These guys were great. I ran a construction company and am currently on the Board of a company that does nothing but high voltage electrical work. I am a hard grader and these guys were fantastic. They were safe, Covid sensitive, polite, professional, and recently talented. I had to have cable run all the way across my garage in a complicated format and they handled it no problem. Only one person showed up and he did it all. At the end I asked if he could look at installing another socket on one side of a wall while he was there. I had Mark out 3 years ago to install 240V in garage with plug in EV charger. What a great job! BUT... I called in to get a 2nd charger installed this last week and a nice guy came out and installed it. But after paying him for the job (with a cash tip for his fast work), the charger would blow the breakers after about a minute or so of charging. So the "ready light" worked, but the system had not really been checked out. So I called in the next day and asked for someone to come out and see if we could make it all work. A supposed "manager" came out (If Mark still works there he doesn't answer his calls) with a helper, and started to give me reasons why this would never work -- 1) #10 wires (that were part of the ClipperCreek charger itself) were not to code; 2) timer I had in the circuit was a bad idea (been using it for 8 years with the old charger); and 3) there was something wrong with the breakers (they never got me to understand what was wrong, and what would be needed to fix it). I got frustrated -- all I wanted was what was needed to be done to make the charger work! I asked to have Mark call me, and they said (as they drove off) "Call him yourself"! I have tried. Either Mark is no longer with the firm, or on vacation, or....??? I have left multiple messages and NO ONE has CALLED ME BACK! read more

After reaching out to several electricians on the "Tesla" list to request a quote for install of a 240 outlet of which I was not able to get any responses from, I reached out to A-EV Installs and Steve reached out right away. I spoke with Steve, sent him photos of my place and received a quote right away. After accepting his offer, got a reply back that they were available right after the holiday. The job was completed on 02/Jan/2019. Mark and his team delivered what they promised, no hidden agenda or fees, pulled the city permit and did a really clean job in installing the EV outlet.
