans were standing in front of the line, when God was handing out talents. Afterwards the dancers came on and that by far was the best dessert in my opinion. Just when you think "wow that dancer was so good", another act hits the stage, completely blowing your mind. Lazlow who was on the hoops really rocked my world, he could do things with the hoop that I've never ever seen before, and it was a delightful welcoming surprise. I think he might be a new act. The entire performance had the crowd on their feet, with a roaring applause after each performance and at the end of the night. I will always come back here, that's a given. And I'm very appreciative of the improvements made since my last visit, lastly I was excited to buy my first ever tassels from here which they carry around after show ends. Food wise, I'd recommend the duck confit appetizer and the tenderloin; my cod was cooked well but the accompaniments and sauce were just OK. Feels like a jaded tourist trap. Used to enjoy the elegant show, fine dining but now Duane Park appears to be targeting the bawdy bachelorette party crowd instead. Food and service quality has been exchanged for profit, and customers literally suffer. Spent the last hour since getting home doubled over with stomach pain. Wish I could suggest it was drink related, but we were all unable to finish either of the two drinks we ordered because the wait staff took unfinished glasses from our and other tables throughout the establishment and show. Entertainment was generally excellent though seedier than previous visits with acts more tailored to bachelorette parties... but perhaps the kitchen should close and do us all a favor. $600 a couple is steep for the food, drink and service quality. Do yourself a favor and fly to Paris for a real revu show. The price for a champagne service decent table at Moulin Rouge is less expensive, classier and a better experience than Moulin Rouge...hell a one way flight to Paris is a similar price. read more

What a lovely, romantic and unique experience! Upon arrival we checked in and was first guided downstairs to check our coats. Although coat check is free, don't forget to tip. After leaving our coats we went back up where we were waited on and guided to our table. Couples are sat next to one another appose to in front of each other. Our table was directly next to the band and on a positive note, I must say it was not as loud as I had expected it to be. Our waiter took our order and meals come out in a timely manner. One thing we noticed was every table was asked if they were there for a celebration and yet we were not asked; maybe because we noted that when booking reservations. Those celebrating an occasion received a complementary dessert with a candle; unfortunately, we did not. The show began about an hour in a half after we started eating. The hostess was outstanding. She opened the show with a beautiful voice and strong persona. Each dancer took the stage and owned it, showing us their amazing talent and assuring to make their way all around the room. There is no parking on premises. We parked about two blocks away from this location. The walk was not bad at all. Pricing was about $30 total. Do know when making reservations their is a $50 reservation fee per person. This fee is held until you arrive and is not automatically deducted from your bill. It will take a few days to be reversed. For those who enjoy wine and plan on having more than one drink, I recommend purchasing a bottle of wine. Keep in mind the online rate does not include tax and automatic gratuity. For a party of two plus a low priced bottle of wine our bill average to $500. All in all, this pricing isn't so bad for a lovely classy dinner and burlesque show in the city. read more

We went to Duane Park to celebrate my sister's birthday, we went as a party of 7 girls to a 9pm Saturday show. The area is very convenient for finding parking garages, several are nearby. We were greeted by a host that was courteous and nice. We had to go downstairs to check our coats and use the restroom and we were promptly seated at 9. Our server came to the table within minutes. We had water brought out immediate and our drinks came soon after. The menu is pre-fix. We needed to place our order for all 3 courses right away. I ordered the endive salad, steak dinner and chocolate cake for dessert. Others at the table ordered fries and broccoli rabe. My food was delicious, they asked us how we wanted the steaks cooked we all Wanted medium well, all the steaks came out more rare. It was delicious and the lights were dim enough that I could ignore the pink color. The host was fabulous, he had An amazing singing voice and a funny and cool personality. The live band sounded great too! All the performers were fabulous! The cocktails were delicious. The reason for 4 stars is that I was expecting a little more of a special presentation of the dessert for the birthday girl. The other reason is the price. Our bill was just short of $1800.00 it's a pricey night out. This venue was chosen by my sister, it's not my cup of tea but it was a pleasant and unique experience. Be ready for up close and personal shows from the dancers. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone that is looking for a boudoir experience, does not lack any aspects in that way.
