Our pool was in need of new tile , the kool deck resurfaced and the pebble tec replaced in our 15k gallon pool. Andres came out to our house on multiple times to help us with the selection of the various items. He provided a reasonable quote and said he could start as soon as the following week. We are so glad we used this Company, they quoted a time frame of 2 weeks start to finish and were able to complete within that time frame. We love our new pool and it looks fantastic. Easy, straightforward, and exactly as promised. AE and Sons was the first of four companies I got an estimate from and was a clear winner in cost. Andres, the owner, came out the day I called and gave a very quick estimate. He didn't measure the pool as everyone else did. This concerned me at first, but on his estimate the internal surface area he listed was almost EXACTLY what I had calculated geometrically. Closer than those who measured the perimeter. Makes sense that he used his judgment rather than a table based on perimeter since pools come in so many varied shapes. Throughout the process, Andres NEVER tried to upsell us on anything. He even seemed to favor the most economical choices. We decided to have the deck done later, no problem. We, coincidentally, went with the same surface as a previous review here--Stonescapes Midnight Blue Mini Pebble. Andres warned that darker surfaces can be more prone to uneven mixing and mottled appearance, but was happy to do it for a small upgrade fee (MUCH smaller than the other companies). In the end, the surface was more even than I could have imagined. Andres said the process would take a week to week and a half. We signed the contract Wednesday night, he started draining the pool Thursday, chipped out the old plaster Saturday, patched the concrete and repaired our steps Sunday, applied the new pebble Tuesday, acid washed and filled it on Wednesday. He always texted or called the day before to say when they would be here working and was right on schedule. I added a close-up comparison photo of the surface template we picked online and our actual surface to show how perfectly it turned out. Ours seems to be missing small green pieces but that may be because we expressed that we really did not want any green tint. I prefer it that way, regardless. The surface is incredibly well smoothed out with NO trowel marks or streaking. I strongly recommend AE and Sons for resurfacing your pool. read more

Our pool was a disaster and in need of replastering. We requested a quote and I was very surprised as the price was much less than other quotes we had received in the past. We were able to get pebble tec for the price others were charging for basic plaster. They were extremely professional and wanted to get started right away. They were finished within a week of me requesting the quote and we were not disappointed these guy know what they are doing. I didn't know my pool could look so good. Andres and his crew did an awesome job remodeling our 10,000 gallon pool. It needed new pebble tech and new cool deck. Andres came in 2,500.00 lower than the next competitive bid and he offered to update my water feature and add some concrete for the same price. Communication was a little slow at first and I was skeptical because of the price but that all went away after the work started. The crew was fast , reliable and very clean. We bought a house with a pool that had been painted and knew we would have to refinish it but hoped to wait until the end of summer. After fighting with chemicals, in July we decided to go ahead and resurface rather than wait until end of season. As I usually do on any major project, I got 3 bids. They came in lowest and I also had a good feeling about the owner when he came out and met with us. My instincts were right! I've heard people complain a lot about time frames, but when I asked (this was on Saturday) he said we can start Monday and be finished by Friday...and that's how it happened! I went with a quartz finish rather than plaster. We added a water leveler, hand rail by the steps and new pool light. Everything is perfect! I am so excited that I have all that I wanted at a price I could afford. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. read more

Thoroughly impressed. Andre came, gave us an estimate, and though there were just minor changes along the way (nothing huge), there was not an interruption to the timeline or bottom line. They did exactly what they promised and more. They made sure we were completely happy by the time they left, and let me tell you, we WERE. I got 4 bids for the resurfacing of my pool and deck, and his price was the best (which, by the way ranged from lowest to highest by more than $20,000 - unreal!). They did an awesome job on time and on budget. They even went out of their way to fix the fence and paint the new pipes that they put in to match the house and left the paint behind for me to do any touch ups I found. I had a full resurface of my plaster pool to a mini-pebble finish, and it's gorgeous. They even threw in some glass beads for free to sparkle it up. They added auto-leveler (never have to put a hose in the pool again), dedicated line for sweeper vacuum, and plumbed for a water feature (which I would have had them do if I could have decided what I wanted). The deck was refinished with an acryllic surface (much like Kool Deck), and they removed old cracked flagstone and pour new cement as well. They also added a handrail for the stairs. I would recommend Andre and his team to anyone. Best price, willing to please his customers, and did it all in the timeframe he promised! read more
